Just caught up with some of the comments and saw the reference to “Prof.” So, I read his April 19 7:57 p.m. comment defending Chevalier’s Ph.D. and all I can say is, what an asshole. Prof writes too well (relatively speaking) to be Dr. Cheeseballs but he is no doubt a budnik and, likely, a holder himself of a mail-order degree. What an asshole.
If it’s not Dennis I have a pretty good idea who it is. Dennis has a butt-buddy who is embedded with the CAP and TSG just like he is. If “Prof” was to post his name and get scrutinized his claims are just as crazy as cheese dick.

re: Benefits, let’s put it this way: Almost of all of my very smart friends from college could easily be members. None are, because it’s more of a joke than a honor.
I actually emailed them concerning it, and they confirmed that he once was a member and that he no longer is. MENSA is a dues based organization, so you could lose membership for simply not paying them money.
And yeah, when I talked to them about it, I didn’t really find any benefit. It seems like an organization that would appeal to a shut-in with a tendency toward narcissism, not like a legitimate place to better oneself or to be among a peer group.
If that organization is so hard up or lax, that they let a moron like Chevyliar join, then it’s an organization with no credibility.

MENSA is not a character-based organization. Members who have murdered or committed other heinous crimes are not excluded or bounced from membership, for instance. The youngest member was admitted before he was potty trained (not yet three) and the oldest, at 102, was (presumably) wearing a diaper too. High IQ is meaningless unless it is used in some positive fashion. Sometimes, the early establishment of a high IQ brings expectations that go unfulfilled, due, in some instances, to pure laziness, social inadequacy, or fear. In short, bright people fail where others of lesser IQ succeed. That is because high IQ speaks to potential, not accomplishment. It’s similar to having a physical capability (e.g., running a 4.2 40 or 9.7 100) but not using it for anything. It just is. One can brag about MENSA membership or sprint-champion speed but neither is anything in itself. In Dr. Cheeseball’s case, assuming as I do that he was a MENSA member, what has his high IQ gotten him? Bragging rights and a mail-order PhD? The disdain of others? Hell, he has not even mastered basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation. He is a lunkhead, no matter how you cut his cheese.

I did a little digging on Kennedy-Western or as it’s now known, Warren National. Interesting reading to say the least. It’s not that the “school” lost it’s accreditation, it never had it to begin with. In 2009 it attempted to gain accreditation in Wyoming, failed in the attempt and then went out of business.
Originally the school was headquartered in CA, but when CA law changed in order to eliminate diploma mills, it moved to Wyoming. Wyoming law stated that in order to do business as a private college, it must be accredited by an organization recognized by the US Dept. of Education. Warren National University applied for accreditation from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and failed it’s eval visit in OCT 2008.
So, even if Chevalier’s claims of a “degree” from WKU/WNU are true, he spent $6000-$12,000 for a worthless piece of paper. Use of said degree to gain a job is illegal in the state of Texas (amongst many others.)
Additionally, while it was in operation KWU/WNU only offered one doctorate program in Business Administration.

Most–if not all–PhD programs permit the candidate up to seven years to complete the rigorous requirements. No legitimate, accredited program permits self-directed or online learning, exclusively, and anyone who claims a degree from a business that offers such degrees simply bought the degree–frame optional.
Yup, there are legitimate online doctorate programs with accredited universities, but they have an “in resident” requirement. They’re called “colloquium” and they happen more than once during the program.
Although they’re self paced, the online portion is directed, with a class participation requirement.
A online doctorate candidate still has to work on a dissertation, defend it in front of an oral board, and have that presentation accepted.
So I return from my overseas travel and I see that denny the cheese is still hanging around here…the dude is persistent, if nothing else…
