We heard about this fellow, Clark Schreiber, from someone who had served with him in the 1/9th Cav at Fort Hood, Texas back in the early part of the war in Iraq. Schreiber’s former workmate couldn’t remember him deploying with them in 2004, but Schreiber seemed to remember it;
Schreiber’s social media profile used to say that he was “Airborne infantry” and he likes wearing airborne tabs on his authentic looking vest;
Yeah, well, the NPRC doesn’t remember him being in the Ranger Regiment, nor do they remember that he graduated from the Basic Airborne Course. Also, they forgot that he deployed. There are no awards for service in war against terror, besides the accolades that everyone got. And there’s no Combat Infantryman Badge.
ADDED: Schreiber has sent me some authentic looking orders and it looks like NPRC didn’t do their job again. He indeed graduated from the Basic Airborne Course and he was assigned to 75th for a brief period of time – it looks like he terminated (un-volunteered) as soon as he arrived at the Ranger Battalion, that’s why it doesn’t show on his records.

My wife and I accept your apology and appreciate it very much; I too find your apology genuine and heart felt. You have helped restore some of my faith in mankind. I can relate to the “heat of the moment” comments and usually find that in most cases I regret them and should have given more thought in my choice of words.
Clark and I have discussed the mess he is embroiled in at length and he has indicated to me that the donations from the GoFundMe account is in a bank here locally. My wife’s and my responses were the same “show us the money, hand it over to the charity to prove your intentions”. As of yet, I haven’t seen the money, but he said he would transfer it this week. I share your disgust and can assure you neither my wife nor I condone the behavior Clark’s accused of. As I have mentioned previously, he is an adult and as a result I have little control over his behavior. I can only advise him of the consequences of his actions and have told him he needs to take immediate steps to clear this issue up or suffer the consequences. At this point it is up to him.

More than two months ago, on 25 July, Clark of GoFundMe fame wrote, “They are getting their money.” I asked him when and he responded, “And after were done with it all they will get their money. It hasn’t even started yet.” The “it” referred to the ruck march slated for 2 August. In another exchange that same day, I wrote, in part, “TODAY get the money (all of it) to the “Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.” Clark answered, “They will” which, in context, I understood to mean the Children’s fund would get the money. Clark then absented himself from TAH and, that same day (25 July), the GoFundMe page went down. Nothing but crickets from Clark as ruck-march day (2 August) came and went. He says now he was injured and couldn’t do the march. So, he donated the money when that happened? Um, no. How about a month later? Um, no. In fact, today is 28 September, nearly TWO MONTHS AFTER the cancelled ruck march and, wonder of wonders, Clark appears here and says, “I will go empty the account and send it off.” He also says he will send more than the collected amount. To sum up, Clark solicited and received substantial sums of money to ruck march in the name of a Fallen Ranger and promised to donate the money received to the “Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund.” For whatever reason, Clark did not march but neither refunded the donated money nor donated the money as promised. He is returned here today b/c a phone call to his workplace apparently struck a nerve with someone. He now says that he will donate the money. Maybe–just maybe–he will do so b/c of that phone call. To Dan – Unfortunately some children (even the “adult” ones) need to learn the hard way the difference between right and wrong. I have to commend both of you for stepping up and taking the time to talk with Clark about his actions – most parents today wouldn’t even know how to approach this with their kids.

Using the excuse of a “bad ACL” or whatever is BS – if your ACL is bad, you should not have even though about doing the hike in the first place. How do I know this? Eight years ago while I was in, I tore my ACL in a skiing accident and went through the surgery and rehab – five months post surgery I was fit for full duty and 7 months later I was skiing again. I’ve had no problems since and still stay active.
Clark, if I were you, I’d be watching what I was doing – you’re one phone call and investigation away from a jail cell and time behind bars. Just for STARTERS, this now puts Clark Schreiber’s father in the unenviable position of having to deal with an employee (his own son) who has been exposed as a con man and thief. Interesting to me Clark’s father comes across as sincere, and in his post on Sept. 28 at 12:38 a m. he seemed surprised by what Clark had done. Yet if you look at the picture at the top of this page, Clark was standing there with a ruk sak on his back while holding and waving a large P O W/ M I A flag…presumably to pitch his upcoming 250 mile hump, with all money going to charity. Look at the picture and wonder who took it. Clark was standing of all places beside a storage facility. Since he is the Asst. Mgr. at the facility his father is the Manager, maybe his father paid little attention to Clark’s activities at his work site.
In his father’s second response (also Sept 28, posted at 10:51 p m) his father mentions Clark told him he’d “transfer the money this week” (to the charity). Come tomorrow we’ll see if Clark has ANY respect for his father.
Thinking like Clark the Liar does, I’ve reached a logical conclusion to account for Peckerwood’s behavior. When he was being a war hero in Iraq, Clark was attacked by a Battalion of The Harlem Globe Trotters. They used ketchup gas on him. It does not cause a person to bleed much, but it causes them to LIE LIKE HELL for the rest of their life.

I had a step-daughter that behaved like Clark… she got pregnant twice by a Pakistani that had “overstayed his student visa”. She decided one day to drive 50 miles one way to get some crack – left the kids alone at home (they were 3 and 18 months at the time), while he was “at work”. Neighbors called the police, took the kids and arrested both of them when they showed up at the house. He got deported, she got to spend seven years in prison for child abuse. The last I heard, she was still spinning her lies and got an additional 6 months for causing “problems” in prison.
Clark is headed down the same road… the lies are going to bite him in the ass like a pit bull on a pork chop. He may not learn if sent to jail, like many of the other SV fools that have been brought to light here at TAH.

A friend gave me an idea which may or may not make sense in all this. The friend explained people who create charities normally create a 501 (c) (3) as a tax exempt entity. The reasoning given was so those in charge of the charity do not have to pay taxes on the money donated. But the friend also pointed out that some people use phony E I N numbers and other phony tax exempt numbers and get by with it until the IRS gets wind of misdeeds. Anybody care to add to that?

Two things I learned this morning. The Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund name was not copyrighted by the original organization which was created in October 2003. Accordingly, others have used the same name. One in particular, if you look CLOSE on the page, shows that they began re-branding (re-naming) their organization in 2012.
Second, as of 10-05-2016, Clark Schreiber’s $880 he conned people out of on his since-removed GoFundMe page has NOT been turned in to the original organization. How long before he claims it went to the wrong organization? Any who’d like to wager?
