It is not hard to impress hippies.

| October 17, 2011

Yes seems that once again people flock to street theater as some how showing up “the Man”. In out lates one shows a guy claiming to be a Marine Sgt with two tours in Iraq braving shouting at Police nearby.

United States Marine Corps. Sgt. Shamar Thomas from Roosevelt, NY went toe to toe with the New York Police Department. An activist in the Occupy Wall Street movement, Thomas voiced his opinions of the NYPD police brutality that had and has been plaguing the #OWS movement.

Thomas is a 24-year-old Marine Veteran (2 tours in Iraq), he currently plays amateur football and is in college.

Thomas comes from a long line of people who sacrifice for their country: Mother, Army Veteran (Iraq), Step father, Army, active duty (Afghanistan), Grand father, Air Force veteran (Vietnam), Great Grand Father Navy veteran (World War II).

Yea cause I am sure that the Police were not simply acting professional and not falling for you antics at trying to be a martyr for the cause. Nothing like a Rodney King incident to fill the coffers for the protest. I guess that this was the back up plan since the original one failed.

Here is a screen shot in case the video disappears. It shows a CAR so that should qualify for Stolen Valor. Is there anyone in the Marine Community that can check to see if this guy is a poser?

King, son. Airsoft does not make you a soldier.

NHSparky

OG–like you’d fucking know what they mean.

Doc Bailey

King, I FUCKING CARE. I care about who supported me. I care about the birds that took my guys to the CSH. I care about the Quartermasters who gave me beans and bullets, I care about the Mortuary Affairs guys that did a job I wouldn’t be able to. I care about the recovery teams that took the burned up vehicles back to the FOB. I care about the MPs that guarded the FOB and the EPWs. We all had a job to do. If they did it with honor, then I FUCKING CARE.

Doc Bailey

nope. I never made bones about my seperation. You see that “HONORABLE” part. Yes I’m an RE Code three. It kind of happens when you get sent to a WTB for a year.

Lucky

Well put Doc!!!!

ObamaGirl

@102 Yeah sparky I would know what they would mean, just like I know Bailey was chaptered because he got over 8 grand in seperation pay. I like how it’s ok for you to suckle at unlce sugars tit but when anybody else does it they are freeloading pieces of shit.

ObamaGirl

You spent over a year at a warrior transition battalion? You really need to give the thai stick fighting stories with wolverine a rest pal.

OldSoldier54

Good thinking, Doc.

Here’s mine.

Your turn lady.

King

Well put OG!

Sporkmaster, learn to fucking write or GTFO.

PintoNag

Doc, Sporkmaster, and all the other regulars on here: you’re wasting your breath and your time. Obamagirl, King, Richter, and whatever else name this legion decides to call itself, don’t care about anything but spreading their poisonous hate as far as they can. If they did wear the uniform, they have divorced themselves from what that uniform stands for. The ones that didn’t are eaten up with envy, and hatred of men better than themselves.

Let them howl in their impotence. They aren’t worth the bandwidth it takes to answer them.

King

Howling in impotence is pretty much what every doucherag on this site does.

And sparky polishing other men’s torpedoes while 20,000 leagues under the sea doesn’t make you worthy of any respect.

Doc Bailey

Suckle Uncle Sam’s Tit. WOW. Ok so not to get too much into detail I had some guys die on me. It was bad. It was gorey. I questioned myself as a medic, as a soldier as a human being because in my mind I LET THEM DIE. It took me a long time to break myself out of that.

(Kids this is also a quick class on Combat Stress/PTSD)

Now with this in mind, I was suffering nightmares, sever depression, and generally medicated like crazy. Now those medications had side effects like oh say sleep walking. Well When I ended up in a buddy’s room with no idea how I got there, things got. . . interesting with the command. Keep in mind that Jan ’09 was the highest number of suicides in the Army. So somehow or another I was flagged as a suicide risk (and theres a rather humorous tale to be told of a news story about a russian man that downed a bottle of Viagra and died of a heart attack after 24 hours strait of sex)

My Bde spinning up for a deployment to OIF ’09-’10 decided to chapter me. for “conditions other than disability”. I tried to fight it but after fighting a med board for a year my heart wasn’t in it. Good news is I will, rather soon, be going into the WVARNG, where I can yet again life the life of danger.

But seeing as I’ve explained my whole life story, and you have yet do more than come up with sketchy stories about a BF who bitched out after coming here, but is also an ODA, and service as an MP which I also think is a bit sketch. . . Proof or GTFO.

I put mine out there What’s your excuse?

OldSoldier54

I hear what you are saying P.N., but I had to call BS. I recognize this crap from the 60’s and 70’s. The ball’s in their court. Put up or go back to occupying Wall Street.

King

Yeah arguing on blogs was all the rage in the 60s and 70s

Doc Bailey

OH and a year in the WTB is actually short. You wait months for appointments, and eventhough you have to have monthly and sometimes weekly apts with a case manager, if you need to see a specialist you’re screwed. I know, well knew an KSARNG soldier that went into terminal Colan cancer because he ad to wait so damn long. I’m not kidding when I say being in a WTB is horrible. They fill you up with drugs, and stick you in a room. . .guys are just messed up, and, yeah its bad. I’d really rather not talk about it.

No guy’s name was Storm. He also taught me some CQB, and basic unarmed comparatives.

I’ve not lied once about anything that’s happened to me. I’ve actually downplayed a lot.

OldSoldier54

Amusing. Did I mention blogs?

OldSoldier54

Doc, that is jacked up. I freakin’ HATE bureaucrats.

NHSparky

I like how it’s ok for you to suckle at unlce sugars tit

Suckle how, exactly? Like you suckle on truck driver’s dicks? I earned every dime I ever made in the Navy, whether base pay, sea pay, sub pay, or SRB.

And sparky polishing other men’s torpedoes while 20,000 leagues under the sea doesn’t make you worthy of any respect.

Spoken like a guy who would be scared shitless to even be seen anywhere near a submarine. Just remember, at test depth, nobody can hear you scream…

You and OG can be summed up in one word: bitter.

Doc Bailey

you know PN. I am sick to fucking death of these dipshits. I will stand my ground. I am fine with debate. I am fine with a little shit talking, but these fucksticks to none of the former and far too much of the latter. King is not some Savant that happens to be a grunt. OG is not a well endowed highly perceptive “truth seeker” they are both Ideologues and trolls. And if I have to point out their wrongness on every issue I’ll freaking do it, so adults can get back to banter/debate.

OldSoldier54

Alas, I’m old and the rack beckons … L8r

Doc Bailey

Sparky I think the uncle Sam’s tit was directed at me. I didn’t ask for the separation pay. It was given. you’ll note that I also had 41 days of Leave accrued.

NHSparky

Fair enough–and I won’t begrudge selling leave back and taking separation pay. I do, however, take major fucking issues with little shitsticks who claim you were chaptered for stealing meds.

OG, for that you owe Doc an apology, but not like we’re going to see one coming from your worthless clam anytime soon.

King

You’re right sparky, I would be scared to death to be on a sub. Just like the thought of working in an S-shop would fill me with dread. I didn’t join the military to be bored. You know what’s really scary. The thought of losing a limb or two and being permanently disabled. When’s the last time that happened to a bubblehead? Maybe there’s an accident and it happens a few times a year? You want to tell me how many combat arms soldiers and marines it happens to. Yeah, a lot fucking more. DocB, it’s a pretty shitty hand you’ve had to deal with. A kid in my platoon popped a teenager one day. We thought he was part of group that was had just launched an attack on us, and he actually probably was. He was about 150 meters away when we opened up on him. This kid Stuart was convinced he was the one who nailed the kid. When we walked up to inspect the body the kid was drawing his last breaths and we realized how young he was. Our medic treated him for a CSW, but we were out on QRF and couldn’t bring him back to our FOB for treatment. An old man came out, we think it was his father or grandfather and we helped put the kid into the back of his car so he could take him to this hospital, but I doubt the kid made it. Stuart went nuts, blamed himself. As if he knew how old the kid was when he pulled that trigger. Afterwards our PSG tried telling him that he shouldn’t feel too bad, because he couldn’t of known, that’s war, and it was just shitty luck. Easier said than done. Stuart took to drinking heavily when we got back and dropped off the radar for a bunch of years. He’s supposedly doing much better. I guess the point of all this is, I doubt that you did anything wrong. You’re probably a good medic who just got stuck with some rotten luck. The Army shouldn’t have… Read more »

@127: There are many. But I would never accept such a thing. I could never sit still knowing “my guys” were out there. It is not simply a Job but a calling, maybe once it would have been, could have been a job, but it became who I am. I can no more divorce myself from that calling than I could rip out my bicuspid valve.

Two quotes sustain me in hard times. The first a little more recently found

In the middle of the journey of our life,
I found myself in a dark wood,
where the strait path had been lost.
-Dante.

Two roads diverged in a wood,
and I, I took the one less traveled,
and that has made all the difference.
-Robert Frost

King

Sorry CSW should’ve been SCW, but you probably figured that out.

Haven’t read Dante, but I like Frost. Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening is probably my favorite. Another good one is Desert Spaces. Check that out if you haven’t already. I’m sure you can relate to it.

Smooth_Operator

Sgt. Shamar L Thomas was an 3051 which is Warehouse Clerk. He’s in the reserves and his phone number is: (removed)

Any smart Marine would know that you never? lie around with the camera’s around. Because there are tons of Marines with Marine Online that can search up the Distro and call your bitch ass out.

Sorry POG, you ain’t no bad ass Marine.

SporkmasterNo personal info such as phone numbers unless the person in question agrees to release it.

StrikeFO

Thanks S_O… I posted that at comment #7 but everyone went off on this crazy tangent and dick measuring contest.

!119 – “I’ve not lied once about anything that’s happened to me. I’ve actually downplayed a lot.”

I don’t know Doc personally, but since he and I were in the same BDE during the Surge, I know where he was, and I know the casualties sustained by 2/16, including a good friend of mine.

I’ll vouch for his shitty times in a shitty place.

Old Trooper

@ #59: Bobogirl; do you even understand that people can go on missions to other countries without being engaged in combat? Have you ever heard of Operation Bright Star? It’s called “training”, many units take part in training in other countries all the time. As such an expert on the military that you are, I’m surprised you didn’t know that. Besides, I had my bona fides verified in person by several Veterans and yet, like another poster on here, who failed to show when challenged, you want to use the same lame ass excuse as he did by saying “I am not going to post mine first because I know mine will be misused if Lilyea gets a hold of it”. You’re full of shit. You talk a good game, but when it’s time to put up, you crawfish and attempt to use any and every excuse you can so that you don’t have to back up your own bullshit. Then, like a good poser, you go after a guy who has much more combat time than you and has seen more shit than you could handle, as though you’re the arbiter of who is worthy of being able to speak on military matters.

Yeah, I’m the Post Commander of my Legion Post, district Vice Commander, department chairman for the Legacy Scholarship Fund, past district assistant director of the Legion Riders, as well as a member of the Patriot Guard. What the fuck have you done, or do, for Veterans, their families, and your community, other than bitch and complain and join a protest against Wall Street?

Thejester

Sorry I went to bed. Doc, I blamed myself for over a year over the RE44 incident. I was the last one to work on aircraft 267. I know how shit plays in your head. My mentor, and several friends were on that aircraft. OG, maybe you need to look shit up before you start calling me a lier. 3rd, king, without aircraft, the modern battlefield is terrible. Supplies, troop movements and dustoff help save lives. How would you like to be shot and bleeding out and know that you won’t live due to having to drive for hours in hostile territory? Stupid poetry reading faggot. I figured you to be more of a Whitman fan. Weird…..you liking straight authors and all. At least you can suck as much Dick as you want to now in uniform. That must be a loss of your shoulders and into your mouth. Spormaster, TANG is good and bad. We will talk sometimes about the goods and bads. BTW, OG and king, go fuck yourselves. YOU haven’t showed ANY proof.

King

I’m not interested in proving myself to a third rate cocksucker like yourself. DocB is the one who brought up poetry in the first place, does your poetry reading faggot line extend to him or is that just something selective you drop against people you don’t like? I rode on a chopper 1 time during my time in the Army, and the only time I saw them being used for a casevac wasn’t in Iraq, it was at NTC on a BLUFOR rotation, and it was part of training. So once again, sincerely Go Fuck Yourself jester, you Top Gun watching faggot.

CRaissi

That looks nothing like a POW medal. It is a NUC.

Here is what I see: NAM, CAR, NUC, GCM, NDM, ICM, GWOTEM, GWOTSM, SSDR.

Seems pretty legit to me, especially when lined up with his story. He would have gotten the GWOTEM for his 2004 deployment to Iraq, and then the ICM for a subsequent deployment (I got mine from a 2005 deployment).

At one point he says, “I’ve been to Iraq 14 months.” That sounds about right to me for two standard six/seven month Marine deployments.

I’m not going to judge the guy based on the MOS listed in MOL. My PMOS during my two deployments was 3043, but if you looked at that and thought I did supply on deployment you’d be wrong.

Now if we’re on the subject of making judgements about who is more hard than whom, I’m going to come out and say that the NYPD officer at 1:20 is probably the least hard person in the video. Yes, I am including the protestor. He looks like he’s pissed that he might be missing his next eyebrow shaping appointment.

Oh wait… He might be in the army.

NHSparky

Again King…you should know about cocksucking and the rating systems involved.

Whenever you want to post up, fucktard.

Army Sergeant

So, about Wall Street?

Adirondack Patriot

This guy needs to get over himself. I love the NYPD’s “Yeah, whatever. . . ” reaction to his theatrical street preaching. Hell, they see guys like this everyday in New York.

As far as his military cred, why does he think wearing his Marine uniform supports the Occupy (Wherever) antics? You can wear the uniform of a Marine, but if you act like a whiny, selfish lunatic, people will only see you as the latter.

He needs to get over himself.

And as far as Obamagirl, did I miss your comments in support protesting when the Tea Party conducted civil and meaningful demonstrations?

If you can, please direct me to those comments in support of the Tea Party’s right to demonstrate (even though you disagree). Thank you.

Dave Thul

Lucky, the Google Docs page is not available.

#139 AS: what about Wall Street? It’s a feint. If these jokers were serious in their complaints, they’d be marching on K Street and their university’s Admin building. Since they are doing neither, this whole alleged movement is not meant to accomplish anything that it has stated is a goal.

And sweet, sweet irony of the day: headline at Hotair: “Celebrated redistributionists discover healthy respect for private property” http://hotair.com/archives/2011/10/18/celebrated-redistributionists-discover-healthy-respect-for-private-property/

Heh!

Thejester

King, you are right. I DO ONLY think you are the faggot here. Sounds like u never deployed if you didn’t see aircraft, skippy. I never saw you suck Dick, but, I know it happened. We didn’t convoy anywhere. We always flew. No ieds in the air. Did they forget to tell Yall that in training? BTW, Jester is my name. It isn’t from top gun. Dumbass. There was a Gov. Jester from TX as well. Retard.

Lthrnck1775

@ Doc… does that DD-214 mean Medic? Just curious, awesome if so.

@ OldSoldier… sweet Wpns Co? AND Ft. Dix! (NJ guy here..) and yeah, you are old…hahaha

Lthrnck1775 (2537 Radio Chief)

Old Trooper

King in #98: Fuck you. I was combat aviation and without my birds (attack helicopters) covering the infantry, there would be a lot more casualties. Go ahead, you mealy mouthed fuckstain, pump up your chest, stick you dick out, and shit on the honorable service of others, because everyone knows that sooper trooper King is on his way to save the day because he’s a “real soldier”. What a punk ass bitch.

Lthrnck1775

@ OldTrooper

…. I can assure you, any groundpounder would LOVE him some TAR/HR air sppt. (preferably USMC, but we’d take anything)
hahaha

Lthrnck1775

Old Trooper

@ #147: Yeah, I know the grunts appreciated the air support; unfortunately, someone like King thinks that only the infantry fights a war.

BTW I did my basic at Ft. Dix as well. C-3-5, Cobra Charlie

Lthrnck1775

…but you guys got the cool shades, … and a bunk, and cold beer nightly (part of the Union contract, right)? 🙂

Lthrnck1775

Old Trooper

“but you guys got the cool shades, … and a bunk, and cold beer nightly (part of the Union contract, right)?

Lthrnck1775”

Um, that would be negative, Ghostrider. We were combat aviation, so no bunks, no cool shades, no beer, and no females. We were in the field right next to the infantry and armor, instead of in the rear with the gear. But I’m sure things have changed some since the old RDF days.
