He ought to be sent to Ft Benning and forced to walk through a gauntlet of real life US Army Rangers while wearing that uniform. After that, make him do the same in a gauntlet of SF Troops after he heals from his wall to wall “Ranger Counseling”!

@50 I’ve seen GO’s with less fruit salad. That doesn’t mean I haven’t seen real E-5 and E-6 wearing EARNED 6 stacks or better. But this guy’s age, experience and all the shit on “that” uniform (because it is not his to wear) says POS, PHIL Monkress (Google hit) wannabee poser. I keep forgetting point number one, The Army says he’s not one of us so he shouldn’t even be in any US uniform! These guys that steal valor can’t do it lightly, they have to go all the way to a DSC, SF, Ranger, etc, etc. Never fails. Like I have said before you never see a poser who says I was a cook but I earned this CIB or CAB. They always have to take it to the ‘nth degree. And you are right with all the phoney experience why not make himself a phoney LTC or COL?

@ex-ph, Krav maga is an israeli martial art designed for their military. its purpose is to terminate the threat is the quickest way possible, sometimes that means gain distance and open fire i suppose.
@ Hondo, your joint op idea wouldnt work, Rangers out number Sf by a rather substantial margin. so, either the SFers would have to spend more time per person beating on him, (which just isnt fair to the Rangers) or he would end up really lop sided by the end of the gauntlet and he wouldnt be properly, and evenly, beaten.
Did he take down his website? Fortunately, it still exists in the cached form. For what it’s worth, there is no Starsevic, retired, IRR or otherwise, in AKO.
On the cached site, has anyone looked to see if his US partners are legit? They have a guy named Joseph Anthony Alvarez claiming the below info. He is not on AKO, although there was a PFC with the same name who passed away and has no connection to these guys. The Krav Maga associate apparently has a typo (“U.A. Army”), so attention to detail is not their strong suit. Although oftentimes phonies bring down their legitimate associates who believe the fallacies, other times phonies travel in packs, so thought I’d raise the question.

@16 My Mom told me that after the Army switched from pinks and greens to ODs after WWII they donated the old uniforms to the Greek Army. If he’s Greek it could be that he assumed history repeats now that the Army has switched from greens to blues.
@36 DA Civilians in Germany used to wear uniforms with the triangle US patch, even the ladies running the libraries and service clubs during my first tour in the early sixties. After the war the CIC involved in policing black market activities (among other things) never wore rank leaving even Americans guessing what actually rank a guy had. Not sure what the CID does these days, but as recent as Viet Nam in the late 60s I ran into a couple that only wore US insignia on their jungle fatigues. I’m guessing they were WOs, but who knows.

I’ll never understand how someone can buy a uniform that fits and not spend the 10 minutes on the internet to get it reasonably right.
I looked at the top photo – the one with all the bling – a little more closely, because something doesn’t look quite right.
The flag in the picture is lit from above and slightly left. There is no shadowing on the left side of his face, nothing under his nose, and nearly no shadowing at all under his chin and jaw.
There is also no shadow on the flag behind him, and he is lit almost entirely full front, the way a flash shot looks. It’s very flat lighting, doesn’t match the lighting on the flag at all.
The two images don’t match, so he’s either photo-shopped himself in front a US flag, which might explain the seeming lack of detail, or it’s a poster of some kind but with no shadow from him on the flag image, I’d guess it’s photoshopped over an image of the flag.
There’s another thing: he claims 30+ years of doing whatever it is he’s been doing.
He looks to be around 40. That means he started on this career path when he was less than 10 years old.
What an ambitious little fellow he must have been! His daddy must have been SO PROUD of him.

No Tab, doesnt count. i assume when everyone else references SFers, they mean actual long tabs. if someone tells me they are SF, and are actually SF support, id stick my boot up their ass so far the water on my knee would quench their thirst. comparing number of tabs, SF is near the bottom of the pile.

@Andy, it is photoshopped. I enlarged it. The head is less in focus than the body. The lighting on the image of the head is flat and full front, whereas the lighting on the jacket, arms and shoulders is from the rear. The skintone on the face is pinkish, but on the hands and neck, it’s tan and slightly darker by comparison.
It’s just minor things that most people don’t notice, but it is there if you look closely enough.
If anyone is confused by what I said about lighting angles in #74 above, sorry.
It’s this way: The lighting on the flag, as you look at the hoto, is from YOUR left, which is the RIGHT side of the flag.
The lighting on his face, as you look at the photo, is flat and full front. The lighting is absent from the RIGHT side of HIS face, and there is no shadow on the LEFT side of HIS face in the picture. There should be a slight shadow on HIS left side and under his nose, and there is nothing.
If I confused anyone, I hope this makes it more clear.

In our defence we cant tell what a real US Army Uniform looks like cause we havent served in that Army.
Long story short he is good in Krav Maga and was never talking bout his service time cause everything was “Top Secret” we eventually found out he is a fraud when we went for dinner one night after class and thats whwn he told us that his standart rifle was a HK416 in 7,62????
and his service pistol was a Whalter PPK in 45 ACP???
