My preference as far as Triumphs are concerned is the TR-6 or even a TR-4A with the independent rear suspension or a 250,the 250,s in England were fuel injected which would be the preferred model, but here in the USA they were carbureted with twin side draughts.
My 1st British roadster was a 59 Austin Heally 100-6 I bought for $850 back in 1971, fixed it up a bit and then sold it for $1500 in 1973, wish I still had that one, I see them going for unrestored in the 5 figure range these days also had a couple of MGB’s , I liked the GT version more than the tourer I’ve also worked on an MGA ground up full restoration with a buddy and had a squadron commander who found out about my talent and had a 53 MGTF I worked on regularly back in 1974-77

He was not argumentative, but explained calling him was not the avenue to take. He said anyone interested should call the guy personally. He then said he had seen a copy of the DD 214 in question, to which I responded these days false DD 214’s are all around. This was after I pointed out the TAH web site and the fact that there is a letter from the Dept. of the Air Force stating this POSER POS never served in the Air Force. Scott’s response was that letter could well be a fake and that he believed the entire story on TAH was all fake.
I finished the call by telling Scott I’d let Jonn know what he said.
IMHO, good liars are hard to come by these days.
If the GOOD LIAR is making you money, absolutely defend him until the day he ends up going to jail.
My final comment was to offer him a bet that this POS would end up being exposed as a liar who had never served in the military as he claimed. Give him credit…he did not take that bet.

If he used fake vet status to get a job, that pisses me off. I never was asked nor did I volunteer the info because it was about the job, nothing else. Employers are being encouraged to hire vets and people like this displace real vets who need those jobs.

I remember this guy. He used to live near me when he was stationed with his wife…yea I always felt I could never really trust him. Looks like all my suspicions have been comfirmed. It’s sad though.
