Equal Opportunity scammers
Mary sends us a scam that targets guys who fall in love with women in uniform. This woman, Bethke Shelton (not her real name, of course, we don’t usually put our first names on our name tapes) lures guys in to her web with the standard love talk and then tries to get them to pay a “processing fee” that will enable her to go on leave so the love birds can entwine. So here’s the “official email” that one guy got from Ms. Shelton;

Soldiers whose photos were hijacked for mis-use by these scumbags should file criminal complaints with the pertinent federal and state law enforcement agencies for due investigation and prosecution. I remember the female poser Belladonna Rodriguez who hijacked the photo of SSG Gina Gray and pretended to be her. I hope SSG Gray is pushing law enforcement/presecutors to arrest and prosecute Belladonna to the fullest extent of the law.

Do people still fall for this shit? I get about 10 Nigerian princes,princesses etc. in my spam filter a day. They are always looking to deposit multiple millions of dollars in my bank account if I’ll just send them some money, my account number and ABA number. Jeesh.

I know a fellow who fell for that scam. Used to work at the grocery chain where my wife does. He refused to believe all the people who were telling him it was a scam, and ended up losing over $5K, wiping out his savings, and selling some of his stuff to gain more money.
He ended up quitting the store in embarrassment when the light bulb finally went off and he realized he’d been scammed. Last I saw he was still in the area.
I’d rather stick my doo-dads in a paper shredder and go around the rest of my life as a soprano then diddle that Buffarilla.
That she used Her real name in the scam to recieve the money speaks volumes about her IQ.

Amazingly, there is a Rose Gadson listed in the White Pages for Eutawville, SC. I thought it strange that the address listed neither PO Box nor street but the place is home to about 600 people (and one zeppelin, evidently), so I guess her mailman knows where she’s docked.
From my dealings with SLED, they will do nothing, and instead go after anyone reporting her as a scammer. Better off reporting her to Bigfoot and the Tooth Fairy. At least they have a possibility of investigating.
A scammer that commits wire fraud and posts their real name and address? Impressive.
A lady in our fair village went to prison over the Nigerian Scam. She sent some $300,000 dollars to Nigeria so she could get 25 million in return. Stupid right? The problem was that the money was taken from escrow accounts at her escrow firm. Her thefts left a lot of people in the lurch, it bankrupted at least one contractor. Proof that one is born every minute.

Those were my pictures she stole and I am working on having it taken care of as soon as possible. I have reported her to FB, contacted all of the people on her friend list and informed them, and I will be getting help to nail her butt tomorrow. I am livid right now.
