Jane Fonda’s “Unforgivable Mistake”
Someone dropped off a link to our Facebook page to an idiot on another idiot’s TV show. Apparently, Jane Fonda thinks that she can still make up for what she did in Vietnam in 1972 when she supplied the North Vietnamese with some valuable propaganda footage of her visit there. Now, her story is that she was tired and didn’t realize what she was doing when she sat on the anti-aircraft gun and posed smiling and laughing with the NVA soldiers. She hints that she may have been “set up” – whatever that means. Then when she was walking away from the publicity photos she gasped “What did I do?” Yeah, I believe that story just like all of the other crap she’s said in the past.
She calls it an “unforgivable mistake” and, ya know what? I don’t know anyone who has forgiven her, so she gets her wish. Obviously, she’s trying to be forgiven for those things she did so long ago, but if it’s “unforgivable”, I guess we can’t.
In the 4 minute video linked above, she claims that she met some Vietnam veterans in 1988 and they talked about their feelings and she came away with a whole new perspective. I don’t know if they joined hands and sang Kum-Bay-Yah or not, but it sounds from the interview they almost reached that point. From News Max;
“What I learned,” she said, “we have to listen to each other, even when we don’t agree, even when we think we hate each other. We have to listen to each other’s narratives, not interrupt defensively or with hostility, but really try to open our hearts and listen with empathy.”
Yeah, well, it’s just too damn bad that she didn’t learn that 40 years ago. I don’t believe her lyin’ talkin’ ass anyway. In 2009, we caught her raising money for IVAW. We caught her hosting “upside down ribbons” Marine Captain Marlissa Grogan while Grogan perpetuated the myth that the troops are a bunch of criminals who have no choice but go to war.
Yeah, that was all four years ago, but does anyone really believe that Hanoi Jane has changed since then? After all of these decades? The lesson here, kids, is that if you don’t want something to follow you around for the rest of your life, think before you act. It’s only fun today, if it’ll still be fun for you tomorrow.
The 4-minute video is at the first link above, but I won’t think any less of you if you don’t watch it. I only did it because about 1% of you click the ads.

Fark her. ALWAYS Fark her. Forever Fark her. Burn in Hell and I Hope You Die Soon, Fark Her.
“We [WHO?] have to listen [NO, I DON’T!] to each other’s narratives [GO TO HELL!], not interrupt [WHAT?] defensively [THIS IS PURELY OFFENSIVE]or with hostility [F—YOU!], but really try to open our hearts [F—YOU!] and listen [F— YOU!] with [F—YOU!] empathy [AND F—YOU!].”
There. Empathize with that, Barbarella.
you stole the words right out of my mouth Chip. I was in the Navy when that photo came out, couldn’t believe that Henry’s little girl was such a traitor.
I could have put it down to a brainless little rich girl doing something stupid, IF she had done a 180 degree turn about 30 years ago. But now? No. Now I just think her conscience is paining her, like a rotted tooth.
No movies with her in it are allowed the cross the threshold of my home.
For those of you too young to know the extent of Hanoi Jane’s traitorous actions, here’s a link to 1stCavMedic that does a great job of laying it all out, including a transript of her radio broadcast. Some weeks ago, someone here at TAH was objecting to not watching certain actors because of their personal politics. Well, here’s one I have NEVER watched since her little propoganda trip.

Dear Jane,
My father was in the Air Force during Vietnam. He flew KC-135s. He was shot at by anti-aircraft guns on a few occasions. Guess what you can do with your empathy and peaceful dialog?
That Bitch just needs to die! Doesn’t matter how, She just needs vaporized !
My dad protested the Vietnam war and was in the March on the Pentagon and even he thinks Jane Fonda should be executed for treason.
Hanoi Jane…SheWolf of the NVA AAA Corps!
@9 She’s 75 now. It’s coming, riding a pale horse. Just watch.
#11 was for Scotty at #8. Sorry.
Not getting enough attention, eh, Janey, you senile old cow?
I think she should consider having surgery… get her mouth sewn shut.
Gacck!
She would like the world to believe that she was young and made a mistake. Don’t buy it. It’s the revisionist history bullshit. First, she was 34 years old (!) when she took her little trip. Second, it wasn’t a single mistake. She spent years in the anti-war, pro-commie movement of the time. The trip to Hanoi was merely the natural culmination of her efforts. Okay, I’m done.
Coincidence, I just had a conversation with someone who was unaware of the full story of her treason. Fonda is pathetic.
Speaking of Vietnam, for anyone unaware: Rest in Peace, Col Purcell: http://www.accessnorthga.com/detail.php?n=260064
I do believe that she has said her biggest mistake in life was not sleeping with douChe…
Jane Fawkin’ Fonda is cut from the same material as Jawh Fawkin’ Kerry, as far as I’m concerned.
I’ve gone around since the first time someone posted that link that 2/17 Air Cav put in there, and ended up (kid you not) in her blog where she said all vets already forgiven her and everyone should chill out.
Amazingly enough there are couple of books (I was just clicking around but I bet if I start clicking around again I’ll find them for sure) where even one dude says on the book that her help gave them the strength to keep the fight going, and she doesn’t understand how many lives and blood she has on her hands?? well of course not, it’s a normal defense mechanism because if she did accept that fact she would not have the face to show up in public.
She says she was naive, but with the public light comes responsibility, she should have known “better” (honestly and personally I’m sure she KNEW what was going on, she just didn’t care because she wanted to “stick it to the man”)
Hopefully one day history and facts will prevail over media and diet fads and ppl realize what a POG she is for not even acknowledging her role.
And while I cannot but feel some rage in my stomach I’d let you with her “recount” of what happened
http://janefonda.com/the-truth-about-my-trip-to-hanoi/
*I’m just lost for words on that blogpost* so you guys come with some mine would be absolutely censored…
Found it .. While I really don’t know about the website credibility this is the webpage where i read about the vietnamese intelligence contact
http://www.washingtondecoded.com/site/2011/08/fonda.html
And while I’m about to rage I’ll leave you with this intense amazing story of her being forgiven for all the crap she did .. no .. really! REALLY!
http://janefonda.com/forgiveness/
Excuse me while I go rage throw up …
I will consider forgiving her sometime after her execution for treason. Until then, she can ESAD.
She’s 75. She isn’t getting enough attention. That’s all she wants. Don’t give it to her.
Joan Baez was the only one I can recall ever coming close to admitting she might have been wrong. Baez evidently tried to bring Fonda on board (I hadn’t know about that part), but Fonda declined. Now it’s kind of late in the game, as far as I’m concerned. What’s the matter, is she now having trouble sleeping at night?

No, the biggest mistake she ever made was taking her first breath too soon before her last.
Lots of old people have some regrets near the end….most of the time those regrets are based around spending too much time at work, and not nearly enough time taking care of family.
Jane’s regrets are more profound, and thus she is compelled to keep seeking forgiveness. Her moment of judgment will come, as it does for all us. She is more than aware she will be measured and found wanting. That’s her fear, it’s too bad that consideration didn’t matter in any way prior to making the “unforgivable mistake”.
She will die regretting that moment, and her legacy will be that of a woman who committed a truly dishonorable act that could not be cleansed from her black soul.
Jane, I’m going to pass along something a friend told me once. Hopefully it will strike a cord for you.
“You’re sorry?! ‘Sorry’ doesn’t cut it.”
old jane not worth the wast of ammo.
“Jane… you ignorant slut.”
Jane Fonda is perhaps one of the worst Americans ever to walk this land. She is hated not only because of what she did back then but because of her continuing lack of remorse for it. As recently as March 17, 2007 she joined the shehag et al to continue her disrespect for all of us and for this country. She has more than earned our disgust.
Jane (or the Hanoi Whore, as some still call her), after you admit to your crimes, divide your considerable wealth among organizations such as the VFW, AmVets, the AL, and such, demand that you be prosecuted and imprisoned/executed for your crimes and after sentancing fall prostrate begging for forgiveness not from us but from your maker, then and only then will I consider forgiving you myself.
And it better be real contrition, bitch.
Loved going into the mens room at the VFW and seeing her face staring up from inside the urinal.
At #29. The pic with a target is still in the urinal at some of the Legion Posts here. Helps with aiming.
The Hanoi Ho just never gets it, never got it, and never will.
Was never an ounce of remorse in her bones, ever.
Her public acts of “contrition” were timed based on her business needs, such as selling exercise videos, publicizing a book, whatever.
My favorite quote about “Hanoi Jane” is one I saw on a patch on a Vietnam Vet Biker’s vest. It said “I’ll forgive Jane Fonda when the Jews forgive Hitler.”.
My sentiments exactly. I remember reading about her announcement that she was going to go on an anti war speaking tour when I was in A-Stan, which she later backed out of. To me, it looked like she wanted to make another generation of Vets hate her as well!
Come on everyone get over it already. She did not commit treason. It has been over 40years. Let’s move on.
Jan Fonda, she’s a rhymes with Alan Funt……
@33 Michelle, you’re smacking your bubble gum in the wrong hallway. Get lost.
Better watch your step, her friends are running the country now,,, and no, not talking about Vietnam.
@36 Running the country right into the ground, you mean.
When I was in Iraq a bunch of us had a patch that said “fuck Jane Fonda, bring them home or send us back”.
Get over what, Michelle? I got over her a very long time ago. She is the one who continues to insinuate herself into the lives of those she betrayed.
And what makes you assume that anyone here gives a rip about your opinion? Hilarious!
I’m amazed that someone comes to a blog that is full of veterans to defend Jane Fonda. Michelle, do you also go to the NAACP website and defend the Klan?
Some day, the bitch will die and no one will remember anything she said or did.
If anyone does remember now, it’s because she’s so desperate for attention that she has to remind us she’s still here.
Too little, too late.
Fuck that C*NT!!!!!
@33. “Let’s move on.” Who are the “us” in let’s? And is that “move on” as in MoveOn.Org? And while you are doling out advice, how exactly does that forgive and forget timeline of yours work? Does it apply to everyone after a certain number of years pass? If so, how many years, or does the number vary, depending upon the offense?
@29,,i piss on her urinal target everyday at my VFW!!
Bottle fine scotch awaiting news of what I hope will be an agonizing demise. Already knocked one off with Murtha, Kerry also has one waiting.
Hey #33, You might want to get you shit together and come alive. Its people like you that don’t know up from down. Last year Charlie Rose had this bitch on his show for (1) one full hour allowing her to explain what took place while she was over there in Nam, and as smart as Charlie Rose is he took all of her bullshit in like nothing ever happen, so Michelle Playter, who ever the hell you are, come to Iowa sometime and look me up and I’ll take you up to one of my neighbors house and let you tell Mrs. Dugan and her family to get ove it, I bet you won’t make it to the next corner, and before I close I have a few words for you, DROP DEAD
Stupid cunt. Shut up and sing, bitch.
@Sam Naomi, I have no doubt that that was some jello-spined liberal excuse of a male posting under a girl’s name!
@48 – Either that or some kid who’s been told how special he/she is all its life and has never contributed a damn thing to society.
…probably doesn’t even know when the war started or where it was even fought, for that matter.
Soon as she kicks we’ll pay our respects ON her gravesite.
First keg’s on me.
