Audio snippets of Joe Biden’s interview with Robert Hur’s team released

| May 17, 2025 | 59 Comments

Audio snippets of the interaction between Joe Biden and Robert Hur’s team have been released. Conservative suspicions of Biden’s cognitive decline were substantiated by the audios. Biden appeared to have difficulties recalling specific information, or with smoothly communicating his responses. In a partial transcript shown on Axios, the ticking clock filled in the gaps between Biden’s words.

From CBS News:

Snippets from a 2023 interview that led Justice Department special counsel Robert Hur to describe former President Joe Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory” were obtained and published by Axios Friday, showing Biden’s halting tone of voice and difficulty remembering dates.

CBS News has confirmed the audio matches the transcript of the interview released by the Biden White House in 2024.

In one four-minute clip, Biden was asked by Hur’s team — which was investigating Biden’s handling of classified records — about where he kept his documents shortly after leaving office as vice president. Biden’s response is marked by long pauses, and his voice appears hoarse at times. His speech is especially halting as he describes the period around his son Beau’s death.

In the audio obtained by news outlet Axios, Biden can also be heard struggling to remember the year when Beau died or the year when President Trump was first elected. Members of his staff can be heard correcting him or reminding him of the date.

A written transcript of the five-hour interview was released last year, but portions of the audio released Friday provide context on Biden’s demeanor and memory problems at certain points in the session.

Just so we are clear about a few things for those born yesterday, all the things he did are also tells for lying.

And that’s when he’s lucid…

He berated Hur on TV for asking about Beau. Come to find out Biden brought up the topic by trying to deflect from the documents when asked about them. Hur never brought up the subject of his son that did not die in combat.

I mean if there were ever, and I mean ever any doubts about the media culpability, they should well be dispelled now. The funny part is they are going to keep pretending they didn’t know anything. The problem is just like a man wearing a dress calling himself a woman. Nobody believes that, not even them.

rgr769

I think you meant “him,” instead of “them.” Unless you are doing the new pronouns of calling singular persons them cuz you don’t know their gender delusion.

timactual

There you go, trying to force that oppressive so-called “standard English” on others in an attempt to stifle their creativity and individuality, attempting to mold the people into robotic, compliant drones serving the Capitalist (ptui!) patriarchy. Shame!

rgr769

Yup. In fact, I follow the Strunk & White little book of “The Elements of Style.” In crafting appellate court briefs, one is expected to use recognized English writing conventions. If one writes such documents like he or she has an 85 IQ and a deficient education, it does not bode well for his or her client. (Notice I did not use the they/them pronouns for such hypothetical persons.)

Nucsnipe

Are you saying ” He dint do nuthin” isn’t a compelling legal argument?😁

timactual

Unfortunately, it does seem to be compelling to the type of judge who seem unable to define “woman”.

5JC

Them refers to the media

rgr769

The audio I heard last night also confirms it. He brought up the death of Beau in a non-responsive answer to a question about when he noticed he had classified documents long before he was elected president in 2020, when he had no right as a private citizen to be possessing any classified documents. VP’s do not have classification authority or a right to “presidential records.”

C’mon, man, Beau died at Normandy, raising the Flag on San Juan Hill with Carlos Hathcock, there in Iraq– don’t ya know! /sarc

The senile, angry old SOB apparently still believes his son died of burn pit caused brain cancer while he was still serving in Iraq. For someone who is “sharp as a tack” as the news whores have repeated as a mantra, he certainly is confused about the worst thing that ever happened to him, i.e., the death of Beau. As we all know, Beau died about two years after his service in a HQ in Iraq. He died of the most common aggressive brain cancer, a glioblastoma. There is no evidence this tumor can be caused by toxic fumes.

Moreover, I find it difficult to believe an O-4 JAG officer spent any time hanging around a burn pit. In my day, in the Viet of the Nam, that would be like saying the brigade or a division major JAG officer spent time surveilling the shit-burners for the base camp’s latrines.

timactual

He was, and probably still is, using his son to advance his own political career, and he tried his best to make Beau look more heroic.

rgr769

I think he has told so many lies so frequently, his addled brain has started to believe many of them.

Hate_me

Memory is fluid – we don’t remember the memory in-the-moment every time we relate such; we remember the last version we recalled. We fill in those gaps that have either been forgotten or never known, and that new version becomes the memory.

Slow Joe

Exactly!
This is why I don’t believe any UFO/ UAP “credible witness” or “trained observers”.

How can you be a trained observer on something we have never seen up close or have a data sheet on it to evaluate it’s capabilities?

I will read this lying, grifting, perverted POS’s obit with the greatest of pleasure.

Full disclosure…his handlers should be jailed for elder abuse.

Too bad we won’t likely be able to give him the Jane Fonda send-off at the cemetery. They will prolly bury him in Arlington with full honors. But I am hoping Delaware wants his carcass.

timactual

Delaware, a place that nobody remembers, is a good place for him and his Presidential Library.

I’ve never pissed on a grave in Arlington, before.

Can we start a fund to bail me out, should Brandon ever be interred there?

I would join you, but I don’t stand in long lines any more.

Well, it’s coming up sooner than everyone thought… Joe’s got ragin’ prostate cancer and it’s metastasized to his bones:

Jill has to be celebrating.. this will save her from having to smother him with a pillow.. never figured she’d let him live more than a year.. now that he can’t supply the lifestyle she’s accustomed to, he’s just a liability to her..

It’s gonna be hard for him to earn his “10% for the Big Guy.” When you are peddling influence, you are effectively out of business when you have no government influence any more.

I am friends with a wealthy gay couple. They kept a 1987 bottle of Lafitte reserved in order to toast President Reagan’s death because they felt he didn’t do enough to champion gay rights. While I supported their right to an opinion, I opposed the ghoulishness of the concept.

When that great man finally ascended into heaven, I declined their invite. I would have loved to taste that wine.

Now, however, I have two half-bottles of Chateau D’Yquem each waiting for the deaths of both Joe Brandon and Barry Obama. Whenever either kicks off into the eternal pit, I hope my gay friends will accept both my invite and my apology for my moral indignation.

5JC

I was yelling that for four years. It was obvious from day 1 he wasn’t fit enough to serve.

HT3

This is 100% proof positive that everything, and I mean EVERYTHING done by the Biden Regime should be null and void. He was NEVER in control and any all appointments done in his name lack an Executive Authority.

Its funny how all the Industrial Media Complex talking heads are writing books and blaming everybody but themselves because the White House “hid Biden’s decline”. Really? Anybody who’s honest will tell they saw a old man losing his marbles back in 2019.

Hate_me

Nonsense. He was a bad politician from day one through his last day in the Oval Office.

If anything, his mental collapse was a godsend.

Fyrfighter

C’mon Commissar, defend this shit! Tell us how this was not subverting the will of the people. Tell us how those responsible should not go to jail…

If you want to conjure him up, you have to cite his name three times, like Beetlejuice.

Democrats all happily lined up in lockstep to defend this brain-dead grifter and now they’re all happily lined up in lockstep screaming that the white house lied. They’re all complicit. Obama got his third term. Joe was more efficient than a cellphone and a pen.

Now I’m embarrassed. I wrote a letter of apology to Joe Scarborough for not believing this was the best Biden ever.

Hack Stone

Well then, eff you.

Hack Stone

Well, to be fair, what Joe Scarborough said was that this was the best Joe Biden ever. Technically, that could be true. Joe Biden was never firing on all cylinders when he was a Senator or Vice President.

Don’t have anything nice to say. Interesting this is coming out only a few months after leaving office, and the release of the Hur tapes. The obvious question is how long has the Bite-Me Admin been keeping this under wraps? Orangeman was hounded relentlessly about his health & cognitive ability.
