Glad the hostage was unscathed- that’s some great shooting! Thanks, Gun Bunny.

I received a package in the mail from Uncle Sam that was not requested. Most of them are correct some I have never seen before. Now I want to see my last DD-214 update.

I’d say, for now, keep them all unopened in the box. Someone may realize, “oops. Uhhh, say, we’d like those back now. Our bad.”

Yep, Jax shorely went to Hell in a Handbasket when our Beloved AW1Ed weighed anchor and got the hell outa there. Maybe he shoulda brought the flag and turned out the lights when he left. “Showing a gun” never works as well as “firing a gun”.

BZ to The Buckeye Boys for taking out the trash.

Welp, I thought with yesterday’s gun pr0n we’d be seeing mouse guns or pingers. Alas, we may be subjected to a slew of plasticized abominations this week. *sigh*

I was an early adopter of the Glock pistol and have to say the ones I bought and used never gave me any issues. I have lost a lot of my enthusiasm for the brand due to a decided lack of innovation and evolution of the marque.

One thing I have done though is to take my gen 2 G23 and bought some additions to change it. I got an extra slide and barrel for 9mm, turning it into a G19 for far less than buying a new pistol. I also got a conversion kit from Advantage Arms that allows me to shoot 22 LR in the same frame, also for less than the G44 would have cost. Extra mags are available from the manufacturer and I have been using it for competition. Much cheaper ammo cost that way.
