Someone sent us their work on this Shaun Wisemore fellow who operates a business in Texas, Tactical Defense Shooting. Of course, because of the nature of his business, he needed to demonstrate some kind of military expertise, so this is what his website used to say about his experience;

Well, he got the word that we were coming for him, so he altered the website;
It’s still wrong, though. Here’s what the Army says about his career;
He had two years of service – it looks like he was injured in training for his military occupational specialty (MOS) 14S – an Avenger crewman. Air Defense Artillery, not Infantry, not Ranger, not “higher units”. The Separation Code indicates that he was disabled somehow and his last assignment was a Medical Hold Company, it looks like he was injured during his training to be an Avenger crewman, because the DD214 says that he has no time working in his MOS.
It’s probably not his fault that he wasn’t able to complete his military service, but it is his fault that he tried to deceive people into thinking that they were being trained by someone who had experience at the practical application of the training he was providing.

Full disclosure: I took some training with Wisemore’s company. I’m a better person for it, so I CHOOSE not to think that I got less than professional instruction least I cheapen my experiences.

What on God’s green MFing earth are they doing? If I were with a shooting instructor who was explain the training evolution as “when you move past me and are between me and the targets, I am going to fire at the target and past you” I’d start packing my stuff up right there.
I’m also wondering about the tactical prowess of someone who trains people to run down a wide open road to move between covered and concealed positions instead of moving THROUGH THE TREELINE to get to the OBJ.
WTF! Was the first impression I had when I saw that video. Some guy, running without a battle buddy, or without a group of battle buddies, without tactically moving towards the objective, in the middle of the kill zone, to hide behind a barrel also in the kill zone, then to take a knee and shoot within the kill zone, when he could’ve conserved his energy and moved quietly through the woods, tactically and with battle buddies, in order to hopefully catch the “targets” by “surprise”.
It also looked like the targets would’ve had cover and concealment from which to kill him and his retarded instructor had this been a real world scenario.
Running with weights was retarded in this exercise, as that’s something that you have to build into and sustain via an ongoing PT program that you could beef up into a PT event that incorporates battlefield movement problems, prior to doing STX and FTX out in the lanes.
The emphasis should’ve focused on basics and worked up so that the basics could be incorporated with the later training.
But again, Shaun Wisemore, Google hit, only had Basic Combat Training/One Station Unit Training, during a period preceding the War on Terror… An event that was going to lead to a bunch of changes incorporating lessons learned from GWOT into BST/OSUT since Shaun Wisemore left the military.
It must pain the Wisemore family that the sap in their family tree isn’t living up to their family name. 🙄

Huge thanks to Brandon F on here who showed me who Shaun truly was. I am the other guy in most of the videos with Shaun and ran his school for the past 7 months. Full disclosure…I was never LE or MIL and have never claimed to be. Just a regular civilian who enjoys training and firearms. I was looking for an opportunity to get in the firearms business someway which is how I got hooked up with Shaun. I took him for face value and did question him from time to time since some of the stuff he said and did made no sense at all. Wherein he would throw out some “its classified..or, I don’t like to talk about my past” BS. I didn’t really press the issue until this information came out in which I have completely separated myself from him. I have notified all former students and contacts to his true colors in the hopes that nobody will get duped again. You guys got to him bad in which he took down the FB page and let the website expire. I was the one who took down the youtube videos since I was the one making them and didn’t want any type of association with him anymore. He was the one who deleted the comments. and yes, he did in fact make money off of stolen valor.
Thanks to you all for ratting this guy out and exposing him. You Vets already deal with enough shit as it is.
