Ciro Angel Ardon-Rivas; phony recruiter

| August 10, 2015

Ciro Cyrus Angel Ardon-Rivas1

This one comes from our friends at Guardian of Valor. Ciro Angel Ardon Rivas from Barstow, CA, pretended to be an Army Captain in a scam for one his friends to defraud his friend’s grandmother and mother of $13,000. He convinced the grandmother that for that princely sum, she could help her grandson enlist in the Army. So they paid up, but then called the police after they checked with real recruiters.

Police said the trio divided the $13,000 between them. The victim’s son used his $3,500 share to buy clothes, his teenage friend took the lion’s share of $8,000 used it to buy a 2003 Nissan 350z, the Nissan was located and seized as evidence. They were arrested and booked on the above charges, Ardon Rivas was being held at High Desert Detention Center, in lieu of $35,000 bail.

I don’t know why these victims don’t check on these phonies BEFORE they pay up. According to GoV, Ardon-Rivas pleaded not guilty in court on Friday. GoV says that the Army denies that Ardon-Rivas ever served.

Yeah, the photo of this douchecunt just screams “OFFICIAL U.S. ARMY RECRUITER” all the way up and down…

Brown Neck Gaitor

Just another example proving my theory on mental issues tying in with SV. Reading his Facebook feed:

Quits college last year
Can’t pass the ASVAB since last year to go AF. Here is a wacky idea, put down the bong and study for the parts that you can!

Recruiter: got any arrests?
Cyrus: just this one felony for, well…

Recruiter: . All services, get in here, this is a good one…

Eric

From what I can tell, he’s wearing a medical service corps branch insignia (enlisted) above his us army tape. and no name tape.

Strange to think why she would need to pay money to get someone into the Army. Unless he’s here illegally, or has done some significant time in the pen? Or both. I could go for any of those options really.

I’ll never forget my recruiter. 1972,Vietnam still going strong. Me with a low draft number. An Army Recruiter called me up after I received my draft notice to congratulate me on passing my pre-induction physical. I was not a “happy camper.”

26-years later I retired. Well……..

Roger in Republic

He sure screwed you, didn’t he?

Silentium Est Aureum

Yeah, recruiting was highly sought after because of all the cash the bag-toters got.

Oh wait, that was National Guard. My bad.

Friend S. Wilkins

“You look like the vermin’ bitten son of a bitch you are.”

Friend S. Wilkins

correction: “You look like the vermin-ridden son of a bitch you are.”

Hayabusa

There’s gotta be a special place in Hell for someone who would steal money from his own mother and grandmother. What the hell is wrong with people these days.

Silentium Est Aureum

But on the bright side, Gov. Moonbeam just signed a law stating that if sentenced to any CA state pen, any time that you’ve lived in Barstow, Yermo, Needles, or Ridgecrest is automatically deducted from the sentence.

So maybe he’ll get lucky. OTOH, even after prison, he’s still looking at living in Barstow.

CLAW131

I think time lived in Calico and Daggett should also be deducted from the sentence.

CAARNG 68W

Bahahahahahahahaha!

Silentium, ya gotta be a resident of The Glorious People’s Republic of California; am I right?

11B-Mailclerk

Does Fort Irwin count as equivalent to “Barstow”?

Ex-PH2

Stole from his own grandmother, did he?

Where is he? I’ll be quite happy to nail his hide to the police station’s restroom door.

Just an Old Dog

It looks like the phony helped one of his buddies steal from THEIR mother and Grandmother.

I’m sure that Bubba & Thor will have and for his butt before he even gets his cell assignment and they’ll want to be first to straighten is a** out, knowhutimean?

David

used to be people sometimes reversed the negatives from film – what did this clown do, a selfie in a mirror?

Jarhead

I wondered if anyone else caught that. Otherwise, it read YMRA S.U. which could only stand for Young Men’s Ripoff Association Shithead
Union.

A Proud Infidel®™

That or “Yes My Retarded Ass Signed Up”! 😀

B Woodman

All three should be thrown UNDER the jail, and the entrance cemented behind them, with just enough of an opening to pour the ground up pig slops food into the cell.
Notice I said nothing about any second opening at the other end of the cell for wastes.

Martinjmpr

Where have I seen that haircut before? Oh yeah:

NICE HAIRCUT, and the white undershirt is a nice addition along with the Medical Branch disc Insignia (worn only on the Enlisted Personnel Dress Uniform) scream POSer to me! That candyassed little thumbsucking Smurf-hugging bigger-munching floor buffer-headedlittle creampuff of a Sparkle Pony will quickly be “married” to whoever gives the most cigarettes to Bubba & Thor after they “test drive” him!

Martinjmpr

Cameo was singing about this guy:

He tried to put on those airs and act real cool but he didn’t realize he was acting like a fool!

Okay, now I can’t get that stupid song out of my head. 😀

Here’s the link for those of you who were not lucky enough to be around in that glorious decade known as the 80s:

Jarhead

WTF is this? The Village People at Ferguson?

2/17 Air Cav

These recruiters really piss me off. I don’t know about you guys but I paid only $500 to join the Army. I realize that was a long time ago and costs have risen over the years but $13,000 still seems ridiculous.

Ex-PH2

Ya mean – all I had to do was offer them some cash in 1990?

Damn! And I had a fat paycheck on me, too!

2/17 Air Cav

Martinjmpr

My recruiter told me a lie
Join the Airborne and learn to fly
So I signed my name on the dotted line
And now all I do is DOUBLE TIME!!

😀

rgr1480

Hey-hey all the way,
We run every day!

One mile–no good.
Two miles–No sweat.
Three miles–Better yet.
Four miles–All the way.
Five miles–Everyday

2/17 Air Cav

Criminals gotta crim. Recruiters gotta cruit.

Green Thumb

Upon his release from incarceration, I could see this clown working as a corporate recruiter for All-Points Logistics.

He appears to have the drive, motivation, experience and the “magic touch”.

skippy

SICK P.O.S. KARMA IS A BITCH Better watch your Flank you never know.

AW1Ed

Good Gawd. The 1980’s called and wants it’s High Top Fade back.

Hack Stone

As to (slipped in another one) the fake heroes, some of you suggest providing them a rifle and one magazine, then dropping them in ISIS territory to demonstrate their mad Skillz. In this instance, I say put his ass on Recruiting Duty, preferably the are that I had. Spend all month driving through the state to find the one kid mentally, morally AND physically qualified to enlist. Then have the SNCOIC riding your ass, all the while that he is stepping out of the office trying (unsuccessfully) to get laid.

Green Thumb

This man is into taint.

Over.

Sorensen25

As punishment I recommend that he be voluntold to recruiting duty for a sentence of no less than 3 years.
