Mark Allen Kelly indicted
We wrote about Mark Allen Kelly last year when he was arrested for showing a fake military ID card to NCIS investigators and parading around in a Navy uniform up there in my old Rochester, New York stomping grounds.
The news comes yesterday that Kelly was indicted by a federal grand jury;
Prosecutors said Mark Allen Kelly, 54, misrepresented himself to his employer and the community as being an Officer in the United States Navy. Each charge carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Kelly is accused of regularly wearing full dress naval uniforms at events for veterans. This included a memorial for a fallen Marine killed in Afghanistan where Kelly presented a flag to the Marine’s parents. When questioned, prosecutors said Kelly supported his false claims by presenting an authentic looking, but fraudulently made, military ID card.
Of course, Kelly compounded his fraud by lying to investigators – yet another charge. When you’re talking to federal agents, that’s probably not the time to stick your lies.

When I read the headline, I thought the subject of the article was Gabby Giffords’ two-faced hypocritical douchebag husband. But this guy is at least the same level of shitbag, probably much worse.

I don’t even know how to express my utter disbelief and anger towards him . Presenting the Flag at a fallen Marines funeral! I cannot believe anyone could do that under false pretence. It is disgraceful!
