Cornelius Davis, the stolen valor SGM

WPTV in West Palm Beach says that they’ve talked with Cornelius Davis, the fellow who starred in the viral video last weekend at a funeral when he was cornered by a couple of Marines. Davis continues to claim that he’s a sergeant major and that he’s in the Army.
WPTV spoke with the man in the video, who refused to go on camera and said he was angry at the social media postings. He identified himself as 44-year-old Cornelius Davis, showing dog tags and scars.
A spokesperson for the United States Army says the items on the uniform do not make sense and are not correct.
The Army says it has no record of a Cornelius Davis with the date of birth he provided having served in the Army since 1999.
We’ve never seen a phony cling to their lies even after they’ve been confronted with indisputable proof, have we? Well, except all of them. Like the ones who think they’re smarter than we are, and the ones who think that sending a hitman after us is worth the cost to be a phony SEAL, or the ones who think they can sue us until they’re a Navy CPO. Or the ones who are just too stupid to quit.
Since Mary sent us this link, I’m guessing that she already filed a FOIA on this peawit.
ADDED: Aunty Brat sent us this conversation from Facebook this morning;

Yeah, I’m tired of that excuse. They’re all intellectually disabled. They’re all “special needs”. They know what they’re doing is wrong because they lie about it. And this fellow put a LOT of money into his charades, so quit making excuses for them.

104th Rapid Service Jiffy Lube Brigade?
69th Butt Pirate Bde
Ah, yes, the “Flaming 69th”!!
+100 Coffee Spew!!!!!
I’m sure he’s from “The 69th San Francisco Battalion”!
“”104th Rapid Service Jiffy Lube Brigade?””
“”69th Butt Pirate Bde””
I heard that both of these are sister units, and deploy togeather often.
Especially when the deployment is LOOOOONG
I recognize this… it is gay humor… I get it.. very funny stuff. very funny indeed.
I recognize this… it is gay humor… I get it.. very funny stuff. very funny indeed.
The information for the vehicle he was driving that was posted online at US Army WTF, has resulted in the registered owner being identified as this man Davis. The name of the owner was actually a female according to other online sources, but some are continuing to spread her name about as being this guy. “Bobbie” IS NOT Robert…she also pops up as being female in online public records.
So if anyone reading this has posted that information incorrectly elsewhere, do the poor woman a favor and delete that.
How this guy is related to her and had use of that vehicle, I have no clue. Her name doesn’t deserve to be thrown out there as it has been.
As to this assclown Davis (if that is in fact his real name at all), he deserves and needs to be held down under a microscope.
Maybe the female is his daughter. Maybe she will come here to tell us how wrong and mean we are. Maybe she will tell us her Dad is wonderful and amazing. Faker6 Giduck wishes he’d thought of having a daughter.
She’s an elderly woman from what Stolen Valor has posted on their Facebook page.
An average impostor. A dim bulb living in Moms basement, deluded by video games and crackorsmacks, who absolutely believes his own delusions.
You will never get Cornholio into a rational world.
Nuckenfutz.
That’s exactly why we don’t allow people’s contact information to be posted here on TAH – the wrong people get put in the line of fire every time.
Oh, come now, Jonn. Since when has anyone EVER targeted the wrong people based on uneducated and unsupported evidence. I mean, that’s as stupid as calling a federal agency a lackey to a Master Chief Petty Officer…
(/sarc)
Nothing screams the real deal like authentic (Walmart) U.S Army dog tags. Except those nice shiny ones that came with the Call To Duty limited edition game pack.
imo
Like the ones Cody Sterner tried to pass off?
“showing dog tags and scars”
Of course he didnt use the CAC everyone has been asking for.
There are plenty of mentally challenged people who don’t act like this. That’s the lamest excuse in the world, and it’s an insult to them.
If this jerk is so ‘disabled’, what is he doing driving a car? This is total BS.
BINGO! If he is mentally capable enough to be driving a vehicle, he knew what he did was wrong, and should not have been doing it!!
HEY!!! I fly EVERY known aircraft known in the US arsenal!! Now, that being said, no one ever checked my crackerpipe WHAO!!! certs!! Im legit as they come!! You point to it, I can drive it, fly it, undermater drive it, (subs) and dont you DARE forget our space craft!! Im top dog A1 ULTRA-SUPER-DUPER-OVER-RATED man at the wheel wigth NO compitition. PERIOD!!
WHEW… Ok… now thats out of the way.. anyone for a bitre to eat or something…..
PH2 – come to Houston, darlin’, there thousands of mentally challenged people on the streets every day. Or sure seems like it.
There is a reason why I avoid Houston at all costs, well, besides the huge blonde hair, over use of makeup, excessive jewelry and rudeness….
You man the guys, right?
mean, dammit
Fellow Houstonian here. It’s not the mentally disabled people here. It’s the shipping container truck drivers playing Angry Birds while driving. Or the preoccupied soccer moms driving the Ford Expedition XL urban tanks.
Yeah, I was in special classes too. Back then they were called, “wood working, metals and auto mechanics”.
Maybe if such classes were still available this sorry soul would not be in this situation.
I was in a special class. I got made fun of for it, viciously. I was just a weirdo who had to leave the school every Tuesday and Thursday because I wasn’t even qualified for Special Ed…
I was taking advanced math classes at the Community College in my Senior Year, and ended picking up a Philosophy class because… well, hot blonde teacher.
My ‘special’ classes were Home Ec and art.
My ‘special’ class was through FFA (Future Farmers of America.) God, that class was a lot of fun.
Yeah the whole intellectually disabled already had a name, stupid! Now being stupid is a handicap? Bullshit. This guy knew what he was doing and got busted. He knew enough to curse at those guys. He knew enough to go buy the uniform, ribbons and medals. But he has something worse than the handicap of being “intellectually disabled”. He is intellectually disabled and lazy! My 8 year old could have done a better job at pretending with a Walmart soldier costume. This guy needs a throat punch
Joe, it’s “Throat Punch Thursday” in my shop. Permission Granted.
I’ve been accused of being a *special snowflake* once in a while, (*gasp*) but NO, have never felt the need to put on a uniform to claim such status…..;)
We called them “C Wingers” because they were all in classes in Bldg C at my High School. They wanted to fit in too but I don’t remember any rolling into school General Patton Style. If this clown drove a car up he is not that disabled in the mind department and I’m pretty sure the Marines that threw down on him or the news crew would have noticed.
I will take phony Veteran excuses for a $1000 Alex. The initial excuses they come up with are as phony as they are, and predictable. Now we move on to the next phase, ‘Drop all of this because (fill in the blank)’. When that doesn’t work his supporters flee like roaches from the Orkin Man.
Now that this has garnered National and *International* viral Internet and Press attention…anyone want to take bets that this shitbag tries this again?
/not even betting $1…it’s a lock.
Gonna do what we used to do in Arkansas when a tornado warning was issued – grab a lawn chair and a six-pack and watch. This could be good…
Dude needs to get his ass over to Merritt Island.
They have several special needs types over at All-Points Logistics.
I am sure they will give him a job.
I have held my tongue on this one, because it’s so blatantly obvious that he’s a fucking poser, that it would be like claiming water is wet, and I don’t need the aggravation.
I will say this; he was never in the military, period. Anyone that spent more than 5 minutes in the military would know that you don’t wear your uniform all cocked up like that. It looks like a surplus store counter puked all over the front of that uniform. I’m glad I wasn’t there, because I wouldn’t have been as restrained as the Marines were. I would have ripped the shit off the uniform right there in front of everyone. He would have walked away in his skivvies.
“Intellectually disabled”
Those were the jagoffs that went to the zoo or the museum every other day. They were bullshit artists then and they are all usually bullshit artists today as proven by this giant turd lying his ass off.
Telling a lie in school today gets you points for “creativity”. We are grooming our children to join the nation of liars the US has become over the last 40 years. Liars are socially acceptable and honorable people in the US, our senators like Blumenthal and Warren are nothing more than bullshit artist liars making shit up out of whole cloth. 90% of our celebrities are lying, adulterous, drug, or alcohol addicts admired for their wealth not for their character.
When material goods trump character you get people like this ass clown thinking it’s an acceptable behavior pattern. When your senators and congress people are full of shit liars those of you calling out these “poor, dimwitted, disabled” posers are viewed as irascible cranks with nothing better to do than make life miserable from some liars….
We are reaping the benefits of accepting liars as leaders. We are reaping the benefits of voting for party not character, we as a nation are getting exactly what we deserve for encouraging our society to be nothing more than narcissistic lying assholes blowing smoke up each other’s assholes all day long while pretending we believe each other’s bullshit.
Yup, he’s totally legit; anybody who can produce dog tags and scars MUST be totally legit…
If I had to show my scars to demonstrate my 32 years of service the immediate horrified reply would be, “my God, how did you do that down there on that … You poor thing”.
Sometimes there is no satisfaction entering into a battle of wits with an unarmed man.
Like kicking a puppy. No real challenge to it, but they make some funny noises.
Other times it’s quite enjoyable as it doesn’t take much effort to keep them spinning for hours on end.
It’s really not our fault if some asshole decides to enter the fray without the appropriate armament….
Want to play like the big boys? Bring your big boy pants or stay home turd…
Lets not forget, Davis put on all this stuff to go to a Funeral. He did not do it for any reason other than seeking attention. He has gotten all the attention he wanted.
He used the death of a member of the military to try and steal honor and valor. Two things that he cannot ever have while he tries to live that lie. I have nothing but contempt for him.
Now we hear that he is mentally challenged. That may well be the case but if he is that challenged that he does not know right from wrong then some one helped him get that stuff. Someone allowed him to try and pull this off.
You can bet that this was not the first time he has done this.
According to the great mind of the north west we are wrong for pointing this out. He and his Minion in Florida would have us not say a word.
They would call it freedom of speech, Davis’s right would trump ours. Well IMO I have a voice and have as much right to exercise it in my own way as Davis does his. They have the right not to listen.
His special person status does not hold water in court.
The standard is knowing the difference between right and wrong, regardless of one’s mental capacity.
He knew he was wrong, as demonstated by his escalation of rhetoric and the emergency escape he conducted when the heat got hot.
Someone did not know the difference would have signed autographs for the responding officers, posed for photos, attempted to recruit them and finally invited them all back to his house for ice cream and video games.
Hey, Sport, how many PLF’s can you get in a kit bag? (What a FRAUD)
I think I know this answer!
not sure how many will fit in the bag but i know they sure will tighten up your ball bag
every time i jumped i wondered why i was doing this…lol
This sickens me.
This guy may be a new employee at All points Logistics. A junior VP or something he obviously has the rename and experience to get the job. Just drop phill monkey azz a quick e-mail he always gets right back to us .
BFF
So, you think this guy is All Points Logistics material?
Yup a true member of the warrior/corporate elite.
what a tool bag…. We did say that he was in West Germany right? West Germany is no more as of 1990. Didn’t even need to talk about the medals and ribbons.
I spent 22 years in an Army uniform, and mine has legitimate awards and decorations reflecting a career that I am proud of, and it makes me angry to see someone wear a uniform or awards they didn’t earn.
I have no idea who this man is or if he is actually intellectually disabled or has any other special needs. If he is, then there should be a responsible person out there that should have known better and kept him from doing this. If he is a poser and has the capacity to know better, then he deserves the rebuke.
However, the members of this forum don’t have that excuse. Some of the comments about people with special needs in this thread are not so much offensive as they are ignorant and disappointing.
This man’s actions are not a justification to abuse an entire community. Intellectual Disability and autism are real, and the stereotypes perpetuated here harm those with special needs and their families. Life is tough enough for them; they don’t need you to make things worse.
I take this personally. I have a son with autism, and my wife is a special education teacher. One of our greatest fears is that he will someday come across people that are this ignorant and uncaring without us around to stand up for him.
My older son was nearly suspended from school for defending his brother from kids that were abusing like this. I was never more proud to tell a principal to go to hell- the school will never know how lucky they are that I took the call and not my wife. I suppose that is why I would expect those who legitimately wore a uniform to help defend those that cannot defend themselves, not see them as an easy target.
Think you may just be projecting just a wee bit there Jack. My son is also on the Autism Spectrum, and it was a helleacious battle the past 20 years for him, myself, his brother, teachers, counselors, friends, etc… but mostly him, to get him to where he is today. He makes no excuses for himself, accepts responsibilty for what he says and does.
Not all are the same, but I am going to reiterate that this guy in Florida has a Drivers License and is on the road driving. he knows the difference between right and wrong ,so trying to weasle out of responsibility by tossing out the “intellectually disabled” card is highly suspect and a sorry ass excuse.
No idea what got you so upset in here, going back through I see nothing derogatory towards special needs at all.
“Lighten up Francis”
I’m not projecting at all, nor am I talking about this guy. I am talking about comments like ‘Those were the jagoffs that went to the zoo or the museum every other day. They were bullshit artists then and they are all usually bullshit artists today as proven by this giant turd lying his ass off.’
or
‘Yeah the whole intellectually disabled already had a name, stupid! Now being stupid is a handicap? Bullshit’
Jack, help me out here. How do we stop the many “intellectually disabled” people who love to play military dress-up. I do not accept the, “Leave him alone, he doesn’t know any better” line.
Perhaps you have a better idea; all I can come up with is the parents, guardians, or administration of a group home responsible for these folks get charged with stolen valor when their wards play military dress-up.
Great question. I think that many of these guys are in the care or under the supervision of people that don’t understand the gravity of this- they see it as harmless. I think educating them as to the harm they are causing to veterans as well as the scrutiny they are opening themselves up to is critical. We would be having an entirely differnet discussion if one of these guys came out dressed as a doctor and tried to treat patients…
Jack … So, what is the problem?
Have you taken time to understand the totallity of the conversation here?
No, you have not!
@JACK~
You should not be taking any issue here with us…Perhaps you should re-read the article. This Glittery Gargoyle with the Faerie Puke all over his Clown Suit’s family who are the one’s the threw out the “Intellectually Disabled” Card. Not us. We are doing what we do which is counter lies with the truth. This guy is no more Mentally Difficient than a flaming squirrel coming out of your bum.
He knew exactly what he was doing, presumably holds a drivers license and drives a car. He knowingly went a a Military Funeral in the Clown Suit to get attention for himself.
He’s a disgrace and deserves everything he gets from us at TAH and the other Stolen Valor sites.
If you do not like the insults than do yourself a favor and don’t come here and read the comments.
Oh and by the way, there are many here that have children, family members or are themselves Autistic or Disabled Mentally in some capacity, so go back to your sock drawer Puppet and learn to look inward before coming here and waging your finger at us for using insults you dislike.
I don’t have an issue with you. I have an issue with some very specific comments made by two or three individuals.
I have made it very clear many times that I do not take issue with rebuking this individual if he is competent.
What I have an issue with is generalizing the commentary to all people with special needs.
I have a child with autism myself, which is exactly why I can’t let it go. If you don’t like it, do yourself a favor and don’t read the comments.
I have no idea what a ‘sock drawer Puppet’ is, but I can only assume it is meant as an insult.
They why did you castigate us all, as a group, with that shotgun approach? That sounded that the very thing to which you objected in the first place.
Whatever.
Jack~
I have no issue with you either, with the exception of you coming in here to a Military Blog to stand as the PC police.
I am very sorry you have a disabled child. I am also sorry your child has suffered abuses by his peers and teachers.
When people such as yourself come here and demand we watch what insults we fling at a POSer who tries to steal Valor of the men and women who served, currently serve or who have died you are deflecting the issue from Valor Stealing to Political Correctness. That my dear is a Sock Puppet.
If you came in here as a Vet looking for help for your problems with your child, I am quite certain many of us here would be happy to help in whatever way possible. As you can read through the comments again, many have stated they themselves have children with special needs. We understand your pain.
But once again, I will point out that this is a Military blog and a good lot of us are old school and do not partake in the PC crap that is constantly being shoved down our throats.
Again, I will stress to you, it does suck having a challenging child, and I am sorry for you, but it is not your job to PC police us and demand that we watch our words so as not to offend. You say you did 20? Then stiffen you spine and get over yourself. Plenty of people are dealing with a lot of far worse issues. If your big concern is a couple of comments made on a Mil blog, than don’t come here and read.
I don’t have a challenging child, but thanks for your concern. I also don’t have any issue whatsoever with calling this particular individual out for wearing a uniform and awards that he did not earn.
I do have a problem with the way specific individuals on this forum are referring to those with special needs, and I’m going to call them out for saying it and everyone else out for condoning it.
@JACK~
Well then…
I tried to be respectful to you….
You are NOT the PC word Police here. This is Jonn Lilyea’s house and he has allowed us kindly to come play in his sandbox…Only he or the Admins here get to tell us when we have crossed a line.
If you do not like the words used too bad…Go to a parenting website for disabled children and be PC all you want.
You are not our boss in ANY WAY, and do not get to come in here to chastised us to watch our words cause YOU find it offensive.
So take your “Special Sparkle Pony, Snowflake” self, to a parenting blog and hang out with all those “Delicate Persons with Tender Feelings” and kvetch to one another about the PC incorrect bullies of TAH using mean words to describe a POSer. Then you can all go over to Change.org and start a petition on stopping us mean Veterans for utilizing our First Amendment Rights that we fought, bled and died for.
When you’re all done with that, have a hug and a warm cup of hot chocolate with mini marshmellows. I’ll even leave you a box of tissues to wipe the toad snot off your lip.
Jack. of course you’re welcomed here, but please don’t scold us. This is a place where veterans can speak their minds because there’s really no other place they can do that. I’ve been kicked out of forums for being me. You can be you, too, but you must be able to take like you give.
Ditto, we try to be nice. Thanks for sparing me the time to type that.
I have. I read the entire thread, more than once. I have no issue with the comments about what this individual did. I do have an issue when the comments are generalize in to include all people with special needs.
My 2 cents on this,
Jack, I think you may be reading things in the wrong voice.
I do not think anyone here is talking in general terms about those that have a real handicap, mental or otherwise.
We live in an age where every child could be considered disabled in some way. Parents make excuses for bad behavior by blaming it on a learning disability. ADHD ADD, Bipolar, Turretts, Autism the list goes on. Doctors are forced to make a diagnosis for fear od being sued. The unfortunate side effect is that the limited resources available to those that have a real need are wasted on those that only want an easy road.
Now you may ask what qualifies me to say this? I have a child who has aspergers. We had to fight to keep him main stream. I saw the way that the special needs classes were conducted and I did not want my child involved. I saw how frustrated he got and how hard he worked.
His mother and I felt that we would be doing him a disservice by allowing him to get a certificate instead of a diploma.
Jack I ask that you take a step off the PC bandwagon and read the comments as they were written. They were all directed at Davis. I I can understand why you would see them as statement directed at all special needs student but I can assure you they were not.
Great point. I agree, there are many parents that make excuses for their children and seek diagnoses that are not appropriate, and there are many adults that take advantage of this as well.
But there are also people who genuinely do have special needs. It is not PC to tell you that I think that making comments like ‘Yeah the whole intellectually disabled already had a name, stupid! Now being stupid is a handicap? Bullshit’ are ignorant.
I hate when people come in here with their ass in the air and a chapped rectum because of a term someone uses to describe a fuckstick “offends” them.
“Intelectually disabled” is another way to say someone is just plain fucking stupid. People who are “MENTALLY handicapped” aren’t stupid, as they sometimes can’t grasp certain concepts.
Jack, take the chip off your shoulder and read the comments in context of the subject. No one was denigrating those with true disabilities. They were ragging those who attempt to use disability as an excuse for their behavior.
Being stupid has never helped me. Ever. I would definitely call it a handicap.
Try serving in uniform for real with a form of autism. I’ve been in the Army National Guard and Reserve for ten years with Asperger’s Syndrome.
Jack … Do you KNOW any of us?
If not, STAND DOWN!
You are at the wrong blog.
If you want a blog about special needs there are plenty to choose from.
This ain’t it!
Jack-I can see you have your point and welcome it. Understand that almost every one of these fake veterans pulls some kind nonsense to make excuses for their behavior. As more information comes to light we comment on it. Some of us post things in haste from time to time but make no mistake the far majority of us would not stand idly by while your son or anyone else was being abused. We all have our moments and what better place to vent them than with other Veterans. I expect to read a few things that piss me off here, I also expect to hear about it when I do the same.
Prison was really rough on Wesley Snipes!
SGM “Cornhole” Davis he has become.
I have copyright on that.
MCPO NYC USN Ret. says:
July 24, 2014 at 10:20 am
Command Sgt Maj Cornhole Davis:
He already has a jazzy uniform, an excuse, “special classes” and training and high level media exposure.
Send him to a major command in a E-9 billet as a pilot program.
Get back with results in 2 days.
Damn.
I missed that.
It was the PTSD.
I should work for Walsh.
Being autistic and hearing the excuse He’s special needs and intellectually disabled pissis me off. He did it for the attention. I know people in the military and who are veterans and dipshits like him make me mad.
Someone like to explain what is meant by “intellectually disabled?” Is that an actual, clinical diagnosis, or just a cute way to call someone lazy?
If it is a real diagnosis, what does it have to do with lying? What does it have to do with inappropriate behavior at a funeral?
If it just means acting dumb in public, then we have quite a collection of folks to throw into that category.
I didn’t. I began my post by saying that i think that this guy is either competent, in which case he deserves rebuke, or that he has a caretaker who should know better. Either way, it is wrong
OK Jack …
Pull up a stool and have an ice cold glass of STFU!
You can hang out here!
And now you are denying what exactly there, Jack? I ask some questions and your response is, “I didn’t.” Well, OK, then! (Just to be clear – I really didn’t think that you had. Or maybe you did and are now lying. I don’t really care.)
And another thing, Jack. You didn’t make a “post.” The owner of this place made a post. The comments that follow his post are just that – comments.
Are we having fun yet, Jack? You have done a mess of complaining about the use of the language here, refuse to address those with whom you have specific complaints and continue to castigate us all because some mythical “posters” are offending your tender sensibilities. Here’s a news flash for you, Jack – your use of the language is pretty confusing, not focused on the topic posted at the top of the page, and are pretty much nonsensical. That offends me. The difference between you and me is that I’m not going to whine about it.
Intellectually disabled is an actual diagnosis. It used to be called ‘mentally retarded’, but that was too general a term. Some people with other disabilities would also be categorized as retarded and it led to the wrong treatment, programs, etc
It has nothing to do with lazy- people that are ID work very hard to overcome their disabilities
As far as lying, it is a complex issue, and everyone is different. There are some people that cannot distinguish fact from fiction, or that cannot interpret idioms, for instance. These people should have assistance, which is one of the reasons that Mr Davis should not have been allowed to do this (if he is in fact disabled).
Jack…….I’ve been reading your posts all day long. Frankly, I’m getting bored with it all. You say you have no problem with what’s being said here. Or you agree.
Then you go on with the attack on us.
Kindly, just go away, I’m tired of reading your excuses and general BS!
Jack, as I posted earlier, take the chip off your shoulder and read the comments in the context of the subject being discussed. No one was denigrating the truly disabled. Hell, there are many disabled on this site, myself being one of them. They were berating those who attempt to use disability as an excuse for their behavior. No one here is going to bully the disabled, especially a child. But we will mercilessly rip apart the fakes, phonies, and frauds especially those who want to hide behind a disability.
The guy clearly knows how to drive, and could clearly verbally communicate in an intelligent manner. I call BS on his supposed disabilities he knew the “its classified excuse”. I am not a doctor though so who knows I could very well be wrong. My only basis for comparison on his BS is that Forest Gump wore that uniform perfect and could play ping pong against the commies.
ok jack lets see…Intellectual disability is a below-average cognitive ability with three (3) characteristics:
1: Intelligent quotient (or I.Q.) is between 70-75 or below
2: Significant limitations in adaptive behaviors(the ability to adapt and carry on everyday life activities such as self-care, socializing, communicating, etc.)
3: The onset of the disability occurs before age 18.
with that said if this guy has this ID shit he really shouldn’t be driving a car alone on the streets in any city in this great country…
so that would throw it all back to where this conversation began, he is a poser who had full knowledge of what he was doing and the implications it entails… you can try to make excuses for this poor excuse for an ass hat that you want but just not here …
I just got off the phone with Inside Edition in regards to Sergeant Major McStudly, here. He’s about to get all of the attention he craved, I guess.
Jonn,
Please to be keeping us informed about additional press coverage.
I’ll have my nose plastered to my tee vee screen….or computer monitor.
/make this fucker cry.
Just to give you guys an update…
AR 670-1 was replaced today by AR 1111-2 which is now called “To do my best, and to do my duty.” Under this new Uniform Regulation, as long as however and whatever your wearing is helping you to do your best and to do your duty, then you are in the clear and within regulation.
