Phony Spodofora back in the race

| March 27, 2012

We discussed John Spodofora, Stafford, NJ mayor here, here and here in the last few weeks. During his press conference last week, he announced that he was withdrawing from the upcoming election. But I guess he figures four days is long enough;

In an email to club members Friday night, the Republican club’s screening committee said it was notified Thursday evening by Spodofora that he had withdrawn his request for the club’s endorsement in the November election.

Before the vote on his nomination Monday, the club’s screening committee approved Spodofora’s endorsement 5-2.

The full club membership overwhelmingly approved Spodofora, who was the only candidate nominated by the club to run in the June 5 primary election for mayor.

Yeah, because all politicians lie, this one just happened to get caught. That’s why the Republican Party is advancing this particular liar to the ballot box. It was only lies that he used in his campaign for office, so what’s the big deal? It’s not like he’d lie to voters and constituents about anything else, right?

I hope the voters are a little bit brighter than the “Republican Club”.

People wonder why OJ was set free. The 5 clowns that voted for this liar-phony shows that there are stupid people in all walks of life. Are there any standards, morals, or shame in our society?

It is a sorry commentary that someone who claims to be a Navy SEAL, have a Purple Heart, and numerous other lies is unending for mayor of Stafford Township, NJ. He was also supported by the American Legion! I guess people will settle for dirtbags for their elected official these days.
