How’s that Mao thing working out?
A professor from Hong Kong was able to get unprecedented access to government archives in China from the period known as “The Great Leap Forward” during which Mao Zedong tried to catch China up with the twentieth century by wiping out millions of families;
Mr Dikötter, who has been studying Chinese rural history from 1958 to 1962, when the nation was facing a famine, compared the systematic torture, brutality, starvation and killing of Chinese peasants to the Second World War in its magnitude. At least 45 million people were worked, starved or beaten to death in China over these four years; the worldwide death toll of the Second World War was 55 million.
In just four years. Pretty good role model ain’t he? That’s probably why Victor Agosto, of the IVAW admires him (that’s Victor mimicking Mao’s image in the Great Leap Forward poster above). Yeah, the founders of ANSWER and World Can’t Wait were all admitted Maoists – but if we call them communists, we’re “red baiting”.
Victor says China’s model of communism is “state capitalism”. But, Mao was a Stalinist and used starvation as a weapon against his people just like Stalin and Lenin did.
The lessons of history are always lost on the Left.

LOL, what ROS said. 😉
See? Even the Italian agrees.
If there was such a finish line, 2nd place is wwaaaayy behind…
Maybe Victor has the same coke habit that Matthis does and it’s making him paranoid?
I think we should start making tin-foil hats for these goofs.
Sorry, the above was me.
@Victor:
Just a note. Attending a wedding is not against IVAW’s Code of Conduct. Divisive behavior, however (such as trying to call people cops just because they work hard without being paid), is. You’ve definitely crossed the line.
You think I have a “higher standard of living” because I haven’t starved in the street yet while giving a lot of unpaid hours to IVAW. You know nothing about how I live, what my finances are, or how many hours I work.
Want to talk about the gap between the poor and the comfortable? Not that I owe anything to you, but family was there. They’ve pulled themselves up by their bootstraps a few times out of poverty into comfortable living. My favorite grandmother was desperately poor in another country. She sacrificed to come here and arrived one month after the stock market crashed, and the Great Depression was starting. She worked really really hard, as did others in that side of my family. At least one person in my family in every generation has been in the military. The other side? Well, that side pulled themselves out of poverty, until my grandfather was pulled out of his car and shot in the street by Communists. Then they pulled themselves out of poverty /again/.
We’re not rich now, either. We get by, because we work hard. I get by, because I worked hard, and I did serve my country in time of war, and did give everything I had and did a good job. I honored my contract and had an honorable discharge, and it gives me benefits.
And if you think that This Aint Hell hasn’t asked me multiple, multiple, times to leave IVAW, you have obviously not been reading the three billion times they’ve alternately cajoled, threatened, tempted, and everything else they could do to get me to leave.
And here you are (Army Sergeant) again being bullied by an IVAW Board member…and still you stick. As soon as the bad ones leave, another one picks on you. When do you decide that enough is enough? The fact that he thinks calling you a Cop is a bad thing ought to tell you something.
Of course, he is a convicted criminal which might explain his thought processes, but nonetheless….
Whats with all the Cop hate? Sheesh!
@Coppa
“And if you think that This Aint Hell hasn’t asked me multiple, multiple, times to leave IVAW, you have obviously not been reading the three billion times they’ve alternately cajoled, threatened, tempted, and everything else they could do to get me to leave.”
They know what side you’re really on.
Jonn defends you even though you haven’t left IVAW. I wonder why.
“Divisive behavior, however (such as trying to call people cops just because they work hard without being paid), is. You’ve definitely crossed the line.”
You are the definition of divisive behavior in IVAW. It is the history of your involvement with the organization. I wish it were just a matter of you “working hard without getting paid.” Fortunately, your antics have lost more and more credibility as time passes. Unfortunately, much of the damage you have done is irreversible.
@Jonn
Again you lie. I stated in the 9/11 thread that I hold no position of authority in IVAW. I’m not a board member.
An uneducated convicted criminal who is officially without honor. Why would I expect someone like that to attack others, designate scapegoats, parrot tired rhetoric of others, and ultimately subscribe to an ideology where everything from food to money to ways to think are merely handed to him.
You omitted the paranoid part, Cap’n.
ROS,
I think there are some whose actions that we perceive as paranoia are actually not, but instead are coldly calculated in their actions. It’s time honored to develop scapegoats and purges in order to boost ones own standing while preying on the unsuspecting minions. Saying that, however, I suspect the wattage upstairs for most of these people is a but low. So in this case, I respectfully agree that this particular guy is an uneducated convicted criminal who is driven by paranoia to merely parrot tired rhetoric. He also is officially without honor and can also be considered a welcher.
I cannot agree more.
And for those people, I have no use.
IVAW doesn’t hate police. One of our board members was a retired cop, and we have many members who are in fact serving in some form of law enforcement capacity.
@Victor
I note that the fact that people here and elsewhere defend me from your harassment says a lot more about you and your behavior than my relationship with them.
As I have said previously, open-minded people have friends who hold one or more beliefs with which they do not agree. Victor and Matthis’ need for the “sanctity” of the “movement” shows only their closed mindedness.
What about me? I want attention too!

Jonn, I expect you already know of this gathering of whackos, but another contact of mine published the list which includes IVAW, Code Stink, various unions, various Socialist Organizations, various Communist Organizations, various DNC Organizations, co-sponsoring the anti-Tea party rally in DC: http://beyaself.multiply.com/journal/item/820/Mondays_Vent…………The_FREAKshow_thats_a_comin
Seeing these groups linking themselves in common cause is certainly one of those things that falls under your speciality. October 6th. (Rally page: http://action.onenationworkingtogether.org/index.php/partners/ )
“The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the Americans freedom and before I leave office I must inform the Citizen of his plight.” PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY(5 months after he signed Executive Order 11110, and 10 days before he was murdered) On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The Christian Common Law Institute has exhaustively researched this matter through the Federal Register and Library of Congress and can now safely conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or superseded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still valid. When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy – the author of Profiles in Courage -signed this Order, it returned to the federal government, specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and issue currency -money –DEBT FREE, without going through the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank. President Kennedy’s Executive Order 11110 gave the Treasury Department the explicit authority: “to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury.” This means that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury’s vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation based on the silver bullion physically held there. As a result, more than $4 billion in United States Notes were brought into circulation in $2 and $5 denominations. $10 and $20 United States Notes were never circulated but were being printed by the Treasury Department when Kennedy was assassinated. It appears obvious that President Kennedy knew the Federal Reserve Notes being used as the purported legal currency were contrary to the Constitution of the United States of America. “United States Notes” were issued as an interest-free and debt-free currency backed by silver reserves in the U.S. Treasury. The Federal Reserve Act… Read more »
Did you know that President’s Day was originally Washington’s Birthday? Does anyone remember him? You Know the Father of our country. The man who defied a Tyrant at the risk of his own life, and that of his family. The man who if caught would have been hung as a traitor because he knew that there was a higher authority than that of evil tyrannical rulers, an authority that everyone will eventually be accountable to! An authority that he often gave all the credit praise and glory to even while suffering the hardships of the winter at Valley Forge with his half naked, starving ragtag army who’s tracks could be traced by the blood left in the snow by many of his soldiers bare feet, almost always without provisions, a good quarter of the army died of cold, starvation, and disease. Several thousand more deserted. Yet those who stayed and survived the suffering of that brutal winter formed a brotherhood that could never be broken, for it was God Almighty that General George Washington credited for the American Army overcoming overwhelming odds and devastating hardships and defeating the strongest military power of his time! The very same authority that the communist of the world hate and despise because they are the egotistical, arrogant, self serving, self proclaimed masters of the universe, who expect you and me to bow down to! For History repeats itself and when communist and other tyrannical invaders destroyed a society from within, they first destroyed their history and their national pride, don’t let this happen remember our Fore Fathers and the risk they took for our Declaration of Independence! They knew exactly how to deal with Tyrants and we are their descendants, never let our children forget! I took an oath to protect my country against all enemies! Foreign and domestic! A nation that does not remember where it came from, or what its foundations were, is easily destroyed, by its enemies, either from within, or without. What kind of man was George Washington that ordinary men would follow him, though the misery and hardships… Read more »
Luke 10:18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven. In ancient Hebrew the word for lightning is barack, the word for heaven or the heights is bama and to connect the words either an “a” or an “o” is used. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (King James Version) 3Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Political Correctness a term first seen in Mao’s Little Red Book, a communist engendered abomination that is instituting censorship little by little. “If the freedom of speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.”- George Washington Carl Marx, once wrote that, the goal of the Communists was to quote,. “enter into men’s minds and cast God down from his throne.” Matthew 12:31Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. In ancient Babylon their economy was based on usury. “If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest. Exodus 22:25 Hath given forth upon usury, and hath taken increase: shall he then live? he shall not live: he hath done all these abominations; he shall surely die; his blood shall be upon him. Ezekiel 18:13 Usury is unlawful; expressly prohibited by GOD! Article 1 Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution clearly states that only the Congress can print and coin money! The Federal Reserve Act of 1913 was slipped thru congress during the Christmas break with the majority of it’s members absent. The Federal Reserve is self serving and privately owned in violation to the Constitution, charging interest on illegally printed money. Money printed from nothing! In America On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve Bank… Read more »
Mention the Federal Reserve (FED) and most people, including Americans, will think that you are talking about the financial arm of the US government. That assumption, however, would be well off the mark. The Federal Reserve is in fact a private company. Many Americans also believe that the FED is part of their Constitution. UNCONSTITUTIONAL However, that assumption is also far from true. In fact, Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution actually outlawed such an entity from ever existing – ‘only Congress shall have the power to create money and regulate the value thereof’. In stark contrast to this statement, the Federal Reserve Bank is owned and run by private individuals and international bankers. These international bankers have the power, through the United States Treasury, to print money by simply adding ink to worthless pieces of paper. What is more, they also control it’s value and even loan it to the US’ and other governments around the world, charging interest for the privilege. This ability affords the Federal Reserve huge amounts of power, despite the fact that their very existence violates the US Constitution. With that in mind is the Federal Reserve the greatest, and most overt, financial crime of all time? BRIEF HISTORY The Federal Reserve was originally begun with approximately 300 individuals and banks backing it. Each bought a number of shares at a cost of $100 each. As these shares are never publicly traded one can only wonder how much each is worth today! Collectively, the shareholders in the Federal Reserve make up the strongest financial cartel in history. Each year the Federal Reserve collects billions of dollars in interest payments alone, distributing the profit between it’s members. The Federal Reserve is allowed to print as much money as it chooses yet pays no interest, fees or charges to the US government. This ability to literally print as much money as it wants was bestowed upon the FED in 1913, despite it being quite illegal. MANIPULATION OF INFLATION AND INTEREST RATES The FED creates money and then lends it to individual, companies and governments… Read more »
