Those “benign” emails
How can there be benign emails between an Army Major and a radical imam who encourages terrorism? (USAToday link)
The personal website for a radical American imam living in Yemen who had contact with two Sept. 11 hijackers is praising alleged Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan as a hero.
One U.S. official said Monday that the government had discovered electronic communications that showed Hasan had reached out to the imam, Anwar Aulaqi, in the past. But investigators said late Monday there was no indication Hasan was directed to attack or had help in the massacre last Thursday.
The posting Monday on the website for Aulaqi, who was a spiritual leader at two mosques where three Sept. 11 hijackers worshipped, said American Muslims who condemned the attacks on the Texas military post last week are hypocrites who have committed treason against their religion.
From Fox News’ Special Report;
If those emails are so benign, why can’t we see them? I’m telling you that since the Army’s Chief of Staff thinks that losing our diversity is more tragic than losing 13 soldiers, I want to see those emails. I don’t trust the government’s judgment when it comes to my security lately.
By the way, the Chicago mayor blames you gun-clinging fundamentalists for the actions of an Allah-clinging fundamentalist according to Gateway Pundit.

Casey needs to go. He’s a HUGE symptom of the McNamarian corporate structure of command, where “diversity” somehow becomes more important than lives… in this case, 13 of them.
Casey should put his money where his mouth is and HALO into downtown Terhan and impress us with all of his diversity shit…just sayin…
Uh, yeah. Casey=SFB. Since when does losing diversity trump the loss of life by a god damned terrorist? Sigh. So sick of the PC friggin’ bullshit.
The Pied Piper likened this to an act of violence for which there is no explanation.
Honestly, I could throw up. Call it what it is. TERRORISM.
“Benign” is in the intent and usage.
And since we saw what & how Maj Hasan intended and used the soldiers at Ft Hood to his advantage, I think we need to also see those emails to determine for ourselves how “benign” they are — or not.
The only way I could half-way believe that those emails should be withheld, is for some long-term intel sting. But since we know about them, THAT cover is blown.
Are all politicians stupid? I know it’s a stupid question but don’t they have the brains to know the man was a PHd and could have easily have built a bomb and taken out hundreds in the crowded hall. Good thing he resorted to handguns. If they released the EMails they would withhold any which show the farce called Islam in the wrong.
I was appaulled when I read the statement that Obama made to the dems in congress, before the healthcare vote, where he used the tragice events at Ft. Hood in his rah rah speech to try and get healthcare passed. Only a soulless creature would do something like that in order to try and get a political agenda forwarded.
They can’t get too PC involving this terrorist attack. Every news mouthpiece is worried about a “backlash” versus worrying about the families and loved ones of those dead and wounded by this terrorist. It makes me sick that on the day they are mourning the losses at Ft. Hood, the talking bubbleheads are worrying about something that hasn’t happened and won’t happen.
As for Thug Daley: he can suck my left nut.
Daley is a simpleton. Of ALL the victims in this attack, only 1 (that I know of) had a weapon. And she put the terrorist down.
All 13 of the dead were unarmed. If any of them lived on post and owned personal weapons they were securely locked in the Arms Room.
The terrorist committed violations of the UCMJ, post regs and Federal Laws when he brought his guns on post.
Gun laws are only for the law abiding.
“Investigators said late Monday there was no indication Hasan was directed to attack”. Who gives a shit whether he was “directed”. I want to see the e-mails he sent. I also want to know why someone, ANYONE, didn’t do something to head this off.
It seems the Gorelick Wall is back in place, and the people who are supposed to be talking to each other aren’t talking to each other. But, Janet Napolitano is worried about veterans returning home, and people who actually have read and believe what the Constitution says.
