Gee, a 5 shot .44 Special… think it was the M44 Taurus who did that in the ’90s on their version of a K frame. Lot of 3 and 4 inchers made, comparatively few 6″. With the longer barrel and a full solid underlug, they were a joy to shoot. Almost no felt recoil and great accuracy.
We were so close to a FGS Trifecta!!
More range time people, more range time!!!!
Nice gun, Ed
Anyone know where I could find a 22 High Standard Double Nine?
My Pa had one and my daughter let her ex have it!
Several for sale on GunBroker, prices ranging from $140-$550, no bids placed on any as of now.
Thanks David, I’ll check them out.
I have my High Standard Victor .22/4 in. barrel. Used it when I shot on the Brink’s shooting team during the .22 rimfire Police L comp matches. Never bought the longer 5 in barrel though. Mine was originaly made in Conn. Bought it around 1972.
Quinterious (not to be confused with Jacquerious) spins up a Whiz Wheel®™ score of 124.
Were you able to spin up a score on Mr Nematode (etc name) from Wednesday FGS?
We ask SO much of you.
I hope we’re not overworking you and the Whiz Wheel?
Yes, I did. Nematode SegwayScooter scored 104.
Quint-erious…….five of them? The mind shudders!
Was there a Quat-terious? (four)
A Tri-terious? (three)
Bi-terious? (two)
Uni-terious? (one)
I think I’ll stop now.
But Septimus came the closest.
