HOUSTON — A woman shot her ex-husband after a domestic dispute in north Houston on Sunday evening, according to police.

It was originally reported by police as a self-defense home invasion.

This happened in the 900 block of Glenn Avenue in Acres Homes.

Police tell us the man was dropping off the former couple’s children when an argument ensued. The ex-wife eventually shot the man, though she tells police he was harassing her and she shot him in self defense.

Police rule shooting justified

A 42-year-old man killed on March 2 in what the suspect claimed was self-defense was shot multiple times, according to the state Medical Examiner. One gunshot proved fatal.

Police have ruled the shooting was justified and no charges will be filed.

Medical Examiner Eric Duval reported that Eric Deshaun Nelson died from a perforating gunshot wound to the back. The fatal wound perforated the lower right shoulder and shoulder blade and cut across his right axillary artery and right lung. There were also gunshot wounds to his upper left arm and right thigh.

Man with concealed carry permit opens fire at car of fleeing shoplifters at Concord Mall: Police

An armed man fired multiple times at the tires of a vehicle fleeing with shoplifters inside from Brandywine Hundred’s Concord Mall on Friday night, state police said.

State police said troopers were dispatched to the mall around 7:45 p.m. after shots were reportedly fired in the parking lot. They learned a man with a concealed carry permit had fired at a car that had intentionally struck a mall security vehicle, police said.

Four people had stolen items from inside the mall and were making their escape, police said. After the gunfire, they got out and ran away, according to state police.

Looks like one mort, one recuperating and headed for a he-said she-said day in court; call ’em both guilty and be done with it. As for the fleeing shoplifters, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, three seems reasonable to me until better intell is attained.

Police: Lincoln man drops gun, shoots self in genitals

LINCOLN, Neb. – Police say a 32-year-old Nebraska man is recovering after dropping his gun on a sidewalk, causing it to fire and shoot him in the genitals.

The Lincoln Journal Star reports that police believe the man was walking Wednesday night in north Lincoln when a .22-caliber gun dropped out of his pocket, hit the ground and fired.

Police say the man gave conflicting accounts of how the shooting occurred and was cited on suspicion of discharging a firearm in the city and possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.

Police say the man’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Acres Homes…VERY sketchy area in N Houston. It’s more surprising yhat a woman there HAS a husband. More of a baby-mama kind of place.
