Report: Burglar Shot By East Pasadena Homeowner

PASADENA (CBSLA) — An East Pasadena burglar was reportedly shot by a homeowner Wednesday afternoon.

CBS2’s Tom Wait spoke to one homeowner who said she saw the burglar leaving her home with property he had allegedly stolen.

The incident played out on the 3600 block of Grayburn Road around 3:30 p.m.

The homeowner didn’t want to give her name but said she saw him just outside her home after returning from a walk.

“He told me it was his home and his mother was inside,” she said, “but I said, ‘This is my house.’ So, I look up and see my door was broken. So I didn’t know what to do, but I started calling the police. He ran inside my place again and came out with two luggages.”

Some bad actors come on four legs, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes. Poor kid. So one canine who won’t be mauling anyone again, two thieving low-lifes mending up for jail, and none in the wind. Again.

Americans who value freedom had better be more concerned about the gun control crowd than the criminals. The criminals want your money. The Neo-Totalitarians want your freedom. — Charlie Reese

Two Waldorf Men Arrested for Armed Robbery of Delivery Truck Driver

On Thursday, April 4, 2019, at approximately 2:45 p.m., a delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint by two masked males in the 11800 block of Edmont Place in Waldorf.

The males stole packages from the delivery truck and fled on foot. Officers from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office established a perimeter and K9 officer PFC Darin Behm and his K9 partner, Copper, a two-year-old bloodhound, responded and picked up a scent from the suspects, which took them through a wooded area to a house where the scent stopped. Based on that track, investigators were able to develop additional information relating to the suspects.

Investigators subsequently identified the suspects as Da’Quan Grier-Williams, 21, and Taisian Marquet Owens, 21, both from Waldorf. Search warrants were served at their homes and property, which had been stolen from the delivery truck, was recovered.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with robbery, theft, first-degree assault, and other related charges.

Detective Wimberly is investigating.

Copper was unavailable for comment, but reportedly enjoyed a lengthy tummy rub and a game of “fetch the tennis ball” just before nap time. Good boy!

Call for Claw! Call for Claw! Time to spin the Whiz Wheel!

They’re also both rather young (21), too. I’m guessing that might explain the lack of a “felon in possession” charge – MD’s pretty anal about firearms.

26Limabeans

I’m guessing Haitian.
Seems there was another feel good story a few months ago with similiar names in the same area.
Is there some sort of enclave in MD?

Today is Earth Day. Lights on for Earth Day.
Here is a feel good story for Earth Day:

https://bangordailynews.com/2019/04/21/news/aroostook/northern-maine-university-may-replace-damaged-wind-turbine-with-solar-panels/

Do the math. 43 cents per kwh.

I remember when First Wind installed it to showcase the local Mars Hill wind farm.
They celebrated the 5 year anniversary of the farm showing the kwh produced in 5 years.
It was a giant number until simple arithmetic was applied. In just five years it produced the equivalent of three days of the now defunt Maine Yankee nuke plant. Math is hard for liberals.

Feel good about Earth Day and turn on every light in the house.

1/4/0 if you use all 4 entries, good pot but window will only pay off on the official 1/2/0. 1. Didn’t say as to whether suspect was caught (no backup story shown) so this will be problem as to winnings. 2. All animals have wild instincts (just ask 5th about when new Miss thang shows up), it seems that in most cases their actions are based on how they are treated when they are raised, hope kid recovers. 3. Pushed his luck as should have left with loot from first house, oh well now has a new souvenir to show off in bar city. 4. I’d have to put more marbles in my mouth than either of them have in their head just to be able to pronounce these two’s names, besides Claw we also need sister to do a critique on the language or better the lack thereof in this one. 2 more for the boys in gray-bar hotel to use for entertainment. Shiny flakes from cave worthless, flakes of Rhine stones from polished stones used by Glen Campbell, back to picking up pennies off sidewalk. Chore time, Bye.

Outcast;
Picking up pennies off the sidewalk makes cents only if the pennies are heads up. Bad luck if they are tails up.

Another bomb reported today in Sri Lanka according to news.

FatCircles0311

Bomb or exploded bomb? Big difference.

Outcast

First report I heard just said bomb, second said exploded but details are sketchy from T.V. so guess I should try to search internet.

Outcast

Bomb was discovered and exploded while trying to defuse, believe 3 were killed as do not understand the country’s language from reporter.

Outcast

Newer conflicting report says bomb was successfully detonated by bomb squad.

Da’Quan & Taisian Marquet…sigh. My spell check thingie was underlining and saying dahell? I personally believe that a lot of these punks start a life of crime and abuse women because they are pissed at the baby mama for the name they were given. These two will be in an out of prison for the rest of their lives. Give Copper an extry dog bone and ear scratch…and some ice cream…dogs love ice cream. Chicongostan. Some sympathy for the 9 yo, but I have more sympathy for the pit bull. The details were very sketchy on the linky but lots of questions in my mind. Pitties have gotten a bad rap over the last few years, just as shepards, dobbies, chow chows, rotties, etc…Pit Bulls, and I have rescued several, are some of the most loyal, playful pups out there; if they are properly raised. They can be great big ol’ love sponges. 100 years ago, pitties were used by the wealthy as a guard dog for their children because of their defensive nature toward the children they were looking after. No info in the article on the conditions that the dog was in, ie free ranging, penned, chained, etc… And was the child taught, or at least told, not to aggravate or intrude into the space of the dog, or to keep their distance. I blame human inaction/indifference lack of any knowledge on proper raising and care of dogs for the tragic loss. Do hope the kid recovers, too late for the puppy dog. Good on the pizza place worker for defending himself and the business. Pizza boxes make good targets at the homemade range. Just saying. Will commiefornia prosecute the little old lady for interrupting homeboy’s jr. college edumucashun? He was prolly late for choir practice too. Good to see so many comments FIRST thing this morning…’specially on the FIRST post.
