Man faces charges after being shot in Hallandale Beach
Ronald Duverge accused of being convicted felon in possession of weapon

By Amanda Batchelor – Senior Digital Editor
HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida man is facing charges after being shot in Hallandale Beach, authorities confirmed.

An arrest report released Wednesday shows Ronald Jean Duverge, 24, of Pembroke Pines, faces charges of being a convicted felon in possession of a weapon and violating the terms of his probation.

According to Hallandale Beach police, officers were called to the area of Foster Road and Northwest Sixth Avenue near Foster Park on Tuesday afternoon after gunfire erupted during a fight.

Police said Duverge had been shot in the foot and a 9-year-old girl was shot in the neck.

Authorities said several witnesses claimed Duverge was seen holding a silver, semi-automatic gun and fired the weapon. One of the witnesses, who has a concealed firearms permit, told officers he returned fire, authorities said.

Downtown fatal shooting will not lead to criminal charges
Criminal homicides reached new highs for the past three years in Indianapolis and are on pace to set a new record in 2018. Here’s what is being done about the problem.

By: Ryan Martin
The fatal shooting of a man Downtown will not lead to criminal charges, the Marion County prosecutor’s office said.

On the afternoon of Jan. 15, 37-year-old Phillip Sullivan died inside a vehicle in the area of North Pennsylvania and East Michigan streets. The shooting occurred near the Minton-Capehart federal building.

On Thursday, the prosecutor’s office told IndyStar that prosecutors will not pursue charges.

“Immediately prior to the shooting, the driver asked Mr. Sullivan multiple times to exit her vehicle,” said Michael Leffler, spokesman for the prosecutor’s office. “Mr. Sullivan instigated a physical altercation in an attempt to take the driver’s handgun from where she had it secured on her person.”

Today’s totals, Delta Whiskies and Whiskettes, are 1 / 2 / 0, with one no longer among the living, two hospitalized or otherwise inconvenienced, and none in the wind. As consolation for the last article not being a “true” FGS, I’ve added the pic below.

Now, AW1Ed – “pr0n” is an ugly thing, remember? And your second photo is many things, but ugly isn’t among them.

Here’s yer requisite “gun pr0n”:

I have no idea how the Sterling PPL missed the Ranker list I posted yesterday. (smile)

Outcast

Sterling PPL. if you are talking about me, I will check again as to postings as I did go through the one showing a bunch of weird ones. As to this one pictured, unless you have big fat hands the slide seems to be mounted far enough to the rear so will not catch thumb webbing when gun is used.

Outcast

If you were referring to me, I went back and checked through all the video’s and there are a lot of these Ugly things that looked like hand grenades looking for a place to happen but I did wonder about one that was pictured. Now judging from the picture of the Glisenti model 1910, it appears that it had a much shorter cartridge than the 7.65 Argentine but possibly used the same slug. With a bullet that size put into a smaller cartridge, I fully understand the under powered aspect of the situation. In fact when a 7.65 Argentine is fired the velocity of the bullet is somewhat slower than that of a 30 (7.62), modern ammo versus older standard 7.65 loaded ammo. It carries a long ways but takes longer to get there. I just find it interesting that a 7.65 was used in a hand gun and bet that ammo would be much harder to find than the ammo for the rifle.

Ok AW, got message, read articles then look at eye candy. 1/2/0, not real great but none in the wind. Shot in foot, speculation here is dumbass shot self with accidental discharge when bullets started flying his direction. Sorry about the child but when bullets fly you do not have time to clear the area beforehand. Old lesson learned long ago, when she says get out of the car, get out of the car. What else can they throw at this loser, peeing in public or what. What is the stupid charge, attempted motor vehicle theft, he drove the car away and eventually hit an officer’s car. That sounds like motor vehicle theft and not Attempted, maybe they have a mileage limit that you have to drive to cross achieve to go from attempted to successful motor theft. 5th, we could use a guard for the brinks mobile, I have seen several other equally worthy candidates. Lost hour sleep last night so am still groggy.

3 places to not visit: Hallandale, FL; Indianapolis; Caro, MI.

Got it.

Still waiting to hear about what went on at McDonald’s here yesterday as to report of something to do with gun and police presence at the place and across the street. Was told that could have had access to police band if I had a smart phone. The problem as I see it is that the smart phone does not come with smart person and no my mother did not raise a dummy, I was very successful at this on my own.

Outcast

What I have heard so far but not confirmed as facts yet is that someone called in a bomb threat. Seems that he is one of those real smart people as to the fact that when the cops got there and searched the premises, surprise, surprise, he was sitting in the bathroom smoking crack. Possible bad snow storm coming so he must have wanted a warm place to stay during it. They seem to be getting stranger and stranger. Dave or AW1 how does this rate on weird scale, providing it is true as will probably in paper tomorrow.

Okie Dokie, nothing like a good rendition of the Saintly Brother John Moses Browning’s (Howitzer be his name) creation to start the day off. Helps bleach out the memory of the multiple pr0n pictures from yesterday. Then we get a serving of the vision of loveliness. May try to hire her as a distraction for when we load the winnings on the truck. Then Hondo had to come along and pop some bubbles. Bad Hondo, bad.

Florida, again. Didn’t we have another idiot from down there fairly recently that started some sh*t at a party resulting in a similar outcome? Good guy with a gun took out the idiot, but not before an innocent child was hurt/shot. I was shocked, shocked I tell you, by the ethninticity of the perp, and the fact that a convicted felon would posses a weapon. Thought there were laws against that?

Indy: Ass, gas, or grass; nobody rides for free. Wonder who paid for the ride to his final dirt nap place.

Caro: They missed the violation of probation and being an idiot/BLDAM charges. FTA; tasing had no effect…Just saying.

ps: Miss Thang in the pr0n pic brings to mind some Temptation’s Songs’ facts…My Girl, and no, I ain’t too proud to beg.

I wonder who will “Foot” the hospital bill for duverges foot injury from a gunshot wound. The Police, most likely will ask him to Duverge where he aquired the handgun.

Outcast

Foot injury is easily taken care of in jail, Soldering gun and sealed, Bubba can hold him down and Tiny hold leg for treatment, no anesthesia needed, BURN BABY BURN.

There was a rifle?
