Wayne Patrick Bresnahan; phony combat veteran

| July 8, 2018

Our partners at Military Phonies send us their work on this fellow Wayne Patrick Bresnahan who claims that he served in the Marine Corps special operations in two wars;

Yeah, no. He was in the Marine Corps Reserve from March 1989 – 1993 and unless Boston is in the Middle East, he didn’t see any deployments.

The military records do not support Wayne Bresnahan’s claim of many things:

L/Cpl (E-3) vs. claim of Cpl (E-4) and Sgt (E-5).
No assignments overseas. No medals to support overseas assignments/deployments.
Nothing on his Combat History page, so the claim that he fought in two wars is not supported.
He was on active duty for six months (19 JUN 1989 – 15 DEC 1989). There were no conflicts that the US was involved with during this period. Operation Just Cause was on 20 DEC 1989, but this was five days after Bresnahan was released from active duty.
Bresnahan was in the US Marine Corps Reserve. Typically, they only go on active duty to attend boot camp, advanced infantry training (School of Infantry or SOI), and perhaps some OJT (On the Job Training). Then, they are released from active duty and assigned to a Reserve Center to participate in weekend drills once a month and a two-week active duty for training each year. This appears to be what Bresnahan did with his six months of active duty. Reserve personnel are also subject to recall to active duty, but Bresnahan’s records do not show him being recalled to active duty other than the initial six months for basic and MOS training.
Trained as COMM (Communication) vs. Recon. Nothing wrong with being a COMM Marine, which is an admirable profession – he just wasn’t in Recon.
No “Special Ops”
Even counting drilling Reserve time, Bresnahan spent a little less than four (4) years in the US Marine Corps Reserve. He entered in 1989, but his 1988 claim could have included the time spent in a Delayed Entry Program. He got out in 1993 and this does not support his claim of seven (7) years. He was a drilling reservist during Operation Desert Storm but it does not appear that he or his unit were activated.

He fancies himself as a rap star, but you’ll have to go to MP to watch his crappy video.

Marine recon spec ops in two wars and multiple deployments complete with plenty of blood and death and gore…standard phony baloney bullshit right out of the poser broken-record playbook…

Ret_25X

real veterans know that most deployments = lots of waiting for something to happen with moments of stuff in between…

FatCircles0311

Lol if he doesn’t have a death before dishonor tattoo I’d be shocked. What a turd.

Love how MP obscured the face of the dog in the picture. Very thoughtful because the dog doesn’t deserve to be pictured with this loser.

Phil

MP blurred the face because his “girlfriend” shouldn’t be shamed with being associated with this sack of shit

My best guess is that this turd likes to “be touched”.

Pass, thanks.

Only four years? When was the reserve component enlistment change to six years of active drilling and two IRR?

5JC

I signed up the same year he did. It was eight years 4/4.

Remember: you cannot spell “crap” without RAP.

Or “rape”

Rap is like scissors, it ALWAYS loses to Rock!

HMC Ret

Rap music sucks. His version of rap music is just freaking horrible. It doesn’t even sound like rap. I don’t know WTF it is.

Perhaps the lad is confusing a Marine holiday toy drive where he maybe had to go into one of Boston’s shithole neighborhoods to pick up or deliver toys with two combat tours. Lighten up and give the lying sonovabitch the benefit of the doubt. I checked his Facebook photos and if claiming to be Marine Recon would get me laid by that hot blond looking over his shoulder, I would round up two road guards and someone to count Cadence and claim to be a Marine. Which brings back that old story, Johnny, why did you tell the teacher I played a piano in a whorehouse? To which Johnny replied, I didn’t want to tell them you be a Marine.

Another example of, “Oh, man, this is gonna be fun.”
I am however curious on the Scrabble count for such an unusual last name…
“Bresnahan”?
Claw, do you copy, over.

Wayne Patrick Bresnahan receives a basic Whiz Wheel™® score of 40 (apply your own multiplier)

Positive on him not being in combat, but unsure as to whether he is even considered a veteran or not as:

By utilizing a handy-dandy Julian Date Calendar, the active duty dates of 19 Jun 89 through 15 Dec 89 (for initial training purposes) works out to be 179 days.

Isn’t there something about needing to have 180 days on active duty to be considered (by the VA?) or termed a “Veteran” of the Armed Forces?

Phil

Active duty for training June 19, 1989 to December 15, 1989…Then into the active reserve.

Total service time March 30, 1989 to March 17, 1993…..yeah, the sack of shit does qualify to be a “veteran” by VA standards.

Claw

Okay, so what you’re saying is that the one 14 day AT in the summer of 1990 that he did put him “over the top” for making it past 180 days. I see no other AT periods the remainder of his Reserve time. Does the one weekend drill per month also count as “active duty” time and add up to 36 “active” days per year?

I was never in the Army Reserves so I don’t know how all that works, especially when it applies to Marine Active Reserve. Well, except for the 10 year Reserve obligation time that was annotated onto my retirement DD214 where I guess my name, rank, and MOS was spent in a file cabinet somewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hondo

Active Reserve is a different animal than serving on active duty. Active Reserve typically means assigned to a TPU and participating. Most of the time spent in such status will NOT be considered active duty for VA purposes.

AT performed by a member of the Reserve Component (along with other short tours such as ADT, ADSW, or other “man-days” tours) is considered active duty service and is counted as such when totaling an individual’s time on active duty provided actual performance of the duty can be documented (orders alone don’t cut it; orders can be revoked prior to duty being performed). Weekend “drills” are not active duty; the status there is IDT (Inactive Duty for Training).

Time spent at “Fort Living Room” while in the Reserve Components – whether assigned to the SELRES (TPU/IMA) or IRR – is not considered active duty service.

Kudos to Military Phonies for protecting the identity of his likely significant other, his innocent dog. Anyone who has the need to do this POSer shit probably only has canine or feline close friends.

Story sent via email to JAMN radio 94.5 in Boston. Will print response if they send one.

Phony Pus Sucker Wayne Patrick Bresnahan will shit when his friends start asking about this post.

unless Boston is in the Middle East, he didn’t see any deployments.

I dunno…given the choice between Bagram, Baghdad, Mattapan, or Dorchester, I’d be seriously tempted to pick the first two.

Well, there is a nightclub in Boston called “The Middle East.” Maybe he played a couple of gigs there?

Boston at one time also had an area called the “Combat Zone”. But I understand it’s largely gentrified now.

Yeah, Tremont street.
The old Scolly Square was far worse if you can go back that far.

The only Unit from the Marine Corps Reserve in Massachusetts that was called up during Desert Storm was 1/25 that is on Camp Edwards. He was at NAS South Weymouth. The reason he might have gotten a shortened reserve time, 4 instead of 6, is because they closed NAS South Weymouth about that time and the reserve units there got sent to Pennsylvania ( that is what I have heard). There were not enough slots for all those folks at Camp Edwards and in Worcester. So they may have given him an early discharge. I was a Comm guy and I have no combat time. Be proud of your service and stop making shit up, Jackass!

Daisy Cutter

I don’t know the world of rap music, but from what I’ve heard – in order to have some street cred you have to have a few criminal charges on your record.

So, maybe he’s well on his way.

Oh, that and sPeL lEyeK a Lie-CENTz pl8.

For all you post 1960’s Marines, does the Marines still use names like Sea going Bellhops, Gyrenes, gate rats, brig chasers and gun bunnies?? If I remember, Jarhead and grunt were used at the time.

HMC Ret

Welcome to your Google fame, dimwit. If you think asking for donations for real service men and women who genuinely have PTSD will earn you a pass for your douchebaggery, you are mistaken. You do that only in an attempt to validate yourself to others. You’re a lowlife smegma licker. You don’t have to be a door kicker to have had honorable service. But nooooo, you have to be a hero. Well, Google is forever and you can explain this to your kids and grandkids.

Green Thumb

Kid Style?

In his bedroom?

Mark Lauer

This guy is all kinds of fucked up mentally.

First off, he thinks Boston is in the Middle East.
It’s more in the NORTH East if you want to get technical.
And a 47 year old white RAPPER??
I wonder what size bullet hit him in the brain pan to make him start thinking that kind of shit?

rgr769

Hey, he could be “whigger” material like Eminem or good ol’ Talcum X (though not a rapper, IIRC).

RGR 4-78

His stage name could be vanilla lice.

#kidstyle ?????

What the fuck is that?!!? (In my best Mee Ermey voice)

Ex-PH2

Someone tell the idiot to grow up.

He could have, after all, volunteered for DS, couldn’t he? But he didn’t, so weekend warrior is all he’s got.

HMCS(FMF) ret

He probably did some “recon” work over at Brucie’s Bath House (Entrance in the Rear) for some “special” clients.

47 years old and playing some Vanilla Ice wanna-be… give me a fucking break.

Devil Chief

Was with 2/25 Weapons Co. out of New Rochelle NY for a little post active-duty reserve time when Saddam did his thing. Was not overly impressed with that group at that time and volunteered for active duty with the Reserve Support Command out of Cherry Point during the Gulf War instead.

Despite my misgivings for the 25th Marines during that time, he appears low speed-high drag.

Keepin' It Real

He’s like watching that movie “Malibu’s Most Wanted.”

Ya feel me?

Dis ain’t no picnic, bytch!

I never ever go against family but yes I’m fucking disturbed by this. I’ll give you a little background. Wayne’s Mother my cousin was born and bread in Southie. Both my parents and grandparents were from Southie. I came back and forth from Jersey to Southie and then South Ozone Park from the time I was in diapers till I was 22 years old. I have more story’s and more that went on in that town then this kid ever did or will. He always wanted to be the next “Whitey” when even before all the news broke out about “FBI informant” came out my older cousin Raymond who was Wayne’s uncle worked with long before most guys did or claimed to have, Ray told me about the FBI connection. I had my own young crew of guys I ran with. Not to be proud of it but this stupid fucker didn’t and doesn’t even realize how notorious some of his relatives were and how well respected in a straight up way others related to him were. My father actually died for this country after serving 22 years in the military then working undercover for the military so this to me is a fucking disgrace. So much to the point that if I have to drive back into Southie just to slap the shit outta him I will. Grow The Fuck Up!
