Police said a suspect and victim exchanged gunfire after the suspect entered the victim’s home early Saturday, October 28th near 80th and Beechwood.
It happened shortly before 1:00 a.m.
Police said after entering the home, the suspect ransacked the home and struggled with the victim, at which point shots were fired by both the suspect and victim.
Neither was struck, and the suspect fled the scene.
From Upper Merion, Pennsylvania;
An alleged serial robber who is linked to a carjacking and kidnapping in Delaware was shot by police outside the King of Prussia Mall Sunday afternoon, police tell NBC10.
The shooting happened just before 4 p.m. outside Lord and Taylor on the mall’s southern edge off Gulph Road and W. Dekalb Pike in Upper Merion, Pennsylvania, police said.
Police said the suspect tried to run down officers in the Green Parking Deck, which is connected to Lord and Taylor and Nordstrom. They opened fire, hitting the man.
The suspect was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
From Portsmouth, Virginia;
A Portsmouth city official told 10 On Your Side the officers encountered a burglary suspect at the scene. the official said officers observed what looked like a gun in the suspect’s hand. At some point, an officer fired at the suspect. The official said at least one bullet struck the suspect in the arm. Police would not confirm these details.
The suspect has non-life threatening injuries, according to Officer Ricky Wright.

King of Prussia Mall, huh? That’s a rather expensive place to try to commit a serious crime, but it seems to be the happening thing now. The more expensive malls are becoming targets. Pity.
I used to live out that way, and yeah, that mall does have some high end stores, but i think the area has gone down hill over the past decade… Another big factor is multiple major highways right there, all leading to truly shitbag neighborhoods…. makes for a good escape plan..
