Tuesday morning feel good stories

| June 20, 2017

From Macon, Georgia;

A suspected burglar is dead after breaking into an east Macon home Monday.

About 10 a.m., someone knocked on the front door of 152 Bradstone Circle and rang the doorbell. Moments later, a woman in the back of the home heard the door kicked in, Bibb County Sheriff David Davis said during a news conference.

The woman came out and yelled at the two suspects. They ran, and one of the suspects shot back at the house but hit his partner instead, Davis said.

From Chattanooga, Tennessee;

Calvin Carter III was arrested Monday, and charged with first-degree attempted murder, especially aggravated burglary, reckless endangerment, and three counts of aggravated assault, according to the arrest report.

Late Saturday night, Carter knocked on an apartment door on Mansion Circle and demanded to be let in. One victim told police he heard a metallic sound, what he thought was the receiver on a weapon being racked back and forth.

That’s when the victim jumped out of the apartment’s back window, only to be discovered by Carter. The report states Carter then led the one victim back to the apartment at gunpoint to make his way inside.

Carter then demanded the victim’s cellphone and during the exchange was jumped by his two victims, who disarmed him and held him until police arrived.

From Carolina Beach, North Carolina;

John Alexander Bracken, 28, faces charges of burglary and injury to real and personal property, reports WNCN.

Police responding to a report of a break-in at 9 p.m. Saturday found Bracken lying in the home’s front yard. Bracken had kicked in the front door of the home and a fight broke out when the resident came to investigate, police said. The resident was uninjured, but the same can’t be said for Bracken, going by his police mug shot.

I do too, but y’have to wonder why the damage is so minimal, and why the perps can stand erect. Didn’t the homeowners kick their gonads up to their tonsils?

3 incidents of thuggery. In one, the dopes were not coordinated in their run and gun tactics. One bad guy shot his buddy, killing him. In the other two incidents, the unarmed residents beat the living shit out of the thugs, giving them some impressive faces for their mug shots. It ain’t easy being stupid.

While my preference is to aim center mass and squeeze trigger, I also enjoy seeing visible evidence of a would-be predator having badly underestimated his prey.

Is it inappropriate that i still have the giggles about the dumbass in Macon shooting his buddy?

Deplorable B Woodman

Nope. Very appropriate to have the giggles.

Follow up on the Macon incident, the deceased critter has a record going back to 1992 for taking things that don’t belong to him. he was released on parole from his latest stint in the graybar hotel in August of last year following a 2010 conviction. This time its safe to say he won’t be a repeat offende. His buddy hasn’t been caught yet.
