Matthew Curtis Green and phony Purple Heart license plates

One of our ninjas send us a link to the Jackson, Tennessee Sun which reports that Matthew Curtis Green is charged with criminal impersonation, criminal simulation, forgery, theft and improper display of military decoration after a month-long investigation by local law enforcement.
Apparently, he forged a DD214 so he could get Purple Heart license plates;
The Purple Heart license plate is provided at no charge to Purple Heart recipients.
Sheriff’s Office investigators also found multiple U.S. Marine Corps uniforms with the ranks of staff sergeant, gunnery sergeant and master gunnery sergeant. According to the release, all the uniforms had the rank insignia displayed, along with campaign ribbons that Green did not earn.
I hope it was worth it for him, you know, free license plates traded for jail time. The article isn’t clear about whether he really served or not.

Just another “Phildosical” dude.
I have a funny feeling he will be getting some “criminal stimulation” soon.
I am actually familiar with this town as well.
I think the local LE/Judicial system will follow through.
And I am going to make a call.
Small world.
From the Big Four: Bubba, Thor, Julio and “Mr. Tiny”. TAH should send those guys some canteen money for their assistance in corrective action against SV a**holes. (no pun intended!)
Someone could pay the “boys” for MATTHEW CURTIS GREEN’s “anal dilation therapy” sessions…
Felching assclown…
Do you actually get anything for the PH plates in Tennessee?
In Arizona all you get is to pay extra money for the plate.
I was incredulous that any state would charge for a PH plate so I checked it out. The bastards.
Where I am its 10 bucks.
And that money goes to the cemetery.
They call it a cemetery fee. I think it might be optional, but I pay it.
Well now that’s just morose.
They charge for PH plates (as well as for a MOH plate) here in Idaho.
$35.00 for initial issue and then $25.00 extra in fees for each year after.
They are considered specialized (vanity) plates and you will pay for the privilege of having been combat wounded.
Inglorious Money Grubbing Basterds.
You forgot “Ingrates.” Bastards. Yet on Veterans Day, all of those DMV/MVA and other state offices are closed. My view is that they should give off only to Veterans. Those who work for private companies or themselves and can’t take off should be paid a bonus. Yeah!
Yep, and here’s the kicker on that (to add insult to injury).
If the county here where I live has their way, I’ll be pulling jury duty on Election Day and Veterans Day.
I have to call the prerecorded message after 1800 today to see if I have to report on Monday morning for duty.
Wish me luck. Ingrate Basterds, the lot of them.
Claw … I put down on the jury form that I am a Vietnam TBI .. and for some reason they don’t call me…
Our jury questionnaire had no reference to any military service and I’m not volunteering any info (although I am a Vietnam vet also), so the surprise will be on them if I go all unmedicated vet on their asses.
Basically, all they wanted to know was if I was ambulatory and breathing and owned a automobile.
Better yet get drunk and over medicated.
There you go making sense, again.
They charge for them here in Florida as well! I always get picked for a jury, even when I say I would like to hang the bastards! They always pick me for the jury? Of course, I always convince the rest of them to vote my way……..
Federalism in action. License plates are a state concern, and the voters of any state that charges extra for a PH plate are free to change that via electing a different group of legislators.
1st two Purple Heart plates seem to be free in TN. Can’t find anything about waiver of vehicle taxes in TN, though. Some states do that for PH recipients.
http://www.purpleheart.org/Downloads/Bank/Headquarters/PurpleHeartLicensePlates.pdf
The first two plates are free though you might have to pay a $2.50 issuance fee. As to Wheel Tax, that is on a county by county basis. Most counties don’t have a wheel tax and the ones that do tend to not charge military type plates.
To be far about the plate fee …
Purchase an Arizona Veterans License Plate: $17 of the $25 special plate fee goes to the Arizona Veterans Donation Fund, which is used in many ways to help Arizona’s veteran community:
Veteran Health Care
Veteran Education
Veteran Memorial Cemeteries (maintenance)
State Veteran’s Homes (currently Phoenix & Tucson)
I saw that but that pissed me off, too. I guess it’s a special users’ fee or potential users’ fee. Worse, it probably buys furniture for worthless bureaucrats who work in those places listed. And then there’s that remaining $8. I guess that’s General Fund money that can be used to provide police protection at Code Pink rallies or something. They remain, to me, a bunch of bastards.
Maybe a volunteer will shoot the loser through both cheeks of his butt and give him a “Purple Butt” award lol
Charges: criminal impersonation, criminal simulation, forgery, theft and improper display of military decoration. Doh. Hats off to LEO in that burg. He wasn’t released on his own recognizance either. He’s got bail set: $7500. Nice. Just in time for Veterans Day.
I don’t see criminal intent.
He should get off scott free.
/s
The Hillary defense. I think we’re gonna see that more often than we’d like!
Uniforms were just cloth. /s
That was all surplus stuff that nobody wanted, and it was Halloween, anyway.
I apologize if I missed it in here somewhere, but was this guy ever actually in the Marine Corps at some point, and if so, in what capacity?
Nope, Mick, you didn’t miss it. It wasn’t reported in the story.
My guess is a Boot Camp washout, with an early discharge for bedwetting and a mangina rash.
Jack Ass
Enjoy you google fame
Turd Burglar…
Cocksucker.
“Green is held in the Gibson County Correctional Complex on $7,500 bond. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 8 at 9 a.m. in Trenton.”
Is the trial before or after he votes for Hillary? /s
Good one
From the looks of it, I’m reasonably confident that his DNA predates the TVA by a few hundred years
Shitbag!
Let’s hope he ends up MAKING license plates.
Aw, man, I totally missed that this guy was in Tennessee.
Here’s probably my favorite John Hiatt song:
Turd.
