Nine years of This Ain’t Hell

| September 23, 2015

Nine years ago this day, I was put in a time out at the Conservative forum, Right Nation, and I got tired of being muted, so I started this blog. I knocked around the internet trying to find my niche and started out by exposing the anti-war protesters, mainly the military folks who lied about their service to get media attention.

I met TSO at the Iraq Veterans Against the War Winter Soldiers performance art series where we chuckled through the testimony. I brought him to the blog soon after. IVAW kind of petered out after we shined the light of Truth on the organization and it’s membership, so then we kind of switched over to finding general phonies as a sideline to commentary on military matters.

These days we spend more time talking with lawyers than we spend writing stuff, but the fun never ends. Last year we had over 3.8 million unique visitors my first year as a full-time blogger. There are now countless folks who do what we used to do by ourselves in regards to Stolen Valor. However, I don’t see the phonies going the way of the communists at IVAW, though. More phonies are ending up in court because of their bad behavior, so that’s always good.

Folks are always asking me about my health, so I’ll tell you that things are the same now as they were last year – you know, the year that I beat the DRC’s death clock. Unfortunately for them, I’m probably going to outlast all of them, despite their predictions. The quality of my life will be a lot better, too, mostly thanks to the VA coming through for me in most instances.

My birthday gift will come out of the California Bar Association, though.

Congratulations, Jonn. My ideas rarely align with many here, but I absolutely appreciate the fact that this site exists. I hope it only continues to grow in the years ahead.

Red Ghost

Happy Anniversary Jonn and thanks for all you do. I came for the Stolen Valor and I stayed for the community of veterans. And to continue laughing at the sorry bastards who continue to appropriate what they never earned. Here’s to many more years!

Glad you chose to start this blog. I enjoy it. And I share a lot of the views on here. I might be extreme at times, but I love this country, despite the people and things that seem to wish its destruction, and the demolition of the US Constitution. Jonn, thank you so much for doing this. I also enjoy hearing from the other posters as well.

BTW, when is Bernath going to realize his goose is cooked and just accept his consequences, and then fade out in a quiet and poofish manner?

Reb

Not until October second OR when he STFU!

Just an Old Dog

Other than Disbarring him what else can the Ca Bar do to this shit-stain?
I know there is the possibility of him being forced to pay the costs of court fees,,, (10 appearances, plus whatever else they had to do to get him there).
Can they jail the son of a cock-smoking clapped up skank for contempt?

Silentium Est Aureum

No, but several counts of perjury is a nice substitute, or perhaps a stint as a guest of the state of Florida should they choose to prosecute him for pretending to be a lawyer when not licensed in FL.

Richard

I spent a couple hours last night reading his accusations and motions in the Florida suit and Jonn’s counter-claims. I am no lawyer but I can read. The difference between the language used by Jonn’s lawyer and Bernath is like Strunk & White versus Elmer Fudd. That is a lousy comparison but regardless of his famous joke Shakespeare is not right for this. Lawyer talk is lawyer talk but when done well it is tight, persuasive, and minimal. This is done well.

Bernath is verbose and poisonous. There is an attempt to be persuasive but the effect is ruined when he falls off the wagon and at great length maligns the people with tawdry slime instead of talking about the issues or the law.

Again, I am no lawyer but if I was the judge in Florida I would hammer Bernath for wasting the court’s time.

Give Jonn some bucks, click on his page links, this cannot be free.

Oh, the poor Bernath will be disbarred and stealing from a client and threatened to sue her if she didn’t settle for $500. He signed the check without a Power of Attorney and shredded her whole file. Then tried to get a license to practice law in Oregon. We all know that outcome. After all cases against him are over, done, finished I’ll be crawling up his ass as soon as they extract Dallass clown from it. My agent is putting a great case together for making threats, misidentification of me on a child molester rapist websites. Then the emails from the SOB and Dallass clown is way beyond harassment. If the Federal Prosecutor says the case is solid and he’s filing, I’ll be doing cartwheels. BERNATH WILL GET HIS.

Sunday will be a day of mourning by TN Governor to honor LT. Alexander “Sandy” Bonneymen who finally came home from where he died During WWII. There is a Military cemetery in Los Angeles and we’ll stay to leave flower’s at the marker of a WW11 KIA, the first one we see. Welcome home LT. You’ve waited patiently to come home. Thank you for your ultimate sacrifice for your country.

Happy birthday TAH. I followed a link from Guardians of Valor facebook page a couple of years ago and have stuck around. Thank you for all you do here.

Nine years in blogging is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations! Here’s hoping the fun continues to outweigh the rest.

I couldn’t put it any better than this. Can’t remember how I found this site but I’m here checkin’ it out a couple of times a week. All time favorite is probably Round Ranger.
Thanks for what you do.

Happy Birthday! I found this site in its early years and have pretty much been reading tah daily. After iretired, we lived off the grid in the mountains of northern Arizona for over ten years and in one of my winter cabin fever moments I googled: this ain’t hell and found this site. Thank you for all you do.

Jonn,

You’ve done fantastic work all these years. I’m so appreciative you took the ball and ran with it. You’ve hung in there through all kinds of crap and put up with all kinds of BS. Not to mention all the time and funds you personally put into this site, or the numerous threats throughout the years. You, my friend, have my utmost respect. Keep hanging in there. There’s so much left to do.
An very appreciative old grunt.

Happy blogday to you, happy blogday to you.

I first met you and TSO in the Great Hall of Tears, aka WS II back then, and they expelled you for unexpected perceptiveness. I still think that IVAW’s scalp belongs on your belt. Along with those of many many wannabes since. Congratulations and thanks. And wishing you many more.

Eden

Catching up from the past few days, but wanted to wish Jonn and TAH a very happy anniversary. HOOAH!

Haywire Angel

Happy late Birthday TAH, and please keep up the good work Jonn!
