Monday morning feel good stories

| July 27, 2015

This morning, we start off with a jewelry store heist in Houston, Texas where a young man went shopping for high-end booty with which he could turn his life around. Instead, he found a less than cooperative clerk who dispensed some hi-velocity jewelry to his now-empty noggin. It is hard to tell from the story if he was DRT or DOT, though. I’m guessing that he was dead right there.

Outside of Houston, at a convenience store, an off-duty police officer found himself in the middle of a robbery. When he told the two gentlemen to “Freeze!”, they didn’t and a gunfight ensued. The two fellows made good their escape, but officers found their vehicle nearby and stained with blood. No one else was injured despite the fact that the store was pretty busy as you can see in this video. The cameraman was ducking and running, though, so it’s not as graphic as you might hope;

DRT or DOT, either one is good, just so long as it’s “D”.

Dead is dead, and each time it means one less goblin getting fed, clothed, housed, and doctored at taxpayers’ expense!

So the wannabe robber thought that the Jewwelry was more important than his life. I determined long ago that anything that I have, from my life to the least item of mine is worth more than the life of someone who might try to take it from me.
Consistant, daily range time, using various weapons, in various scenarios helps me to be prepared for whatever may ensue.

Hmm. Three total perps, at least 2 with newly-acquired body piercings through high-speed lead injection under non-sanitary field conditions (maybe all 3), with 1 doing the long dirtnap.

In baseball parlance, at least a 2 for 3 day at the plate with at least 1 HR. Not bad.

Hope the cops find the other wounded dirtbag(s) soon.

Why find them “soon”, Hondo? Let the infection work for awhile, to better instill a strong memory of that night that they took a wrong turn in life. Perhaps the delayed treatment can cause them to never ever try this again, and optimistically, cause them to stop stealing oxygen that could be consumed by good citizens.

I’d prefer the police find them soon as they’re a proven danger to others. They could well try this crap again.

Frankly, I’d shed no tears if the authorities found the remains for both after they’d ceased consuming oxygen. But I’d prefer to see them off the street soonest, however that happens.

Well, if they aren’t DRN, I hope they’re crying in an empty building somewhere.

More cleanup from Hurricane Katrina? Or taking out the home grown trash?
