Tuesday morning feel good story

| May 6, 2014

Chief Tango sends us our feel good story this morning from Georgia;

According to police, Gary Lynn McClimans II was attempting to make contact with his ex-wife when officers were called out to the scene and issued a verbal trespassing warning for him to leave.

Shortly after the warning, authorities said McClimans kicked in the front door and the homeowner, Jason Brown, fired two shots, hitting him in the chest.

“Witnesses are telling us he returned in a hurried manner, pulled into the driveway and left his car door open, ran up to the front door and started kicking it in,” said Decatur Police Captain Vincent Baer.

Two to the chest. That should have ended the story right there. Obviously, not enough caliber. But, on a happy note, no further range time needed.

Old Trooper

.45caliber; because shooting twice is silly.

Old Trooper I agree. With the price of ammo these days, you want as much knock down power as possible on each center mass hit.

MAJMike

Yup, .45JHP will make an impression.

And THAT’s why doorways are known as “Fatal Funnels.” Note to all the .mil and leo guys in the audience – don’t lollygag as you come through the door. Enter quickly and move to your sector of dominance.

Thankfully the homeowners are okay.
