Choi arrested at White house again

| August 21, 2011

There was a protest at the White House again yesterday, and Dan Choi couldn’t resist being there, ya know because he’s so worried about his trial for the last time he was arrested there. This protest had nothing to do with “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”. It was to protest the Trans-Canada Pipeline. From Canada’s Globe and Mail;

Bill McKibben, a leading environmentalist and one of the organizers of the two-week protest, was among those arrested. Gay rights activist Dan Choi was also removed by police as he took part in the so-called sit-in.

So I guess Choi is part of the rent-a-mob protesters. I wonder why he’s against jobs for Americans?

The International Brotherhood of Teamsters, one of the largest and most influential unions in the U.S., backs the project, saying it will create 1,500 jobs for its members. But on Friday two other major unions — the Transport Workers Union and the Amalgamated Transit Union — said they’re opposed because of environmental concerns.

But, then again, i guess Choi is an expert on “laying pipe”. And it’s nice to see that he finally bought some clothes and quit wearing his uniform to protests.

Thanks to melony for the link.

At least he wasn’t in uniform his time.

NHSparky

Might have been better. Who the hell wears a suit jacket/tie with JEANS?

Oh, and what’s the gay equivalent of jumping the shark?

CI

I don’t know what the equivalent is, but good point.

I respect his right to protest, might have been one of the reasons why he enlisted in the first place.

If what he did was merely exercise his so-called right to protest (so-called because there is no such right), he would not be in cuffs. I’m guessing he just likes the free cavity searches.

TSO

He just needs to pay us taxpayers back already. Tired of this assclown. He has some SERIOUS mental issues that he needs worked out soon.

Choi is a professional activist. Expect to see him at other events. He probably even gets a cash bonus when he’s actually handcuffed. For this and the other WH gig, he’ll get a slap on the wrist. This administration isn’t going to severely punish, let alone slap the wrist of one of its own.

melony

@7 – Oh am sure … seems like the next 2 months are going to have all the commies here, there and everywhere…

You know people would be a lot less likely to do horse shit like this if you I dunno actually punished them. You couldn’t scare up a hippie within 20 miles if they were lookin at at least a year in Federal Prison

#10 Doc: protesting is an industry. Do you really want Code Pink, Choi, and the rest of the usual suspects hanging around your neighborhood unemployed? In this economy?? Besides, this gives the DC police something to do besides go into the community and police.
