British journalist detained at U.S. airport after criticizing Israel
Story by Camilla Jessen
British journalist and political commentator Sami Hamdi was detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at San Francisco International Airport on Sunday morning, according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).Hamdi, who is known for his outspoken criticism of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, was in the United States on a speaking tour when he was taken into custody.
CAIR denounced the detention as a “blatant defiance of free speech” and claimed Hamdi is being punished solely for his political views.
“He faces deportation for no other reason than criticizing a foreign government, which we accuse of genocide,” CAIR said, vowing legal support.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) confirmed that Hamdi’s visa has been revoked. In a statement posted online, DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin said: “Those who support terrorism and undermine the national security of the United States will not be authorized to work or visit this country.”

‘You deserve this’: Women attack married couple outside 7-Eleven with Patron tequila bottle in violent road rage assault, police say
Story by Conrad Hoyt
Two Florida women are accused of attacking a couple with a tequila bottle and trying to enter their vehicle in a violent road rage incident just north of Miami.Kim Aime, 26, has been charged with burglary — assault or battery, two counts of battery, resisting an officer without violence to his person, and drug charges, per Miami-Dade County jail records. Marlene Edward, 25, stands charged with aggravated battery causing bodily harm, the same burglary with assault or battery charge, and her own drug charges.
Sometime before 1 p.m. Sunday, a married couple was driving west on Northeast 167th Street, approaching Northeast 2nd Avenue, according to arrest affidavits obtained by Law&Crime. It was at this time that they saw a woman “driving her vehicle recklessly” and almost crashing into their vehicle.
Both vehicles stopped at the intersection. The car in question, being driven by Aime and in which Edward was a passenger, parked “in the middle of traffic, obstructing the roadway,” authorities said. Then the violence broke out.

Officers arrived and noted the alleged victims’ injuries. The wife had “visible blood in her mouth, with a laceration to her lip, along with a knot on the right end of her scalp, and visible swelling on the top of her gums,” the affidavit says. The husband had a cut and blood on his hand, “knots visible on the back of his head,” and cuts on his ankle.Aime and Edward were arrested at the scene, and their vehicle was searched. The search uncovered two debit cards, neither of them belonging to Aime or Edward, authorities said. Also found were more than 34 grams of cannabis, as well as 3 grams of suspected cocaine.

Surprised no one was shot.
One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.

Well, now we know who really started up the violence in Gaza again. Can’t trust anyone from Florida.
Hey now!
Florida (wo)man strikes again!
(are we sure its not two trans men?)
Is Florida trying to regain its top spot for weird people? If so, good job!
And yes, I’m also surprised that the two idiots weren’t shot in self defense.
Remember kids, fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go the life.
Lesson learned (hopefully) for the married couple.
Someone reaches inside your car, for ANY reason, the window goes up. If the assaulter is stoopid enough, their hand/arm is trapped.
If there’s enough space in the traffic, start to drive away.
‘Nuff said.
That would be your window of opertunity to step on the gas. seeing the car zooming by dragging the lady down the street would be a real gas.
WELL PLAYED.
Much kudos and applause!
Thanks TD
Many cars have a child-safety feature where, if the window encounters resistance on its way up, it auto-reverses to free the child.
Unfortunately the window cannot distinguish between a child and a perp.
Hopefully the husband and wife are ok, get training, and start packing. Stop that stupid before they hurt you.
On these rifles our beloved AW1Ed is showing us: I wonder, with those scope placements, how many eyebrows have been altered?
Very little recoil from an Arisaka – it’s a fairly heavy rifle with a cartridge that has a bit less power than a .308. Very similar in recoil to a M96 Mauser shooting 6.5×55.
I have to say, while their sniper setup has limitations, for a KISS adaptation it’s almost unrivaled as a sniper rifle.
Re Tox’es comment onn CAIR – wouldn’t you think if Trump really WAS a dictator, he would have already banned SPLC, CAIR, ACLU et al by now?
My Dad bought me an Arisaka back before paperwork at an antigue store for $25.00. Sold it to a friend. Had a chance to buy an Owen Sub gun from my Volly Fire dept Doctor who bought it at the Lionel Train store in Lynbrook Long Island. Was plugged in the front of the barrel but Working for Brinks I was careful and didn’t buy it. I mentioned the story a couple of years ago and Ranger 769 mentioned that the old way was no longer used and the gun had to be cut along the receiver de-miling it. My Doc was in Viet of the Nam and he suffered injuries when a rocket landed near him when he was helping a wounded Soldier. He ended up writing pain prescriptions for himself and got in trouble. Had to get his shit squared away and had to go around to schools talking about using drugs and kept his Licence.
I was offered a M-2 full auto carbine. A widow was trying to sell her deceased husband’s guns. One of my retired sheriff shooting buddies told me I could get it for a great price. I declined as I was not willing to risk a trip to the gray bar hotel and losing my law license.
The report is from CAIR. (Can’t call it “news”, ’cause it ain’t)
I wouldn’t trust it as far as I could throw it over my left shoulder with my right arm.
The only part that might be true is the name of the presstitute, Sami Hamdi.
The rest is all spin and propaganda.
Just saying.
Our family when I was growing up lived off all that Gubberment surplus stuff.
Dad earned too much to qualify for it directly. So we knew a bunch of neighbors who DID qualify. So every month he would take them down to the warehouse, they would pick up EVERYTHING they qualified for, Dad would take them back home. They would give us the stuff they didn’t want – cheese, powdered milk, pasta, I don’t remember what else. But it was enough to feed us (5 children) & assist the family food budget. It wasn’t fancy, but it was plenty, wholesome, nourishing, and we were thankful.
That cheese was tuff stuff.
Barter system works well.
I have often said one may put a sack of wheat on any street corner in the world except in the USA (except in an Amish village) and someone would know what to do with it.
Put a sack of wheat on a street corner in any big city USA and the only thing you’d attract is liberals protesting you didn’t think of those who can’t digest wheat.
There has to be a warehouse of C rations somewhere in the USA, maybe next to the Ark of the Covenant. If I could eat C rations, anyone could. Save the MRE’s for the GI’s.
I used to wonder why the Ham and M’Fukrs didn’t come with a bar of ExLax…..
I remember the pound cake; I liked the pound cake. ‘course I never dropped one on my foot.
The GB family lived on that for a while.
Hadn’t killed us yet.
That ‘Government Cheese’ was really good
Except it would never melt. Couldn’t make decent mac & cheese or grilled cheese sammiches.
CPT Blaha just had hid clearance suspended:

Blaha is now having an “Aha” moment as he enters the “find out” phase. Dumbass.
IMHO, blathering Blaha is not bright enough to be an O-3. He obviously is either stupid and/or has extremely poor judgment if he thought he could counsel mass insubordination and thought there would be no FO from his FAFO event.
In the military, mass insubordination is generally a bad idea. Malicious compliance, on the other hand, can be a very effective tool.
