Officer thrown onto hood of car by suspect who soon crashed into lake, police say

Story by Zoë Shriner
CLINTON, Mo. (KCTV) – Clinton police have arrested a man they say hit an officer with a car before crashing it into a lake.

On Oct. 19, the Clinton Police Department was dispatched to a gas station after a woman called saying she had been assaulted and wasn’t allowed to leave.

When officers arrived, they spoke to a suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Mikeal Antonio Farr, who was in his car and refused to get out. He then allegedly put the car into reverse, hitting one of the officers and throwing him onto the hood of his patrol car.

Officers began chasing Farr, but reportedly stopped when he crashed his car into Turman Lake and took off running into the lake. He was arrested soon after.

It takes a certain, special talent to crash into a freakin’ lake.

Gun control? It’s the best thing you can do for crooks and gangsters. I want you to have nothing. If I’m a bad guy, I’m always gonna have a gun. Safety locks? You will pull the trigger with a lock on, and I’ll pull the trigger. We’ll see who wins.

I wonder how many points on his driver’s license all of the above is good for? And are they enough to revoke said driver’s license?
