AWR Hawkins
A 7-Eleven customer in Dania Beach, Florida, shot an alleged robber and his getaway driver Saturday night, killing the getaway driver and holding the alleged thief for police. The Sun Sentinel reported a 19-year-old allegedly robbed the customer in the parking lot of the business, then went inside and robbed the clerk. When the 19-year-old emerged from inside the 7-Eleven the customer had retrieved a firearm and opened fire, wounding him.
NBC Miami noted that the customer then held the 19-year-old at gunpoint and, while so doing, someone driving a Honda CR-V allegedly tried to run him over.
The customer was able to get out of the path of the CR-V and open fire, fatally wounding the 40-year-old driver.
Police found the CR-V “a few blocks away” at a location where the wounded driver crashed. The driver was a taken to a hospital, where he died.

Now THAT is taking care of business!
Holding one perp while defending yourself against/shooting at a second perp.
Mutitasking done right.
First read I assumed he used an AK. Nothing wrong with
having one in car.
More details and a video of the shooting here:

Not sure why he was detained for questioning, the video seems to answer a lot of questions.
It’s called due diligence.
Jay-zuss. Those “witness” statements are beyond logic.
Basically; “I dint see nofin bout wat happin, buut I fink it wuz rong.”
In other words, you don’t want to go shootin’ a brothah fo’ robbin’ jus cuz he be doin whut he doin to live hiz livin.
My loving GOD I am so sick and tired of my Dark Green Marine Brothers having to live within this world view.
It breaks my heart every single day.
As ol’ Samuel L. Jackson said:
AK-47 – the only thing the USSR made that was any good.
If, as it seems, the good guy had been held up earlier then got his gun to stop the bad guys, the news report is a good example of why you have to maintain some skepticism about news reports. They kept repeating that the “bystander saw and decided to get involved” – naw, bro. The first victim decided to put an end to it.
IDK about that. The T-34, which 91 years later are still in service a few places, was ahead of it’s time. Too bad the leadership was awful early war. The AN-225 was a wonder of engineering, too bad they blew it up. The Mig-29 is essentially the AK 47 of the fighter world.
The soviets did sometimes make some good stuff.
“In certain situations, I do think you need to leave it alone, especially in a robbery situation,” said area resident Trey Brown.
After being robbed yourself?
I caught that too.
I need to get that softie’s address, so next time there’s a robber in the area, I’ll point him to that address, see what Mr Softie has to say about “leave it alone” after HE’s been robbed.
