That scenario with A*hole One approaching A*hole Two with a bat……reminds me of the scene in Indiana Jones where Indy shoots the swordsman.
(I’d post a link, but this is a kindle)

Y’know, during an extremely poor yearstatiioned in CA the wife and I went to see this movie – and both swear Indy looks at the giant swordfighter and said something like “ah, hell” before he shot the guy. It has been edited out of EVERY viewing since, but you can see Indy’s lips move clearly.
I can hear The Hollies singing “Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress”.
Sick minds DO think alike, Tox. What real man doesn’t love a Tall Chilly Female wearing dark clothes?…or even a little fun sized girl that’s wearing NO clothes? Only way that LBD could look better is if was tossed to the side while that Lovely Lass had her way with me.
“Starting to see a theme today.” Indeed! All were potential considerations for the SPoTW Thread because teh stoopid was strong. A machete is just a big knife, one will always strike out when one takes a bat to a gunfight, and…Dude!?! Took a knife AND a gun to an attempt to win back her love? And still lost out? WTF! Pro tip…next time try flowers, candy, a romantic dinner, or even…not being an a**hole to her to begin with.
Does that Lahti come with a dog team…so it can go dashing thru the snow?
Obligatory salute to today’s Ms. Thang…just for you, Tox
