St. Louis man shoots and kills robbery suspect while stopping at gas station for bathroom break
St. Louis police say the customer got a handgun from his car, then went back and confronted the suspect

By Ronn Blitzer
Police say a 26-year-old man was on a “violent crime spree” targeting multiple gas stations in St. Charles, Mo., early Saturday morning when a customer taking a bathroom break at a third station shot and killed him.

The St. Charles Police Department said they were already investigating an armed robbery at one gas station and a burglary at another when they received reports of shots fired at a third: a Quik Trip location roughly 22 miles outside St. Louis.

“Police Officers arrived to discover the suspect had been shot by a citizen during the armed robbery. The suspect was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased,” St. Charles police said in a Facebook post.

A bit too much information in the title, Ronn.

Defense attorneys say fatal shooting of man who confronted squeegee workers with baseball bat was in self-defense; suspect held without bond

By Jessica Anderson
The 15-year-old squeegee worker accused of fatally shooting a 48-year-old man wielding a baseball bat near the Inner Harbor last week was acting in self-defense and should not be tried as an adult, his attorneys said Friday.

Timothy Reynolds, the Hampden man who was killed, was the instigator, the defense attorneys said, because he crossed several lanes of traffic to confront the youths with the bat at the busy intersection July 7.

“This isn’t your typical first-degree murder charge,” attorney J. Wyndal Gordon said at a bail review hearing Friday. “This is a 14-year-old child paralyzed by fear.”

The teen was 14 at the time of the shooting; his birthday was the following day, Gordon said.

Police arrested the teen at an apartment in Essex on Thursday morning. He appeared over video in district court Friday afternoon for a bail review hearing where District Judge Theresa C. Morse, ordered him to remain in custody without bond, citing the seriousness of the crime.

The Baltimore Sun is not naming the suspect because he is a minor.

Indiana shopping mall shooter shot dead by armed ‘good Samaritan,’ police say
Multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the scene

By Bradford Betz | Fox News
At least four people, including the shooter, are dead and others are injured following a shooting at a shopping mall in the suburbs of Indianapolis, according to local reports.

Greenwood Chief James Ison said “a good Samaritan with a handgun” at the scene killed the shooter. He said two others were wounded and are being treated in area hospitals.

The shooter has only been described as an adult male. Police said he had a long rifle and several magazines of ammunition.

Officers responded to a call regarding an active shooter at the Greenwood Park Mall in Greenwood, Indiana just after 6 p.m.

Pretty sure this reporting could be more vague, but not without effort. Expect to see this “Good Guy With A Gun” story splashed all over the national media.

Riiight.

And after many long, arduous, and sleepless hours, we are presented with a FGS DRT trifecta. WW is smiling fit to split his head in half. Well done, TAH crew. Take a bow.

The struggle is for shore reeelz sometimes Tox. We’re not certain as to why self defense stories are suppressed on the national news feeds but here we are.

Still wonder if ex wifey # 2 actually had her purse stolen with my 4″ 686 in it or there was another reason it came up missing.

It is up to us to defend ourselves from the law now.

The good guy with a gun at the mall was mentioned on WFTL 850AM radio this morning and I doubt it will be covered by the lame stream media like cnn and msnBS.

There was a good write up this morning in the Daily Mail but
even they have “disappeared” the story by noon.
Can’t find it anywhere now.

I don’t know what the squeege worker was doing with a pistol at age 14. Their laws may be different, but in Texas even my 20-year-old granddaughter is not allowed to carry or get her LTC.
The kid may be in trouble for having a gun, and given their location may get prosecuted. In Texas, you couldn’t find a jury to convict a kid that had to defend themselves, even if they weren’t supposed to be carrying.

Bodymore, Murderland. Nothing makes sense there. Unless your part of the idiotic society that keeps voting these corrupt criminals into power.

Three years in that hellhole. It was kind of like a long deployment. Deployment to Baltimore.

So glad I got out of there.

Last night I happened to be watching the presser for the mall incident. Some bleeding heart, tiny brained journo attempted to press the Chief about the prevalence of firearms in the general public now that Indiana has Constitutional Carry.

A heavily annoyed and clearly sympathetic Chief, “…I’m not going to comment on that, it’s inappropriate at this time, not going there…”

He’d even described the actions of the intervening Citizen as ‘heroic’.

Law Enforcement was made prouder that day.

The Woke Left have their panties all twisted that someone with a gun who stopped an scribe shooter is being called a “Good Samaritan”.

How the hell does “active” end being “scribe”? Hack Stone is going to file a complaint with the IT procurement staff. The Vice President of the proud but humble woman owned business that sells software to the federal government formerly located in Bethesda Maryland is going to hear about this.
