Store Robbed Twice But Employee is Ready For Round Three
by Brian Armstrong
This isn’t the only time criminals have robbed a tobacco store in the past few months. And it’s unlikely it’s going to be the last. This week, three armed men tried to rob a place in Rock Island, Illinois, but they chose a terrible location.“I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT TRYING TO STAY CALM, STAY STILL BECAUSE THEY HAD THE GUN RIGHT IN OUR FACES,” THE STORE CLERK TOLD KWQC.
An employee was able to get a gun kept by the business owner because of two previous robberies. So when the crooks threatened a person pulling up, the clerk “emptied his magazine.”
“THIS MAN LOOKED ME IN THE EYES AND SAID, ‘YOU HAVE KIDS AT HOME? YOU HAVE A FAMILY AT HOME? I DO. I WANNA GO HOME. DO YOU WANNA GO HOME TONIGHT?’ AS THEY WERE EXITING THE STORE, I SAW HIM POINT THE FIREARM TOWARDS A CUSTOMER THAT WAS PULLING UP, AND THAT’S WHEN I EMPTIED THE MAGAZINE INTO HIM.”

GBI: Deputy fatally shot intruder found leaving his home
ATLANTA (AP) — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at the home of a sheriff’s deputy.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation said in a statement that the Fulton County deputy was returning home from work late Saturday when an alert from his security system showed a man breaking into his Atlanta home.
The deputy arrived home to find the same man walking away carrying tools and other items, the GBI said. The deputy followed until the man stepped off the road into some woods. The agency says the uniformed deputy left his car and followed the man into the woods, where the deputy shot him during an altercation.

The <b>METH</b> addicted thieves are fools who just don’t appreciate that there are those of us who see everything we own as being “essential”. If anyone at all attempts to take what is mine, from my life to the smallest of my wrenches, I will regard it as an attempt to lessen the quality of my life and react accordingly.
Well crap! Our ability to use HTML has been taken from us.
Oh well, I suppose it is for the greater good and that someone somewhere appreciates the change.

Thanks, AW1, that works great.
I am terrible at HTML.Two (2) DRTs and one (1) critically WRT is a very good start to the work week. And when you add the best example of shoulder fired Artillery…EVAH? A very good start, indeed. His Most Saintly JMB (HBHN) smiles!
Aaaah, mon cher, but the A-5 is second. The faithful M-1918 Browning Automatic Rifle, (in the hands of a true marksman), is the BEST example of shoulder fired Artillery.
I was thinking more along the lines of a Howitzer (be his name), you know…like a 12 pounder Nap, double shotted with canister 1/4 second fuse, V a rifled 10 pounder Parrot Gun with a Hotchkiss round. But I do lubs me an M1918 BAR for reaching out and touching. Party with Arty!
I don’t know how many other commenters here ever actually carried a BAR during their military times, (It was discontinued somewhere around 1964-’65 for most units.), But I did, and know it to be one hell of an accurate rifle.
19.5 lbs plus 13 two pound magazines, made for a load for the AR gunner, but it was worth it.
Uh-oh, W. VA done missed all the memos…

When in doubt, empty the magazine!
Definitely, Jason.
Meanwhile, with everything going on right now, progressives feel this is the big deal:

“The uniformed deputy left his car and followed the man into the woods…..” where he made sure his was the only story told to his fellow police officers.
