By Jesse O’Neill
Gov. Mike Parson, a Republican, announced Tuesday that he pardoned Mark McCloskey, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, and Patricia McCloskey, who pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment. The couple had been initially indicted on felony charges. The McCloskeys, both in their 60s, said they felt threatened during the June 2020 demonstrations, one of countless similar marches across the country in response to George Floyd’s death.
They also said the protesters were illegally marching in a Central West End gated community.
Mark, who has capitalized on his ensuing notoriety and will run for US Senate as a Republican, came out of his home with an AR-15-style rifle, while Patricia waved a semiautomatic pistol, according to court records.

A militia, when properly formed, are in fact the people themselves…and include all men capable of bearing arms. — Richard Henry Lee, Additional Letters from the Federal Framer (1788) at p. 169

I suspected that the Fargo event would come back to haunt him. It really was a stupid thing to do.
Hell, the pawn shop had his description, probably security video, plenty of witnesses, identification of the get away vehicle, this was not a moment:
“…justified only when undertaken to prevent imminent and otherwise unavoidable danger of death or grave bodily harm to the innocent”.

As to McCloskeys… no. He/they are NOT republicans, even by Missouri standards. On the uptick, he could be useful as capitalist democrat in a sea of socialist degenerates.
Defending your property and life are not the finest recommendations for being a Senator but I’m confident that he/they can expand their personal fortunes, handsomely, give the opportunity to “serve”.
Gun girl does nothing for me. How about a Pam Dawber lookalike with a Browning Citori?
Those P238s are cute but a tad bit overpriced in an opulent market of similar items, kind of like a red lable on a Leica camera vs the Panasonic variant.
Spot on Tally! You nailed it…all the way. Have another bowl of the chicken n dumplin’s and buttered milk dressing along with this refreshing beverage. Sorry, all the cheese grits with shrimps and hickory smoked sausages is gone.
If you gonna shoot, make sure it’s a good shoot. And no, you can’t shoot when they’re running away.
Mr. and Mrs. Dumbass shorely did teh stoopid. It was ironic that liberal demonrats were skeered of the very ones that they seem to idolize. And yep, if he becomes a politico, he would enrich himself. Show me different.
Ummm Ummm Pam Dawber! Honey Hush Nanu Nanu I wanted her before you. Screw Mark Harmon and his purty self. Would’ve been nice if my leaky boat had some store bought flotation devices like today’s Ms Thang has. My gunz might’ve been saved from that flooded quicksand lake during the hurrinado.
Baby Bang Bangs. Aren’t they cute. Guess you have to inspect the short arms now and again. But nothing like having a big gun.

The McCloskeys are a neighborhood nightmare with their habit of filing suits against their neighbors over minor disturbances or even imagined ones. As such they make poor republicans but outstanding demokrats. It’s not as if we don’t have enough shysters in government.
