Phillip Dale Monkress; phony SEAL in FL
The discussion on Monkress has moved here.
Editor’s Note: Monkress needed a bump up to the top. His lawyer is sending threatening letters to our friends and I guess she decided after a phone call with me, that her threats would only be a day’s welcomed distraction. Someone is walking the halls of Congress with Monkress’ DD214 today asking questions. I’ve added some more evidence that Monkress called himself a Navy SEAL, which seems to be their defense these days, that he never said he was a SEAL. So Lori Benton of Ford & Harrison, Attorneys at Law, you know our number.
Someone sent us some information on Phillip Dale Monkress who was outed late last year by POW Network as a phony SEAL, but he’s still rockin’ the lie, so it’s time to call out the pitchfork brigade. Here’s picture of him in his motorcycle club, the US Military Veterans’ Motorcycle Club;
ADDED: It seems the lawyers are trying to make the point that Monkress never called himself a SEAL, but here’s a page from the Brevard Business News which reprints a slide presentation in their publication;
Category: Phony soldiers
Since the “moral” guy is issuing veiled and legally incorrect threats, perhaps Mr Morals should consult John 8:32.
HEY, MORAL IIP, YOU DUMB, STUMP-SUCKING CLOWN, SHUT YER YAP AND GO POUND SAND SIDEWAYS.
Was that loud enough?
@ Moral
What are you getting at? Are you implying that Monkress is a random victim? He is innocent of any wrong doing? Hes been crystal clear honest in his representation of his background while lobbying for government contracts? This is all a big misunderstanding? We as a group/participant have created this? Please clarify
Some of us here in reality are struggling with your AOA (angle of attack)
Hey Aintscared @ 234 – you qoute scripture from the Bible and a few lines below you use the “F” word and you want to be taken seriously….really?? Maybe instead of writing your garbage on this blog you should be spending more time in the Word…that means reading the Bible. I think you are “lost” in the world but the good news is God does forgive….by the way do you forgive? God only forgives those who forgive others…something to think about. If you do not forgive, God will not forgive you for your sins….something to think about. Forgive my brother so God can forgive you…something to think about. And that goes for all you others as well. When you forgive others, God will forgive you too. If you do not find it in your heart to forgive others, your “sins” will not be forgiven…something to think about. Maybe everyone on this blog should spend more time in the Word instead of spewing “junk”. Now you can reply to this in an ugly email but don’t forget our Father is watching you. If you have no “sin” in your life go ahead and keep your attacks going but my guess there are no “sinless” persons on this blog….something to think about. Will you think about it….and move on to more positive things to do with your lives….something to think about. God Bless
Please forgive me
@250.
Your a con man and a turd.
Poser.
That face says it all.
@father
Not claiming perfection. Not one person here is claiming that. I refuse to continue to be deceived and standby while these posers piss on the graves of those who lost their life protecting this very freedom we exercise here. To be a SEAL you must EARN it not STEAL it. Integrity and honor. Allowing these posers to STEAL it and do nothing should be a crime.
So forgive the profanity, forgive us all but to intentionally deceive others for financial gain and disgrace our most valorous soldiers is a sin in my book.
@250, 251
Wait. You signed it. Looks to me like you’re claiming to be Mr Archer. Isn’t there a law against impersonating a public official?
“836.09 Communicating libelous matter to newspapers; penalty.
If any person shall state, deliver, or transmit by any means whatever, to the manager, editor, publisher or reporter of any newspaper or periodical for publication therein any false and libelous statement concerning any person, then and there known by such person to be false or libelous, and thereby secure the publication of the same he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 or s. 775.083.”
Therin lies the rub, you see for the posts to be libelous they must be false. Is this man a former SEAL? Evidence suggests not. I’m with Sparky, discovery is a bitch.
@262
Yah, he’s just running his suck with nothing to do or say. If he had anything, papers would have already been served. It’s either Monkress or some poor sap who believes him.
Either way it’s pretty damn sad.
I rather doubt MoralIPVoice is any attorney from Florida – state or private. Most attorneys practicing in FL don’t live in MD. Those comments – along with the other two “sock puppets” I’ve previously identified – appear to be coming from a residential location in MD.
@250. Hey Clarence Darrow. Ever heard of the Communications Decency Act? Well, check out its content and have a box of Kleenex with you when you do. Also, you might consider having a look-see at the privileges and defenses to the crime and the tort you purport to know and cite to in your scrawl. And while you’re at it, you might want to take a peek at some Florida case law, especially with respect to the constitutionality of one of your assertions. I’ll let you figure out which one. Lastly, with regard to the misdemeanor you’re throwing out there, you might want to determine whether Florida extradites for misdemeanors. If you do, keep the Kleenex handy.
@250…Crude and slow clansman, your attack was no better then that of a clumsy child.
Ohhhh! A war of words on the Internet! Sock puppet defense of a Stolen Valor puke, made the worse for profiting from such valor…
I’ll get the popcorn and Scotch. This is gonna be fun, especially if the DOD Procurement anti-fraud guys show up. Maybe even the FBI, hey, we’re talking millions of dollars of government money here (during the sequester, yet).
If Monkress & Co. have donated a big enough kickback (*OOPS!* campaign donation) to the right part of B. Hussein Øbama & Co., the investigation COULD fall victim to the sequester, just a spur of the moment thought, that’s Chicago politics, just what B-HO & Co. practice! I hope he gets his ass busted & thrown in the wringer myself!!
Well, it took a while, but the libel/slander lawer defense finally surfaced. Must mean that some variety of IG has started asking questions.
OWB–one can certainly hope.
Let’s hope the IG office reads this blog!

To quote the movie Blade “Some motherfuckers are always trying to ice-skate uphill” @250
Here are the facts: Monkress lied not once but several times.
If Monkress didn’t want this attention he shouldn’t have lied.
He did this, he invoked this, he compounded this by trying to cover up his lie with an even bigger lie. And if you or anyone else thinks that scrubbing the internet will miraculously make this go away or impossible to substantiate then well you both are retarded. As my name states & as the good NH Sparky said “I will be your Huckleberry” and I AIN’T SCARED so put up or shut up!
@250 oh yeah and your an ass clown
I’m just waiting to see what MoronIPFreely says next.

Please direct any further communications to me. It has recently come to Phil Monkress’s attention that Brevard Business News (“BBN”) published an article on September 12, 2011, (Vol. 29 N. 37 at page 11) concerning Phil Monkress as the keynote speaker for the then upcoming Florida Small Business Development Center 1lth Annual Veterans Business conference. In this article, Mr. Monkress is inaccurately referred to as “a member of the U.S. Special Forces” and “a former U.S. Navy Seal.” Mr. Monkress honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy but he was not, and has not represented himself to be, a member of the U.S Special Forces or a U.S. Navy Seal. Thus, the article published by BBN contains false statements about Mr. Monkress. Further, this article remains published in your archives on your website at http://www.brevardbusinessnews.com/ArchiveDocs/2011/2011–09–01/BBN–091211.pdf. Immediately after learning about this article, on December 12, 2012, Phil Monkress contacted Sandy Pfrimmer, Operations Coordinator, Small Business Development Center at BCC, requesting assistance in the removal of this article from BBN’s website. It is our understanding that Ms. Pfrimmer contacted you and requested the article be removed from the BBN website. It is further our understanding that you informed Ms. Pfrimmer that the article could not be removed. Please consider this letter Mr. Phil Monkress’s formal request to BBN to remove the above–described article from BBN’s website. Alternatively, and if possible, please redact all the inaccurate statements about Mr. Monkress, i.e., that he was “a member of the U.S. Special Forces” and “a former U.S. Navy Seal.” Mr. Monkress never authorized the publication of this article, was not aware of its existence or its… Read more »

Dear Mr. Roth:
I noticed that on page 5 of the Brevard Business News published on May 6, 2013, there is a copy of the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations concerning All Points Logistics, LLC. At the bottom of the page, it states “To be Continued …”. If you are planning to publish an article in the Brevard Business News about All Points Logistics, LLC. or myself, please provide me with the opportunity before you publish the article to discuss all the facts with you so that you have the full and complete story.
Please let me know the date, time, and location where you want to meet.
Thank you in advance for your professional courtesy.

1) “Brevard Business News (“BBN”) published an article on September 12, 2011”
2) “Immediately after learning about this article, on December 12, 2012, Phil Monkress contacted Sandy Pfrimmer”
3) “Mr. Monkress never authorized the publication of this article, was not aware of its existence or its false statements about him until this month…” [May 2013, the letter’s date]
So, there’s a published article featuring this fellow but he doesn’t read it for two months after its publication? Then, through his legal intermediary, there’s a statement that he he was unaware of the article or its content until May 2013?
WTH am I missing here? I gotta be missing something.
Sounds like this sissy is finally realizing that he has his tit in the wringer.
Yeah, I missed that he wasn’t aware of the article until over a year had passed since its publication. The May 2013 part I still don’t get. What is this guy, Donald Trump? I mean are there so many business journal articles regarding him that he can’t track them all? This is nutty.
Hey, anybody else wondering who the source of the SEAL information was? I sure hope there was a tape or the reporter keeps his or her notebooks.
Math is not his strong suit? Among other things.
Isn’t he wearing a SEAL trident in the photo?
@281 Mr. Roth
Before you published the advertisement did you send the proof to APL or Monkress for approval?
Doesn’t it state in his company capabilities briefing that he is a Navy Seal?
So, a couple of possibilities come to mind:
1. During the interview, the reporter asks him about the trident he is wearing, He responds that is what ya get for being a SEAL, but he doesn’t quite claim to have been one, just wears the trident because it purty. Don’t really buy this explanation because even a really green reporter would eventually follow up somewhere during the interview with, “Do, when were you a SEAL?” if only out of polite curiosity if not a good reporter’s natural skepticism.
2. The reporter just made it up because it sounded good. Naw, that didn’t happen.
3. This fool was never interviewed, but coworkers/partners/whatever were. It was they who said that he was a SEAL. Where would they have gotten that idea other than from him?
And hasn’t he also claimed Indian Nation status? Does he plan to submit the pic above as proof of that, claiming that a very small swig of the firewater gave him that drunk as a skunk look??
Will someone please pass the popcorn?
@282 you aren’t missing anything here. Monkress said he was a seal got busted… Now he has back pedaled saying he NEVER claimed to be a seal. Sociopaths cling fiercely to their lies, even when confronted.
OWB – I believe I remember seeing Monkress prominently featured as being a former Navy SEAL in a document from Jan 2011 that appeared to have been prepared by APL – a briefing of some sort. And I don’t recall it having any “company proprietary”, “close hold”, or similar caveats or markings, either.
If I’m remembering correctly, it was originally at the link given in comment 120 above. And it did seem to be a marketing briefing, as I recall.
It’s not available at that link now; it seems to have been removed from docstoc. However, it’s awfully hard to get ALL copies of documents out of circulation once they’ve been openly posted to the Internet. I’d guess a copy is still out there somewhere – or maybe several copies. It’s just a question of finding one.
And from what I understand, it’s really hard to claim after the fact that things like marketing briefings (which are specifically intended for external or public consumption) are trade secrets or proprietary/close hold information that is not for public consumption once they’ve been made public.
But I guess I could be wrong about those last two points. I’m pretty sure I remember correctly what I read, though.
Sure, Hondo. We all saw at least some of that stuff, and some saw all of it. But he waved his magic wand and it all disappeared. Uh-huh.
Good luck with that, firewater crazed phony vet guy.
I thought we were all done with this nonsense.
But now that Monkress got caught inflating himself and it went into print — THAT, of all things!! — he’s upset because he never, ever, ever once said he was a Navy SEAL… even though it was included in marketing document….
Now he’s got himself law’ered-up and is making threats.
Yeah, sounds like he’s got more than one boob in a mastectomy platform.
I found two things that specify that Monkress claims he is a disabled vet (is he?) and a Native American, in print. Couldn’t get them to load here, so I sent them to Jonn.
The APL capabilities briefing is posted in “metric shitton” blog on TAH..
John, can you post that briefing in/on this blog?
@ 281.
Original data.
Bonus: Stress Relief.
@295 Yes he is a certified service disabled veteran, barely, but yes he is.
@295 how much Native American is 3/128 blood quantum??? Is that a whole teaspoon or an eye dropper full?
Interesting. I’m not positive, but I believe the “cut line” for claiming Native American tribal affiliation is a minimum of 1/32 documented Native American ancestry. I could be wrong.
Last time I checked, 3/128 is less than 1/32.
@300 to be CERTIFIED Native American… He’s not CERTIFIED. His advertising is misleading. He is not an 8a.
The disabled Veteran mention made me think of another fellow who claimed to be a “combat veteran.” If a fellow serves in the military and, after ETS, is disabled in a car accident, he can then call himself a disabled Veteran. Similarly, a fellow whose service days are behind him and who, say, as a police office or fireman, receives multiple awards for valor, is a “heavily decorated Veteran.” Like I said in the other thread, semantics and gamesmanship.
