Bryan H Austin; sicko phony
Ken sent us a link to POW Network’s post about Bryan H Austin, who was apparently flaunting his phony finery in Milwaukee Mitchell airport, wearing an Army ACUs uniform with Lieutenant Colonel rank, a special forces tab, as well as 82d and 101st unit patches. Apparently someone confronted him for ID and when he couldn’t produce any, he was taken into custody. It looks like he was using the stuff to get discounts and free stuff from well-meaning folks.
POW Network says that he also used his phony stories to move in with women and leach off of them until they toss his ass out. I don’t understand that. I have real stories that never got me laid, how do these phonies do that? But I never wore ACUs in the airport – with LTC rank.
But, apparently, after the authorities arrested him for the fraud attached to the uniform, they searched his computer and found 11 pictures to charge him with “Capture an Image of Nudity“, whatever that means.
I’m sure this will trigger a bunch of “I know that guy” comments when the post hits the search engines.

It can be difficult to interpret the true intention behind the words in this forum, with the bellicose and hostile tone exhibited by many of the participants in this arena.

Keep in mind the “underdog” here has done so much harm to so many people – emotionally, mentally, physically and financially – through his intentional and thoroughly plotted manipulations. He has zeroed in on people’s natural goodness and trust and used that to his advantage to get sympathy, money, emotional support and as a “military officer,” free meals, free gas and so much more. He has destroyed relationships, marriages, friendships and many people’s self-worth for having been caught in his web of lies. Who lies about having a terminal disease and lets people pray for him? Who lies about going to work wearing a fake uniform? Who lies about the circumstances of his daughter? About people failing to be there when he was supposedly in the hospital dying? Who lies about his mother’s death? Who lies about having been significantly injured during active duty that didn’t exist? Yep, you got it, the man of the hour who is innocent. I saw it, I heard it and I lived it, and he is guilty of what he’s facing in the courts but that’s JUST the tip of the iceberg.

I’ve thought plenty about this. Yes, there is forgiveness or life cannot be fully lived again. BUT there is also accountability and consequences for actions that were repeatedly, methodically, habitually, purposefully executed with full awareness to the detriment of numerous people.

I understand and believe what you say about accountability and consequences for our actions. Regardless of holding someone accountable for their actions, there are always consequences, though they may not be immediate.
I am not sure that a discussion in an obscure online forum is going to really hold anyone accountable.
At best it seems to be a form of cheap therapy for those involved, me included. How do we even know if Austin is watching this?
As others have stated in the comments this is a place of opinion from people that are somehow interested or connected to Austin and/or his case. It is really nothing more than a group of people running their mouths off. Many involved have an illusion that this discussion is somehow holding Austin accountable. The comments are showing a few concerned people among a sea of idiots.
I really don’t see how this discussion has a large effect on Austin’s life, nor do I have any suggestions on how to truly hold him accountable to the stated accusations.
