Bryan H Austin; sicko phony

Ken sent us a link to POW Network’s post about Bryan H Austin, who was apparently flaunting his phony finery in Milwaukee Mitchell airport, wearing an Army ACUs uniform with Lieutenant Colonel rank, a special forces tab, as well as 82d and 101st unit patches. Apparently someone confronted him for ID and when he couldn’t produce any, he was taken into custody. It looks like he was using the stuff to get discounts and free stuff from well-meaning folks.
POW Network says that he also used his phony stories to move in with women and leach off of them until they toss his ass out. I don’t understand that. I have real stories that never got me laid, how do these phonies do that? But I never wore ACUs in the airport – with LTC rank.
But, apparently, after the authorities arrested him for the fraud attached to the uniform, they searched his computer and found 11 pictures to charge him with “Capture an Image of Nudity“, whatever that means.
I’m sure this will trigger a bunch of “I know that guy” comments when the post hits the search engines.

Will someone please explain to me how the mother of his child stands behind someone who has photographed another woman and her children, stalked them not just the adults but the children too, through emails and websites, follows them around in his car. She has to Know that he continues to purchase throw away phones in order to avoid the truth.. is she so under his sick spell that she does not know she is putting herself and her own child in danger with this psycho? Because I know Bryan and because of what he has done to others, I have my house under camera surveillance and all my calls are recorded because if he does anything again, I am going to give him the real explanation of filming someone without their knowledge.
I cannot believe that she married him just at the right time, he is going to use HER as his sole supporter hoping he told her the right lies so she will stand behind him when the hammer comes down on his actions.
I think someone should let Child Protection know about all this, maybe that child needs to be protected too
The more people who can express their concerns and experiences about what a manipulative sociopath this guy is to the assistant district attorney’s office in Brown County, the better. Call John Luetscher, ADA, at 920- 448-4190.
And I wouldn’t be surprised if the mother of his child is under his sick spell. That is his “skill.” WE need documentation and proof and validation to show otherwise.

Yes, I love that he has squandered inheritance money – or put it overseas – and can cry “indigency” now and benefit from the public defender. Manipulation at its best.
Manhole Inspector.
[…] the bust of Bryan H. Austin October 16th, 2012 If you remember Bryan H. Austin, a guy we featured back in July, and he’s still generating “I know this guy” stories months later in the comments […]
And will for a while. His path of destruction is long, extensive, deep and wicked.
Hey ROS, I think that you are a peeping tom, that probably has a goatee too.
Why don’t you get some balls and post a creepy picture of yourself here so that we can see what your coward ass looks like.
Yeah, go ahead and follow the flying ass clown right off a cliff. Guaranteed he’ll be the only one with a chute.
Yeah, if ROS has a goatee, I’d be worried about her, too. Dingus.
Sounds like the circle of lies is crashing in on this guy, you can only run so long.
How about those Green Bay Packers? I think they are finally on the road to the Super Bowl with the convincing 30-20 win over the Rams today. Aaron Rogers is back!!!
Da Bears are going to destroy the lowlife Lions Monday night, and will beat the Packers Dec.16 to rule the NFC North this year. Rogers is overrated and the media is finally catching on to the fact.
Turd-o-phile.
Loser.
I don’t understand why Green Thumb is so mad. Is he a Cowboys fan?
Wow, didn’t expect a road win from the Steelers tonight. Some tight football.
If we knew the people behind the comments on this site, it would be easy to know that ROS is a female.
Obviously I am an outsider looking into your little cult here.
It is difficult to believe anything in these comments because everyone hides behind their secret identities. Rather cute. Make accusations. Hide behind a stupid name. Ruin reputations. Sleep well at night. A thing of beauty.
Wow, this seems to parallel a core theme of this blog / website, calling out those who have false identities. Ironic.
Jonn is the only one using his real name instead of hiding behind some stupid identity. Kudos to you for being out in the open.
So, BS, what’s your connection to Austin that made you show up all angry and stuff?
It is difficult to believe anything in these comments because everyone hides behind their secret identities.
Kinda like you? For the record, most of us know people through people we’ve met here. In that regard, for example, although I’ve never met TSO or a lot of the other posters personally, I have met Jonn, who has spent a good amount of time with many of the posters here. Even those who do not know anyone here personally are part of a brotherhood–one where honor, courage, and commitment are far more than the punchline others use it for and phonies abuse.
Perhaps if you were to recognize that fact, you’d understand. Also, divulging a great deal of personal information is a good way of having one’s identity stolen, or worse. Due caution and all that, dontcha know. Besides, if you really wanted to contact a particular poster and were on the up-and-up, I’m sure Jonn would/could contact the party in question and see if contact via e-mail is desired by the party with whom you wish to communicate.
And screen names on a message board is somehow equivalent to people committing fraud or worse in the name of a member of the military? Yeah, not even close, scooter. Not even the same ballpark. Not even the same fucking sport.
Go Bears!!!
NHS Sparky you are correct, I am not divulging my identity here at this time. It is not worth it at this time in such an incredibly hostile environment. It is nice that you all know each other and have met in person offline an have similar views, and maybe come from similar backgrounds. Wonderful. Viewed from the outside it really comes off that everyone is a part of a good old boy network. If I were a member of your brotherhood, I would be beyond disappointed. You talk about honor, courage, and commitment. Let’s break this down for a couple of minutes here. When I hear the word honor I think of someone that displays integrity, honesty, and fairness in their actions. Where is the proof that backs up the accusations? The link to the POW Network’s post is bogus. Where is there a copy of an arrest record? Where is a photo of Austin in his ACUs bearing the LTC rank? Where is a statement of formal charges against Austin? Show me a conviction from a court of law? Show me something. With this being a military issues blog I am guessing that many of the participants are either former or current military. I would hope that you would all have a solid understanding of what you were sworn to protect, the Constitution of The United States of America. The United States Military oath of enlistment reads: I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. While the presumption of innocence is not directly in the United States Constitution it arises from the 5th, 6th, and 14th amendments. This man is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. Period. What an utter… Read more »
You should study the Constitution a bit more carefully, “BravoSierra”. That presumption of innocence you cite applies only in courts of law. People are free to use their own intellect and come to their own conclusions separately from court verdicts. And they often do.
For example: Al Capone went to Federal prison for being convicted in court for cheating on his income taxes. But only a fool believes Capone wasn’t also a murderer and a gangster. For a more recent example, see Simpson, OJ.
In addition, there’s also this little thing called the First Amendment. As I recall it guarantees several freedoms that collectively are often termed “freedom of expression”. That’s what most are doing here – freely expressing their opinion.
Don’t like the opinions expressed here? Fine. Then express yours by not bothering to come here. Or come here and take issue by expressing an opposing opinion. That’s your call.
Just don’t be surprised when half-baked arguments and appeals to emotion don’t work very well. This crowd doesn’t exactly care much for either.
In Austin’s case the facts made public to date appear fairly clear and convincing. It looks like he’s a guilty low-life, trading on the reputation of much better men than himself for personal profit.
Hopefully he reaps the just rewards for doing so. Even if, like Capone, he goes to jail for something else entirely.
Sorry dipshit, but police don’t arrest people based solely on wild accusations.
Well, Sparky, if they did it would certainly hand the defendant an easy “wild accusation defense.”
Interesting isn’t it that someone, anyone, would come here to defend the indefensible using as it’s big point that this is not the proper venue for our comments? Well, if that were true would it not equally apply to that poster?
Let me spell that out in case the dull witted didn’t catch my drift: Let’s assume, for purposes of this discussion, that it is inappropriate for those of us here to opine about someone who has been caught violating the law by impersonating an officer. Someone else comes in to post about the same clown caught impersonating an officer. Would it matter which side the new poster was on? It would be wrong to do so.
In other words, by your own assumptions, Idiot #121, you are simply wrong. We, on the other hand, encourage disperate opinions, but you are limiting your expression by your own definitions.
Any more opinions you want to express about all this? Perhaps you should look for a more appropriate (by YOUR definition) venue for expressing your opinions. May I suggest the court which is hearing the felony charges? The court would probably really enjoy hearing your opinions.
(Would someone please document and share that exchange?)
“This man is innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. Period.”
Except that we are a court of public opinion not a court of law.
Hey at least we can all agree on one thing here. We are all voting for Barack Obama, right?

“Wow, it is sure easy to be a courageous person by making a total wild accusations pedophile activity behind a screen name on an online forum.”
Your entire post loses all semblance of credibility here. When you stand railing against posters in this thread for doing the very same thing you’re doing, posting using a screen name, your hypocrisy invalidates everything else you’ve said.
As a victim of Austin’s on several levels, I choose not to post my real name for a reason. But I can assure you that when it comes to the various misdemeanors and felonies he is accused of committing with regard to impersonation of a military officer, accepting gifts and accolades as if he were a military officer, and the 11 counts of capturing images of nudity without permission, I will swear under oath what I saw and heard with my own eyes and ears. I also heard straight from the FBI agent assigned to the case what Austin’s accused of with regard to his military impersonation and from the ADA on the state’s pursued charges.
And for the record, I am not part of any old boy’s club; I’m just a law-abiding everyday citizen who is looking for the system to take its purposeful and thorough steps to prove Austin did what he is accused of in the eyes of the court and the law, and to hold him accountable.
@121.
Did a young E-5(?) not see and confront him in uniform? In public? With an police officer (it would appear unhelpful)seeing it as well?
Really?
Maybe you should go back to Fraggle Rock…
Just saying.
@121 – I’m hoping that your choice of “assumed name” was an attempt to be ironic, because “BS” is about the best way to describe that misguided and generally incoherent, rambling missive you just put together (or, as I would call it, a steaming pile of bullshit). Anyway, in the eyes of the law, Bryan may be PRESUMED innocent – you’re absolutely right. And for him to be convicted, the People must prove their case against him beyone a reasonable doubt. But, what you seem to forget here is that, at least as it pertains to some of us who’ve posted here, Bryan has committed certain of these crimes (e.g., posing as a military officer, telling false stories about his service and wartime exploits) in our presence and, in some cases, directly to/against us. And, let’s make sure we get the phraseology right here, my friend. There’s a HUGE difference between being found “not guilty” because you’re innocent and being found “not guilty” because a case wasn’t proven beyond a reasonable doubt for a whole host of reasons (many of which you’ve pointed out…lack of photos, issues with witnesses, etc.). One need look no further than O.J. to see it’s pretty obvious that whether or not one is ultimately convicted of a crime isn’t dispositive of their actual guilt or innocence. Essentially, whether or not Bryan is or is not eventually found guilty of a crime has nothing to do with whether or not he actually committed one (or in his case, many). And surely you’re not saying that those of us who have personally experienced his crimes and are able to attest to them are somehow not able to speak to what we personally saw/heard him do, are you? Because that might be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard (and definitely some bullshit). Oh, and I think I’ve identified myself more than appropriately for you. I commanded the HHC unit in which his ex-wife was a Soldier at Fort Sheridan, IL in the 3rd Battle Command Training Group, 75th Battle Command Training Division (since you’re probably Bryan… Read more »
“Hopefully he reaps the just rewards for doing so. Even if, like Capone, he goes to jail for something else entirely.”
From the movie Shaft, starring Samuel L Jackson, “…got is got…”
We can only hope that he does follow in Al Capone’s footsteps: In the final years of Capone’s life, he suffered mental and physical deterioration due to late-stage neurosyphilis.
@ Hondo … BravoSierra is Navy or at least close to it. He gave it away in his text. Here are the Navy’s Core Values: The United States Navy Core Values Throughout its history, the Navy has successfully met all its challenges. America’s naval service began during the American Revolution, when on Oct. 13, 1775, the Continental Congress authorized a few small ships. Creating the Continental Navy. Esek Hopkins was appointed commander in chief and 22 officers were commissioned, including John Paul Jones. From those early days of naval service, certain bedrock principles or core values have carried on to today. They consist of three basic principles. Honor: “I will bear true faith and allegiance …” Accordingly, we will: Conduct ourselves in the highest ethical manner in all relationships with peers, superiors and subordinates; Be honest and truthful in our dealings with each other, and with those outside the Navy; Be willing to make honest recommendations and accept those of junior personnel; Encourage new ideas and deliver the bad news, even when it is unpopular; Abide by an uncompromising code of integrity, taking responsibility for our actions and keeping our word; Fulfill or exceed our legal and ethical responsibilities in our public and personal lives twenty-four hours a day. Illegal or improper behavior or even the appearance of such behavior will not be tolerated. We are accountable for our professional and personal behavior. We will be mindful of the privilege to serve our fellow Americans. Courage: “I will support and defend …” Accordingly, we will have: courage to meet the demands of our profession and the mission when it is hazardous, demanding, or otherwise difficult; Make decisions in the best interest of the navy and the nation, without regard to personal consequences; Meet these challenges while adhering to a higher standard of personal conduct and decency; Be loyal to our nation, ensuring the resources entrusted to us are used in an honest, careful, and efficient way. Courage is the value that gives us the moral and mental strength to do what is right, even in the face of personal or… Read more »
Other than that observation of BravoSierra (Bull Shit) I found his observations twistedlyeristally boring and disjointed.
WAY TO GO BEARS!!! Suh completely rocked Cutler in the second quarter but da Bears still got the job done. Hope the Panthers are ready to get pummeled next week!!!
I heard that you’re settled down
That you found a girl and you’re married now.
I heard that your dreams came true.
Guess she gave you things I didn’t give to you.
Old friend, why are you so shy?
Ain’t like you to hold back or hide from the light.
I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn’t stay away, I couldn’t fight it.
I had hoped you’d see my face and that you’d be reminded
That for me it isn’t over.
Never mind, I’ll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don’t forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts inste-ad, ”
You know how the time flies
Only yesterday was the time of our lives
We were born and raised
In a summer haze
Bound by the surprise of our glory days
I hate to turn up out of the blue uninvited
But I couldn’t stay away, I couldn’t fight it.
I’d hoped you’d see my face and that you’d be reminded
That for me it isn’t over.
Never mind, I’ll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don’t forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts inste-ad.”
Nothing compares
No worries or cares
Regrets and mistakes
They are memories made.
Who would have known how bittersweet this would taste?
Never mind, I’ll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you
Don’t forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead.”
Never mind, I’ll find someone like you
I wish nothing but the best for you too
Don’t forget me, I beg
I remember you said,
“Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead,
Sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts inste-e-ad.”
@135, I’m still mad at the Bears for week 1.
MCPO: I don’t personally care if he/she is a confused “sweet transvestite from transexual Transylvania” who grew up in a broken home. That doesn’t matter.
If he/she shows up taking issue with folks here using an argument based solely on emotion or that’s half-baked, they’re going to get challenged. Deservedly so.
Mentally challenged?
@ 138 … I was just making an astute observation. You don’t have to yell at me! MOMMY!
Control your rage:

I hate Fu*kin’ Oprah!
@142
Don’t fu*k her then.
@142. And here I thought you were gay. You can’t dislike Oprah and be gay.
So, there I was, hating, hating, hating. Day in and day out, hate, hate, and more hate. Then, one day–today, in fact–I saw a message. The message read, “StopTheHate.” Well, it was if the sea of hatred had suddenly receded, as if the boiling rage within me went cold, as if the mountain of vengeful thoughts had been flattened. And all it took were those three little words, StopTheHate. I’m a new man, I tell you! Thanks!
What is it about today? Bash MCPO Tuesday! MOMMY!
@146
