CPT/MAJ/2LT Jason Miller
Someone sent us this ID card that some scum bag is mailing to the ladies to prove he’s in the military. He looks totally legit to me. The fact that he’s an O-4 Captain wearing 2LT bars in the photo and that teh ID card says Iraqi Special Force doesn’t detract from the legitimacy a whit;

And that beret doesn’t look like it was photo-shopped on his noggin at all. And Here’s his leave form to prove that he’s coming home to his honey. It looks just like a DA31, doesn’t it;

And the email from the Army that they sent with the leave form;

Yeah, we always have to pay for the travel of our replacement, especially when we go on leave. The Army is a real stickler like that.
So ladies, if a guy sends you a scan of his ID card, he’s not really in the military. We just don’t do that. It doesn’t cost us money to pay for our replacement’s travel, usually we don’t even have replacements. ID cards don’t say “Special Forces” on them and, in case you live under a rock, the war in Iraq is over.
Category: Phony soldiers
This one is actually so incredibly badly done it’s a riot.
It’s also sad, because he’s likely got a reasonable chance of conning some naive lass into sending him some $$$.
LOL Its so bad that its good. Even a civilian could catch this mess. Question is: Is he looking for that female to pay for his travels? I mean besides a piece of tail, what else is he trying to get out of this? It says “marriage leave” which means he must have really conned this girl in deep.
What the actual fuck? I mean, REALLY? Jesus. My ribs haven’t ached like this in years.
It’s legit … 100% COMPLETELY LEGIT, because it’s signed by Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito jr.
Haters, gonna hate.
ROFLMAO
I met one American soldier by FB and his name is Michael Stanford. He is in Kabul and he ask for help to leave the camp. Of course i must pay some money -1550 Euro that his General Bryan Andrew can help him leave the camp. Do you know something about someone of them? How do you think this is scam? I must send this money to Istanbul, TR. “My” soldier Rank is SCA US 0943. Can you help me get is this true or false? Violetta Poland
No, it’s false. If anyone asks you for money and you’ve never met face-to-face, it’s a scam. Run away.
Thank you very much for your answer.
uhh forgot to denote my sarcasm with the [/sarcasm] tag.
Idk what’s better, the American flag background or the “Agent rank 2LT 2nd Battalion, True Heroes” part. Must be an off-shoot of those “Real American Heroes” in GI Joe.
Gee whiz, my leave and special liberty chits didn’t look anything like that.
Now, the real question is this: is HE going to pay for all of that stuff, or will his intended have to pay for it?
Sometimes, I wish we could just go back to them there good old days…just for a brief spell…
Hey, we could! We could reinstate the draft. How quickly would these clowndogs disappear if that happened? Oh! They’d have to go some place where they’d get their junk shut off, wouldn’t they?
This is as bad as the lottery winning emails I get from Nigeria.
#8 its the equivalent to a Nigeria scam. Might as well call it the True Heroes of America scam. Poor girl who is on the receiving end of these emails must be reeling from this guys desperate attempt. Its like he used a template for scammers.
Attempting to force her into marriage is comedy though
And his leave form is signed by a Supreme Court Justice. Wow!
Seems legit!
He spent so much time generating comically fake paperwork when the real deal was just a google search away. Oh wait, it was probably too confusing to fill out. I do better research on my Halloween costumes than this.
Maybe they don’t have Google in Kenya, Reaperman?
Wowzers!! Leave form via PowerPoint and an ID card from VistaPrint. What could go wrong?
O-4/Captain? Really? Sorta like Radar O’Reilly’s “Corporal-Captain” rank on TV’s MASH. Any woman who falls for this is too stupid to use a vibrator.
Didn’t we see this guy before? Or was it someone like him?
Wait, the guy with the beard who said he was stationed in Vicenza — was that the other one? Did that one die away?
Someone needs to point out that photocopying a US Government Identification Card is a violation of Title 18 of the US Code, Part I, Chapter 33, Section 701 and is punishable by fine or imprisonment
^ That was me ^
Guaranteed, anyone stupid enough to actually wire this guy money would soon receive another message stating that more fees would be required immediately thereafter. Followed by more, and more, and more… Until the victim finally gets a clue, or runs out of money, and stupid friends/family with money.
This has Nigerian scam written all over it. The only thing missing is the International Seal of No Risky on the leave form. I am disappointed in this lad. Nobody falls for official paperwork without the International Seal of No Risky.
The sad part about this guy is that most civilians are so clueless about the military that they just might buy it.
I especially love where Fort Irwin must be reimbursed by moneygram.. LOL– Yeppers because that is how the military demands to be reimbursed all the time…
USACIDC issued a bulletin on this scam a few months ago. I know I posted it to my FB page and it may be buried in my post archives there. Holler if you want a copy, I’ve still got it around here somewhere, lol. It does originate out of Nigeria by the way…..
I deal with this a lot more than people realize in my current job on an Army division staff… Had a woman weeping on the phone to me about a month ago as she recounted how she sent $500 she really didn’t have to a huckster to pay for this very thing- to allow a “soldier” to be released from Afghanistan to come visit her. Now she’s out her rent money, the guy she wired it to has broken off contact & didn’t make his alleged flight, and she wants to know what the Army is going to do about reimbursing her. (Completely serious here, folks) She kept saying over and over “How can ‘the military’ do this? How can YOU allow this to happen?” Yeah- because we’re all certain that these frauds are in the military, eh? How about this- How can YOU be so naive and trusting to shell out 500 clams to some internet yahoo you’ve never even met? Of course- that’s the point. These guys prey on their target demographic using Facebook and other social media platforms. They’re like a giant tuna trawler- put out the feelers and when you get a hit, bang. They carefully cultivate these relationships over time and gradually start asking for stuff until they succeed. The woman even said- “But he would always respond to me on IM- we would IM together for hours!” Yeah- of course. It’s the financial equivalent of the 1-night stand pillow talk to get you out of your undies, sweetie. Attentive, responsive, sensitive– until he gets what he wants. Anyway- it’s amazing to me how many people fall victim to this. And then go to active military units wanting to know what *we* are going to do about it. I’ve joked with my Chief of Staff about getting a switchboard installed in my office- that way- I can press buttons when I get these stay voltage calls that have nothing to do with my job (no one can explain to me why these folks call ME and no one else)- I can transfer them to the… Read more »
Wow, if I wasn’t sure some poor citizen would fall for something like this, I’d be laughing my ass off.
Maybe it’s a new retard-O-rank… LTCPTMAJ?
It’s on the internet, it must be legit!
Re #21 yes, CID has a gallery of equally-hilarious “romance scam” fake documents
http://www.cid.army.mil/romance_scam_examples.html
I thought it was CPT.
I’m old……and green.
Just an observation.
PS. Love the gay position of the beret, not to mention the smile.
Clown looks like a gay chef.
By the way, love the handle Fat Circles. Awesomesauce.
Turd.
Out.
@22 I wonder if they’re going to fall for it twice. “Maam, I’m going to need hear your social security number for legal purposes… oh and your credit card number too!”
@ #25- Thanks, Jilly and Merry Christmas. WigWam, you left out bank account number for transfer purposes, too. lol!
This is the link with corresponding public notice. Again, thanks Jilly. My brain has been elsewhere for the past while, too much stuff on the burners, maybe?

what’s “-2LT 1st batallion true heroes.”?
3rd Mountain Division. Crawl to Glory.
Thanks for the link, streetsweeper. I particularly appreciated this one:
‘Be very suspicious of someone you have never met and who pledges their love at warp speed.’
If it doesn’t come from someone with four legs who barks or meows, warp speed love does not happen.
Now in the 3rd Mountain Division, can field grades telephonically sign out or do they have to show up in person? 60 days of leave for marriage. Must be use or lose?
He also has a gold GAFET badge I see. I have a gold GAFET badge, too. That means this guy is teh awesomez
Iraqi Special Force
ISF. Right.
Love the GPB. And the ARCOM. Nice for an O-3/O-4.
Bet he makes a mean pancake. I mean “mancake”.
I also see leadership tabs and a RT peaking out off the left shoulder. At least he got that right.
Infantrymen are puking all over the world right now.
This case looks nearly identical in feel to that bearded Officer/1SG you had up a few weeks ago. That one said “Italian Special Forces” I suspect they are from the same shop.
This same picture is being used on facebook for a profile with the name of US Marine who was killed in afghanistan in 2009. Feel free to email me for more info
I didn’t know Lucidia Sans was the military’s preferred secondary typeset for their IDs. I learn something new everyday!
Huh… Never realized Washington, DC was in Washington State… Who knew. In his defense, the grammar on this “leave form” is so atrocious that it could be mistaken for an actual Army document. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my time in the Army, it’s that nothing that gets written or printed anywhere EVER gets spell checked (like the sign on Sand Hill for the “Bayonet Coarse” or the sign on Caserma Ederle for the “Department of Preventivive Medicine”)
Someone has used photos of the above same soldier- and sent me a number of photos of this soldier via a dating site.. emailed me with declarations of love etc, but called himself Collins Miller…
Someone else had used the same soldier’s phtos/Ids but called himself Collins Miller, via dating website, sent me a number of photos of this soldier, including group photos.. so i wonder where this person has gained access to all this.
I knew I recognized that beret flash… That’s the 1/40th CAV!
I recived quite a few photos with same guy/soldier in vaious duty uniforms at specific location, looks like some sort of military base.. if anyone’s interested they can let me know and i can share with u to see if they are legit.. as there r quite a few group shots too.. Thx
I swear, you can’t make up some of the shit these dildoheaded posers put out!!
Another one fell for this goofball’s story.
Apparently, the scammers make these so bad in order to weed out all but the most gullible. So they don’t waste time on people who won’t fall for it in the end. There’s even been a paper published on it.

[…] 15) Jason “Giant Grape” Miller […]
I was recently contacted by “General David M. Rodriguez” through my skype account, my first thought was to ignore him, then I thought sod it, I’m bored and in the mood for a wind up.
Whoever this guy was, his English was diabolical, and if had called me ‘my dear’ one more time I may well have yacked on my keyboard.
Whilst he was trying to wheedle some personal information out of me (age, marital status, hobbies) I googled the General, I mean what a knobhead, if you are going to pose as someone, don’t pick someone who appears on Wikipedia, cause that gave me far too much ammo.
Anyway to cut a long one short, I think he caught onto me, especially when I asked if he could send me a picture of his privates on parade.
It’s really sad that there are some lonely women out there who fall for these scams, they are relatively easy to spot.
Jason Miller is very stupid. Zero intelligence.
You have to be awfully naive to believe him in anything.
He bring shame to American officers.
There are his profiles (every different – have different informations):
https://www.facebook.com/capt.jasonmiller
https://www.facebook.com/jason.milleraldean/photos
https://www.facebook.com/miller.andrew.1612/photos
He eliminate other profiles.
Here’s what he tells crap:
“…Hey, honey. I miss you and I’m just here thinking about you, like I always do. I hope you are happy as me cause I have you to think of. The thought of you in my arms right now sounds so good to me. I just want you to know how much I love and adore you. I miss you every second of my life. I know I have found someone special. I will always remember how sweet you are. I would smile and I was happy from that point on. Thinking of you
From Capt. Miller. …” 🙂
