Christus resurrexit! Happy Easter everyone! Today is the first of 50 days of Easter. The first 8 days is considered a continuous celebration (Easter Octave). One of the meanings of this season is the move to abandon our animalistic tendencies (yoke of the beast/death) in favor of aligning ourselves with God’s divine purpose for us (eternal life).
