Missouri casino robbed at gunpoint Wednesday, suspects at large

Story by Dillon Seckington
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Boonville, Missouri casino was robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday afternoon the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) says.

MSHP says that just after 2 p.m., two suspects entered the Isle of Capri Casino. One of the suspects was armed with a rifle, the other with a handgun.

From there, the suspects are accused of stealing an unknown amount of money and left the scene in what the highway patrol is calling a tan, older model Ford Taurus.

That vehicle was later found abandoned, and MSHP says it’s believed the suspects left from there in another vehicle.

Robbing a casino seems a bit redundant, but that’s about the only way to beat the house odds. I too owned a Ford Taurus once. Once. They likely abandoned theirs after the transmission fell out.

Bonus video, lawer FAs and FOs with a contempt charge, new bracelets. Wait for it:

The lawer? WTF, over. Sounds like an entitled child, “you’re going to hear what I have to say!”. Didn’t realize the transgender card is becoming less and less effective the more it’s used, and that in the courtroom, the judge is in charge. Speak softly, be kind, and yeah, take up for your client in a respectable manner, but don’t cross the line laid down by the judge. No amount of chest binding, hormone pills, and bearded woman aesthetic will save you from getting your just desserts.

“He” reminds me of the real estate agent I first spoke to when finding a rental house in Northern VA eight years ago. Name of Dale–conveniently ambiguous, both my mother-in-law and stepfather shared that name. I spoke to Dale about a potential house once, being polite and addressing her as “ma’am” multiple times. The conversation was pretty short, and I never got ahold of Dale again, with a male agent calling me a few days later. Oh, and Dale wasn’t just a random person, she’d been assigned to me after I’d met with the big property company in Fredericksburg, and was supposed to see me through signing the lease. I was curious, so I looked Dale up and found an effeminate “man” with a wispy “beard” who’s a member of an LGBT Realtors association. I’m pretty certain Dale’s feewings (fee-fees?) got hurt when I assumed her gender. Sorry, I was speaking over the phone to an obvious woman, certainly not even the most soft-spoken or gayest man. Hell, she even sounded kind of attractive. You can put on a costume, but the voice usually gives it away. See the GameStop “It’s ma’am!” “woman” for an example.

I don’t know who started this kerfluffle, but it sounds like a “he said/she said”. The “lawer” is trying to make a legal point, after driving 1 1/2 hours to get to court, and the judge is shutting “him/her” down.
To me, both the judge AND the lawer are a pair of dicks.

Hijinks at MacDill as a Chinese national gets caught trying to blow up the visitors center.

Good on security for acting quickly and no one being hurt.

Since they are obviously foreign agents / combatants they should be sent to gitmo for a few decades. 8 should suffice.

So as it turns out the bomb was in the Visitor Center for a week before it was discovered.

That is much less good.

That sliding cover is now so rare as to be a collector by itself – most soldiers ‘lost’ them.
Most Arisakas had the ‘Imperial Chrysanthemum ‘ ground off the receiver bridge – finding one intact takes some searching. Good shooting rifle – not as good as a Mauder 1896, but pretty close.

Dad bought me one back in the mid 1950’s when the family was out antiquing and the stamped etching was still on it. I think Dad paid maybe 10 bucks for it l Later i sold it to a friend of mine and he went and bought ammo for it and shot a round through his bedroom window. Lost track of him when his named popped up in the news paper about him being arrested for trying to rape a girl in the bathroom. Back in the 70’s, his older brother worked for Brink’s as an air courier. Turns out his brother Gasper was a stationary Engineer on Broadway in Manhatten.

Mauser 98? The 98 pretty much set the standard for bolt actions. Except for that silly lange visier rear sight that you guys wisely replaced on the ’03 Springfield.
I love my Arisaka Type 99. It’s super easy to handload 7.7 Jap.Just trim ’06 brass to 57-58mm ( or 7.92×57 as is), FL size and top with .310 – .312 lead ( very convenient if you also load .303 and x54R)
