Vinnie at the Daytona Flea Market today

Vinnie1

One of our fans sent us this video he took today of Vinnie. Vinnie was General Swartzkopf’s body guard during Desert Storm. He was also wearing the 3rd award of the Combat Infantryman Badge. Our fan tries to explain to him that there have only been 324 of those awarded. They were only awarded to veterans of World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. Vinnie says, “Oh, now, maybe!” hinting that back in his day, it wasn’t awarded like that. You know, being Swartzkopf’s bodyguard, he probably got a special dispensation. He also has three Purple Hearts. His store is Night Fire Tactical, but there’s no internet listing for him, otherwise, I’d find those three Purple Hearts for him.

CIB3

As I’m fond of explaining; If you had served as an infantryman in Vietnam, Grenada, Panama, Desert Storm and Somalia, you would have only one award of the CIB. If you had served in Afghanistan and Iraq, you’d have only one award.

If you had served in Desert Storm, the second Iraq War and Afghanistan, you’d get a 2d award (one star).

It’s nice to finally see someone with the facts, hit someone with no clue. TOo many times, “Stolen Valor” is tossed out without a solid knowledge base to throw from.

Good job on the call out. Hit this puke hard.

2banana

Is it stolen valor wearing a patch on a civilian leather jacket and not falsely claiming any benefits?

20thEB67

Uh..what? Your question is unclear. Please elaborate.

Hondo

Ever heard of “intangible, non-financial benefits” – like undeserved respect and prestige?

Yes, IMO wearing military badges and scrolls/tabs/patches falsely implying membership in an elite military unit/community or the performance of arduous training/duty counts as Stolen Valor in the eyes of vets.

OWB

Yes. Kinda like you don’t need to claim to be a dickhead to be one.

Bobo

He was obviously trying to make sales based on his military claims. If he sold one stick of gum to someone because they thought that they were helping a veteran owned small business, I’d call that a tangible benefit.

Bruno Stachel

How much would you like to bet that this guy has worn that BS patch-adorned jacket to one of the restaurants that open their doors to veterans on Veterans Day and claimed his free meal?

Stolen Valor all the way.

Animal

What was the reasoning in making Viet Nam to Somalia one period for the CIB?

Hondo

No freaking clue as to the “why” there – it makes no sense to me, either. But the Vietnam CIB Era began on 2 March 1961 and ended on 10 March 1995 – a period of just over XX 34 years.

Perhaps one of our readers knows someone on the ARSTAFF or the Army’s CMH who might know that answer.

Animal

Pure speculation, but it sounds like someone didn’t want someone else to have more CIB awards than they had.

D

*34 🙂

Hondo

Yep. Sometimes simple math gets more difficult later at night due to mental fatigue. (smile)

SSG E

“mental fatigue” = “beer” for the rest of us…

Club Manager

Yo, Vinnie, you’re a dick head. Pass it on. Someone with minimum smarts would have capitalized on that gig with something better than a Flea Market. Just confirms the world is full of dip shits.

Just An Old Dog

“I was Swartzkoff’s body guard,,, we were sitting around, doing nothing”

What a bag o’ douche.

Bobo

I kind of laughed when I heard that, too. From what I’ve heard about Schwarzkopf, if you worked for him, you didn’t dare “sit around and do nothing.” If you did, after you got your ass handed to you, he found something for you to do.

mr. sharkman

He did have a few SF dudes doing the PSDish thing. Poor bastards. And by all accounts, they were bored to tears.

gitarcarver

This also happened in Florida in the same county:

DELTONA — A military father told Volusia County deputies he was in tears after finding a hateful note on his car.

The Deltona man has a sticker on his car that reads “My son is a Marine.” When he came out of Walmart after shopping on Friday he found a note that read: “F*** you and your son I hope he dies,” according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.

Read the whole disgusting mess here: http://www.floridatoday.com/story/news/local/2016/04/09/delta-florida-man-military-father-hateful-note-car-marine-corps/82836966/

B Woodman

Wait. . . what? I didn’t think that the Westboro Baptists cancer had metastasized?

B Woodman

I also hope that the son is more of a man than the father. Really? Crying because of a note left on his car? An anonymous note that the “hater” was to chickenshit and cowardly to put his name on?

B Woodman

to => too.
Too early in the am, not enough infused caffeine.

Martinjmpr

I’d bet at least 2 to 1 odds that the “military father” faked this BS for attention or some other reason.

These kinds of random “hate crimes” (swastikas painted on Jewish homes, N-word painted on black homes or apartment doors, anti-gay slurs painted or otherwise marked on people known to be gay, etc) are almost always fake actions that were actually created by the purported “victim” in order to gain sympathy or attention.

Skippy

Well let’s guess they have about 60 of them left at fort hachuca clothing and sales so I wonder if he got them from there because I’ve never saw them on Lewis, lirwin, Campbell, Jackson, or Bethesda all be it the last one was a hospital.. I won’t even talk about Germany because no one had them there either

Skippy

Crap I forgot about Knox and Sill also

Bet you that the toofless fucknugget doesn’t have a business license… all of his business is “word of mouth”, IYKWIMAITYD!

You’re famous Vinnie of Night Fire Tactical! Shitbag Stolen Valor famous!

Tony180a

I got a new puppy this weekend and she just dropped a big steaming pile of Vinnie!! What a lying sack of dog shit!!

A Proud Infidel®™

Another flea market wonder-wompus sooperdoopertrooper, I wonder if he’ll also claim to be a Top Secret Echo Forcr time traveler as well?

Frankie Cee "In the clear"

I think that I will ask him what Ranger School Class he attended on his way to fame, and his Ranger Scroll. His Master Blaster Jump Wings just don’t seem to look right on him, either. Piece of shit is heading to world wide fame and he probably doesn’t even have an agent yet.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Fucking loser half wit….maybe that shit buys him some respect in a shithole bar somewhere but I hope it earns him a lot more scorn and disgust as he becomes famous online for being a lying sack of shit.

B Woodman

It looks like Vinnie wasn’t AT the flea market, it looks like he FELL THROUGH the flea market. Look what stuck to him!!

Someone please play the music from “Deliverance”.

Bodyguard. Yep, you betcha.

Vinny, Boy, you sure have a perty mouth.

Claw

Anybody else getting the feeling that Vinnie may be his own cousin?

It has been widely rumored that he trolls the kiddie table at family reunions looking for a “date.”

Atkron

By the looks of this knucklehead milquetoast, the General would have had to bodyguard him.

rb325th

So he was Delta too then, because that is who was working as Schwartzkopfs personal security detail during the DS/DS. One of whom I believe was later KIA’d in Somalia.
