Fat Phony Marine in Albuquerque airport

| September 9, 2015

Fat Fuck Phony

This guy was confronted in Albuquerque, New Mexico by an Army officer. Apparently he’s wearing a “V” on his Silver Star, which is something else that phonies can’t help themselves from wearing. He admits that he’s a phony, that he’s on his way to wedding, and that he never told anyone that he’s an active duty Marine.

So, I guess military dress uniforms are considered to be totally acceptable wedding attire these days.

If the Round Marine and Cheeseslayer had a love child…

desert

They should have called the police and let them cite him for stolen valor!1

Skippy

Word ^^^^^^

Nicki

I’d be willing to believe he ate a Marine. And maybe a couple of small-ish dependents.

Veritas Omnia Vincit

Where’d he find a jacket in a 4x?

Old Trooper

I don’t give a fuck, anymore. There’s too many of them and nothing gets done to them, until they break a law that the DA and cops care about. So, we can mock and shame them, but it doesn’t do any good. The fucking sociopaths just change their locale and keep being shitbirds.

USMCE8Ret

I’ve just about fallen to that line of thinking as well, OT.

A Silver Star with “V” device, Reconnaissance wings and 3 hashmarks for a guy pretending to be a Master Gunnery Sergeant – plus wearing a cover indoors?

Give me a f*cking break!

(I applaud the Army officer for confronting the guy though…)

ChipNASA

OT,
I can’t find the links right off of Google but they have been posted here before…
There were many phonies in the 1940s that were phonies and imposters post WWII and have been ever since.
It will never cease when there are con men and weak men who chose not to do the hard stuff when the rest of us have.

3100NavyChop

Apparently post world War II there were more “men” claiming to have gone ashore on D-Day than actually went ashore on D-Day.

Unfortunately the wannabees and weak man-child types will always outnumber those of us that actually had the minerals to serve.

I’ve nearly given up fighting these twat waffles. Its like trying to hold back the ocean with a spoon.

Sparks

Coming to the same notions Old Trooper. They’re getting to be thicker than flies on a fresh turd. We in communities like ours here are the only ones who seem to give a damn. I remember fallen comrades and I get sick to my stomach when I see it. I take them to task if they are in front of stores and especially egregious in appearance. I remember the one time it got ugly with a store manager involved. He was not a veteran and didn’t understand one bit of what I was telling him was standing in front of his store asking for donations for the charity flavor of the day. He called the police and the officer was an Iraq and Afghanistan Marine veteran and although he told the store owner the truth and told the guy to either produce some righteous ID or move along, which he did, there was nothing he could charge him with.

desert

Just think…when obamas anarchy comes about, you can break these bas-ards knee caps for them!!

Mark L.

“obamas anarchy”

Wut

Lee Beswick

Sparks – Take heart. I am not a veteran but I have many family and friends who are. I would wholeheartedly and forcefully support any legislation that criminalized stolen valor.

HMCS (FMF) ret.

Hopefully, someone ID’s the idiot and gives him a proper public shaming on the internet…

Silentium Est Aureum

Fucktards gonna fucktard.

SGT fon

Is it wrong to want to throat punch an old guy like him?

LIRight

I was wondering if a misdemeanor arrest for assault would be worth it.

I answered myself in the affirmative.

A Proud Infidel®™

Another jelly doughnut slayer on the prowl, what does he do for a living? He looks half as deadly as a shopping mall rent-a-fuzz!!

GDContractor

I wonder how many times, on his way to the wedding, he wedged his fat ass into a complimentary first class seat. I hate these fuckers.

OldSarge57

So it’s a costume wedding? Besides the obvious cover-on-indoors and Gen. Patton pose obviously seeking attention, WTF? If you wear a police uniform and you get caught, just saying “I’m not a cop, just on my way to a wedding” makes it ok? Hey – just found the weapon on the ground. It’s all good. Just curious what this bozo was telling people at the “wedding”. Wish we had his name.

wilnel

gay wedding he was the stripper/entertainment

Ex-PH2

He wanted attention, and he got it. Does anyone besides me wonder if he’s having second thoughts?

Nicki

He isn’t. These people have no shame.

Jarhead

Not until he is outed.

B Woodman

I wish the officer had been able to at least strip the jacket off him, make him run around in his teeshirt. He can have the pants, they can make the basis of a perfectly fine “costume” (and besides. who would want to see this rotund one even semi naked? eewwww).

Mark L.

That’s assault. He would have been arrested.

ChipNASA

I wish this was longer. The folks that posted this commented that they reported this guy to the TSA and the Police. I wish we had follow up to that.
On the other hand, this guy has gone been posted to the Internet for all to see and it’s now well known that he is a Fraud in the Albuquerque area so I can only Imagine *someone, somewhere* is going to say, HEY I know that guy…and then the rest of us will know them.
And we will Shame him into the atmosphere.

Blaster

Sorry, didn’t watch the video before commenting, just looked at the pic.

RPEasy

Well, I am from the ABQ area, and as an FMF sailor, I’ll be passing this guy’s picture around to our local Marine unit (4d Recon Btn). I’m sure if any of them know or meet the guy they’ll be sure to thank him for representing.

-RPEasy

Blaster

Also, when did Marines begin wearing a cover indoors.

John Robert Mallernee

I don’t know whether or not Marines observe regulations, customs, and traditions similar to the Army, but when I was in Basic Combat Training at Fort Lewis, Washington in 1968, our drill sergeant taught us that when you are under arms, you keep your headgear on, whether indoors or out, and wearing a stripped pistol belt is considered to be “under arms”, as we were trained to use the stripped pistol belt as a weapon.

Dalton Coldiron

I understand that DoD has a “whitepages” utility that lists mil, civ, and contractor employees. It’s reportedly authoritative.

Its URL seems to be

https://www.whitepages.mil/#/

Might require the new DoD smartcard ID to access the site. But if bunny-boi is telling the truth, he’ll be listed there.

I’m betting he’s not there.

Skippy

And he’s NOT!!!!!!!

MrBill

Yup, 22 people with the last name Coldiron, and not a Dalton among them.

I reckon bunni-boi knows a little about fakes….

This is the final straw for me. Sick and tired of watching these phony ba___rds parade like peacocks and respond without shame or embarrassment.
Somebody step up to the plate and take the time to get the ball rolling to eliminate every POS that shits on all of us, especially our brothers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Some one better educated than me take charge and I will do ANY grunt work needed to see to it this stops. Take the time, find the time, but get it done! We’ve all had enough. My guess the effort would need to be directed to either a Congressional Representative or Senator. It CAN be done and it WILL be done. If we as a collective group have the time to read and post as much as we do, then we damned sure have the time to help the person who will accept this challenge. First stop I believe should be contacting members of military committees. From there who knows? We CAN get this done particularly during an election when all seeking re-election are ready and willing to get the public credit for their efforts. Start thinking about the process, add your ideas, and get ‘er DONE! Not the best choice to head this up, but if no other has the time, I will find it myself. Truly, the one to head this up should be someone who was a well-recognized leader, possibly wounded, but will not take no for an answer. No slackers, and ESPECIALLY nobody interested in making this their entry step into politics!
Strike up the band, we are about to make some long-needed changes.

Dave Hardin

Working on it brother. There is a lot of talk about that very thing going on behind the scenes. There is a “Proof of Concept” being developed to see if we can consolidate time and resources.

Many of us agree that we need to follow through with an “After Action Plan” of sorts. There is no need for any one person to be the “Tip of the Spear” when collectively “Blunt Force” will be far more effective.

It is a far bigger endeavor that most realize. The amount of research alone is staggering. Software development, Web-Presence, Data Archiving, Media Release, Posting Coordination, Funding and Sponsors, Research Training, Due Diligence, Lobbying, Marketing, Human Resources, and aggressive Legal Representation are all being developed.

Getting everyone to cooperate effectively can often appear as if we are herding cats in the beginning.

Stand firm and hold the line. We all get frustrated with this shit, we will become far more effective. There are some very amazing individuals behind all this. I believe in them.

Semper Fi.

GDContractor

Let me know when you come uo with a “donate” button. It will cut into my gun nutz budget for sure, but worth it. Good luck Dave. Sincerely.

Dave Hardin

Funding is critical make no mistake. Transparency of that funding equally so. Notwithstanding that fact, human resources are needed.

Having people that are willing to be trained, vetted, and available are hard to come by.

Keepin' It Real

Do NOT send Dave Hardin money! Big mistake unless you want them going down some dancer’s g-string. He’s over 50 and a senior citizen like the rest of us so please send coupons instead although the coupons will still end up going down some dancer’s g-string.

Keepin' It Real

Jez kiddin’ Dave.

Sounds like a worthwhile effort. There are enough people passionate about this and coordination could be the key that is needed right now. Some can lend their talent, some their time, some their spare change, some just brainstorming and being an idea fairy.

— KIR —

Dave Hardin

I am offended. I would never give money to a stripper the kept on his/her G String. I shows a lack of commitment.

If anyone sends me money personally I probably will spend it on some seedy form of debauchery.

I will never ask anyone for a penny. I already raised all the puppies I need to in this life. I had a feeling once, didn’t much care for it.

Besides, I don’t want to dip into Jonns cigar and cheap Scotch fund.

Perry Gaskill

I don’t see a problem sending you money for strippers, Dave. The midgets are another story…

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

That is funny!

You are showing your age!

It ain’t g-string anymore, that is so 70’s or 80’s.

I think the new term is tong …

No, throng …

Anyway, they wear something new these days!

Jarhead

Dave…. now that’s the best news I’ve seen in a long time. Where do donations need be sent? Any possibility of making it a 501 3C or whatever the proper designation is? That would encourage a lot of donations from hopefully even those who are unaware of this site, or do not post on same. However, that’s merely a question. Like you, I realize every point of refuge has its price. Check out Martha Robey, home office only 90 minutes from here. If there is EVER any way I can assist you with some grunt work, all you need do is ask. If you can print a name and address, your first donation is on the way. Jonn may still have my phone number if a donation need be in cash to get the ball rolling. In spite of what you might think, I do know efforts such as this take time and a little start-up funding. Being aware of your posts for some time now gives me comfort that this will come to fruition. S/F

Dave Hardin

Fruition, I love that word. The 501 filing can be done by The Accounting Firm Inc., a licensed and insured Certified Public Accounting Firm free of charge.

We currently have no obvious mechanism by which individuals may apply to assist with research.

Reading military records and Google Fu are hard enough, slogging through the bullshit some clerks return in a FOIA request is mind bending. I have someone do one on me every so often. The last one only a few weeks ago said I was stationed in San Diego and Washington DC. I was never stationed at either place. I often takes many FOIA requests to get valid information.

Keepin' It Real

I’d like to hear more, Dave. Personally I’d like to see the equivalent of an official Sex Offender database that has some Senate/Congressional approval behind it and it puts the ball in the offenders court to get off it by providing official paperwork.

Dave Hardin

The obvious strength of releasing information on a Valor Thief is no single individual can be the focus of a lawsuit. The Corporation takes on the burden. Properly structured and effectively operated, piercing the Corporate Veil through litigation will be nearly impossible.

With that accomplished marketing the data of offenders can become far more aggressive. LEO’s currently have no resource to fall back on when confronted with a stolen valor case. Sample case studies should be provided with recommended guidelines.

Dapandico

Halloween is next month, Fatwa Fred.

NECCSEABEECPO

You know I’m with all of you sometimes you just have to give in but that’s bull shit we give in S I’m with Jarhead on this one and I’ve spoke with my congressman the other day about this will see were this goes.

We do have to take to the public and it should be VET’S that lead the way.

Jarhead

Your last sentence in particular is inspiring and dead on!

NECCSEABEECPO

You know I’ve never seen any senior NCO wear their service or dress uniform while traveling maybe Atlanta and in DC but most of the time they hand carry their uniforms so they will be presentable for the event they are going to in other words they will change when they get there so the uniform is AJSQD away. That’s probably why the Col Stopped him plus being Fat and unsat. You know this guy got an upgrade and passed threw the TSA line. So he broke the stolen valor law in so many way’s besides the Silver Stare V what a dumb ass.

H1

What I don’t understand is how they can get so far without a valid CAC. Officer presenting his first is the way to do it.

Hondo

I’m guessing he showed a valid photo ID to pass through security that wasn’t a CAC, possibly along with some sob story about forgetting his military ID. I could be wrong.

FatCircles0311

In a just world these turds would be stripped of the uniform on the spot and when the police were called about a veteran assaulting the phony they would say the veteran felt threatens and was well within their right to neutralize the threat.

Green Thumb

Or borrow a page from the Islamic world have “Poser Police” that cane you on the spot.

Combat Historian

I’m surprised this fat phony fuck wasn’t wearing the Navy Cross with a “V” device on it…

Formally known as JR

Or an MOH with V and atrow head device

JarHead Pat

Yup, some things will never change, dude really, cover on indoors, V device on a Silver Star do your homework if your going to make the top 10 on this page, fat pos.

smirking wolf

Wow. he is modest he could’ve just gone straight to 5 star general of marines or starfleet admiral.

Talk about increase::: anyone notice the beards and contractor hats sported at the golf course and high school football games since “DArk thirty” and “Lone survivor” hit the screens. ??? culture of wannabees.

John Robert Mallernee

Since he was at the airport, I wonder if the Airport Police and/or the (anti-American and unconstitutional) Transportation Security Administration were alerted to his presence, and whether or not they took appropriate measures to expose and/or restrict his continued mobility?

Also, as for him wearing his cover while indoors, when I was in Basic Combat Training at Fort Lewis, Washington in 1968, our drill sergeant taught us that when you are wearing a stripped pistol belt, that is considered to be “under arms” (as we were taught to use our pistol belt as a weapon), and whenever you are under arms, you keep your headgear on, whether indoors or out.

Thus, by Army standards, he was correct in wearing his cover indoors, as his uniform included a stripped pistol belt.

If he had been a GENUINE Marine, he would have learned that in Boot Camp, and been able to so inform the Army officer who was challenging him (assuming the Marines have uniform regulations, customs, and traditions similar to the Army).

Just an Old Dog

He’s not under arms. The Belt he is wearing is a dress belt.

TSA haters? On this website?

The TSA finds an average of 30 firearms a week on people trying to board planes.

And for someone who was clearly old enough to remember September 11th, you should know better.

I finally watched the video, it should only be a matter of time until his real identity is discovered as well as any military background of his and then it’s DOGPILE TIME yet again!

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

BTW: As much as the incident pisses me and us off.

The interview and contact was done all wrong.

In fact, the POS may have won the encounter (battle).

The war, not so much.

We need to be smarter in how we approach such people.

In NYC there are so many, I have practice … Plus I can smell them from a city block away.

Privacy in key, polite verbal intercourse is the standard and indentifiying the individual first and foremost is the goal!

“Excuse me Sir, can we have a moment?”

Or

“Marine, thank you for your service, where are from?”

Or

“I will show you my creds, but I need to see yours, no one here needs to embarrased in public … Come on let’s see”.

You will note that a bystander intervened because it was a very uncomfortable place and time! That was game lost and over.

Rule # 1 … IDENTIFICATION!

Rule # 2 … Any IDENTIFICATION.

Rule # 3 … Don’t play investigator, cop, lawyer or judge when you are not!

I predict this will go viral and the POS will be known, however he could have been known there on the spot!

I might have asked airport LE to intervene.

But what do I know?

Just an Old Dog

I think a lot of the outting videos don’t seem very well done because the people doing the outting are in shock.
It’s hard to adjust and take in the asshattery.
Its sort of like getting propositioned in a restroom by a guy who wants to wax your pope.
Five minutes later it sinks in but at the time you just want to get the hell away from him.
I guess dealing with shitbags on a regular basis gives you a leg up on how to blast them.

Jarhead

Good level-headed thinking MCPO. The kind Dave Hardin will be in need of shortly.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Yeah, So the Yankees profiled and honored another Vet at tonights home game 7th in groin pull!

Tonight was a local WWII Vet.

Clearly in his twighlight tour with his kids and grandkids around him as he commanded his wheelchair!

The POS highlighted in this thread only solidifies why we do this, “because it matters”.

Good Copy !!!!

Sweet!! Any details on what they did to give him his just desserts?

Skippy

the video is on the stolen valor page and web site I did not make it to the end but there is a woman involved.

Just an Old Dog

I watched the video. Unfortunately there was really nothing to add as far as who this bag of toad snot was. The woman in the still shot of the video was not part of it she was anothe sack of shit from an unrelated crime story.

Skippy

I should have watched the whole video. had to baby down 🙁

Skippy

the station is out of Kansas City, the dumb ass was trying to get a free up-grade, I bate 🙁

sj

Yep. I just wrote the VSO in my beloved father in law’s AO asking for help in honoring a USAF Master Sergeant’s service at his funeral in Lenoir NC.

No one in the family knew much about his service until I came along. I lied to him to get his 214 and had a plaque made with all his service awards (no valor…just honorable service). Not one thing in his house or truck showing service. His answer: “I was just a gooney bird crew chief”. More time than me in VN plus Laos and Cambodia. Plus he retired as a Master Sergeant.

More irony: his house is in the same grid square as Round Ranger’s in Gamewell.

I’m going to ask Jonn for permission to post more about this when the dust settles.

Paul Rex

I will never understand why some num nut goes around pretending to be any of our Military. And going as a Marine? LOl people been shot for less than that. What a dipstick. I had a link to a station in KC I’m trying to find it

Midnightguy

I just retired from Law Enforcement after 27 years. Some commenter’s said that if he was in a Police Uniform action would have been taken. Yep sure thing. Possible arrest plus a complete check of the Airport and delayed flights until it was determined why he was dressed that way. Dressing in a non issued Military Uniform should be the same thing. This guy was for sure working the “in the service bit” for upgrades or discounts. He should be completely checked out by Law enforcement before boarding any plane.

Jarhead

Can anyone give me the date (and approx. time of day)this took place? We know it was daylight outside, supposedly we know his flight origination and destination; it’s only a matter of time! Anybody know somebody who works for Southwest? Give em’ a call and beg for help.

That being said, I am still going to continue searching. Even if I find him, the admission stands.
