Billy J. Burns; Marine Special Forces Group phony

| March 3, 2014

Billy J. Burns SFMarine

This guy, Billy Burns, is strange. Scotty says that he had a perfectly honorable career in the Marine Corps, so, why the special forces tattoo?

Every interview I do with the media on this issue, they always ask me why people do this, and I can never give an authoritative answer, and it’s because of guys like Billy, here.

He is some kind of “Special”, that’s why he got the tat… Going to suck covering that over, but he should before somone takes a belt sander to it.

A Proud Infidel

SONOFABLAKE!!

Green Thumb

He got the tattoo to draw attention away from his massive guns.

To borrow from Frankly Opinionated: This dude is a pathetic, mega, first-class loser!

Sparks

“Massive guns” Thanks GT as I wipe coffee off my screen!

Ex-PH2

I am mystified by this. I truly am.

I don’t have any tattoos. Maybe I should get one.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Not a great Marine … he got out on Nov 30, 2001 as we had just entered a war!

There was a reason he got out!

What was it?

Just sayin’!

CWORet

Nice catch. At that time they hadn’t implemented stop-loss quite yet, or they would have snagged him most likely. Looks like he slipped out just as things were ramping up for AG. Nice lookin’ out, war-hero phony.

Green Thumb

On the fence on this one.

I knew some guys that left service about that time.

Several senior E-5s and a few E-6s. I get were you are coming from, but these folks did their time honorably and got out.

And all are, with the exception of two, fairly successful.

Just an observation.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

I was pissed and gave up a big 6 figure contract job … just for the opportunity to possibly go kill some sumbitches after what they did to my hometown and country!

Not judging … just sayin’!

CWORet

That sucks. My company paid the difference in pay both times I got Mob’d(although they counted EVERYTHING including HazDuty pay). I still made salary, tho. Not the point, it was the commitment, not the bottom line. And I was enlisted the first time. And zero confirmed kills either. Fk this dummy. Nice tat asshole… Welcome back to the suck, but it’s a different kind of suck, now ain’t it?

Patrick

I can tell you exactly why he left at this time. His son had been born a year and a half earlier and he need to support his family at home.

Anonymous

Beats the F outta me… (scratches head)

A Proud Infidel

I have far more respect for a DOG TURD on the sidewalk than I do for shits like that!!

Hondo

Could have been a normal EAD for someone who simply didn’t want to continue on active duty, MCPO. He served exactly 4 yrs 0 mo 0 days. I believe 4 years was the normal USMC enlistment term in the late 1990s.

The timing seems suspicious, but may simply be coincidence. And while I can’t say about the USMC, I don’t think the Army instituted “Stop Loss” preventing ETS until some time in 2002.

I think I’d have tried to stay in, but maybe his situation was such that he couldn’t for personal/family reasons.

Or maybe he was just scared to go to war and take a chance of getting shot at. Dunno.

H1

The 4 years to the day is not an anomaly.
Ensures you can’t do the O4E thing in the Army.
Been there done that.

CWORet

That’s pretty much it Hondo, he did his time, and GTFO honorably as a Sgt. Nothing wrong there. It’s that whole “I’m the Special in Forces” that seems to bite all these clowns in the ass. And the fact that he got out within two month of 9/11 – knowing the shit was going down – kinda makes him look like a pussy when he rocks the whole special forces bullshit.

rb325th

But he is the “CO” of his Militia… so that kind of makes him special right?

CWORet

Yes, actually, it does. SPOS in fact.

Special Piece of Shit.

rb325th

Pretty much the direction I was going in…

H1

Is Forces Security the new Sea Duty?

Green Thumb

He looks like one of those old, crusty NCO’s that has five cups of coffee and a half-a-pack of smokes before PT in the morning.

Beretverde

“… they always ask me why people do this, and I can never give an authoritative answer,…”

“They” are into Latin sayings-
Semper Fi and De Oppresso Liber?

The tattoo inking on a phony just blows me away.

I guess getting a tattoo is easier than going through the Q Course… a hellova lot faster.

MGySgtRet

Friggin’ maggot. He just beat stop loss in 01. Good riddance I say. Or he was such a turd that his command let him go.

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

Both. I am right on this. He was an average Marine, heard reserves were being MOBed left and right, stop loss was around the corner and he either was a coward or had a problem with going to war. End of story.

Army ATC

The turd’s Facebook page is full of über patriot militia stuff, yet he got out right after 9/11. Rocking’ the lie to make up for his fear of combat maybe?

CWORet

Abso-Fucking-Lutely.

BTW, the CWORet is currently snowed in… Again. Stand by for more comedy on losers.
All. Day. Long.

2/17 Air Cav

Hey, I got a question. “How are ya gonna get back down that hill?” No, that was Paul Newman to Richard Boone in “Hombre.” My question is this: Is this all about the tat or is there more?

Martinjmpr

Let me ask the Marines out there this question: How does a guy have ZERO days of foriegn service, a paltry 15 days of sea duty, and still receive an AFEM and an HSM?

Army ATC

According to his records over at Scotty’s place, he participated in three different operations. Resolute Response, Southern Watch, and Desert Fox.

Army ATC

True. But he may have gotten it for Southern Watch if he was in Kuwait. Or was the Southwest Asia Service Medal still being given then?

MCPO NYC USN Ret.

My angle is the truth on this guy. The tat only graphically confirms my premise.

A fully trained Marine did not want to go to war.

Toasty Coastie

Don’t you guys know? The tattoo makes him “legit”.

((*Slide Whistle tO E Flat and a Tilt of the Top Hat to Green Thumb*))..

TURD!

PeteoldABH

hey what a minute, his dd214 says sea service deployment ribbon, but ‘net active sea service’ says 15 days. Is this a true dd or did he fudge this one.

Michael

About 3 months ago, I had a guy at church said he was Marine Special Forces “Green Beret”. I called him out on it in the middle of our Sunday School class (about 12 people). He said he “would have been” if he stayed in. I just said “uh huh”. Ironically, we were talking about being genuine with our faith.

PeteoldABH

slam dunk

Army ATC

You bring up a good point. Why is it that many, if not most, of those liars all claim to be good church going Christians?

Hondo

Probably because the claim helps camouflage the fact that they’re actually lying sacks of excrement.

A Proud Infidel

I’ve busted a few posers face to face, just not in Church. As for boy wonder, with that tat, he looks like someone you’d see sitting in the corner of the coffee shop in Books-A-Million reading the latest issue of Soldier of Fortune magazine with a scowl on his face!

Toasty Coastie

Question to All~

Wasn’t “Desert Fox” a name of a German General named Rommel during WW11?

If so, why would the US use a German moniker for a mission name in the Mid East of all places?

(Serious question)

Thank you in advance.

SidneyBroadshead

Desert Fox was the Clinton Era invasion of Iraq in 1998. It consisted of a bombing campaign and cruise missile strikes against strategic targets (chemical weapons facilities). There were also a series of raids into northern Iraq from Turkish bases by groups of Kurdish militants and Iraqi exiles led by Army Special Forces teams. After four days the operation was called off with no actual long-term gains. The embargo on Iraq was forcibly lifted by the UN Security Council to punish the US. Turkey ejected all US forces from its soil in protest and refused to base troops during the later Bush era invasion of Iraq. Kurdish refugees at the staging camps were handed over to Iraqi forces (despite Washington’s promises to not do so) and were murdered in mass graves. This betrayal made the Kurds distrust America and made the groups they belonged to more radical; their terrorist strikes against Turkey and Iran were a diplomatic nightmare. The fiasco was called “Monica’s War” or the “‘Wag the Dog’ bombings” in the media.

I have the truth about Billy Joe Burns! He is my dad. I was born April 22, 2000. He left to help my mom take care of me! That’s the truth about this man.
