Vanderhoof, Part II

| April 12, 2012

The author of the previous article told me that the Saginaw News also did an article on Mumbles McQueasy, so I went looking for it and sure enough, the little turd isn’t just telling people that he’s a SEAL, apparently, the SEAL thing is relatively new;

Vanderhoof moved to Saginaw with his parents when he was 13 years old. In 1973, he joined the U.S. Navy.

He was discharged two years later and went to California to look for a job.

“I found a job. A different job. I became a body guard for Randolph Hearst. It was right after the incident with his daughter,” said Vanderhoof referring to the 1974 kidnapping of Patty Hearst when she was 19 years old.

“If anybody wanted to see Hearst, they had to to see first. I searched everyone looking for weapons. There were a few incidents but nothing serious,” said Vanderhoof.

He moved back to Saginaw in 1979 to be with his parents and siblings who lived in the city.

“I lost some of my toes in an accident, the toes on my right foot. But I can still walk. I’ve gotten pretty used to it,” he said.

He’s a regular Forrest Gump, ain’t he?

The toes he lost in a landmine “game of tag” were now lost in an accident. He was probably chewing on them. And i’m surprised that he found the Department of Veterans’ Affairs, since he can’t spell “veteran” (see the sign), or “please” or “donation” or “disabled”.

I guess that those guys in journalism school just learn how to use Google to find the latest craze restaurant or free porn.

Money coming in was slow with the Navy Vet-Hearst Body guard line, so he became a Vietnam SEAL saving Danang. I wonder what he did with the baby wrapped in grenades? Did he toss it in the air away from the base and shoot it like at the skeet range? Anyway, I would be embarrassed to be associated with this news “piece.”

I e-mailed Ms. Perdue, let’s see if she’ll “man up” like Mr. Camp did.

As a civilain copper for 32 years, I was amazed at how many times I came across a homelessfuckingbum beggging for money….with a sign claiming to be a war vet. I always asked them a few questions like:
1.) What were you in?
2.) What was your MOS?
3.) Do you have your DD214?

In almost ALL cases, they couldn’t answer any of these questions and usually had no idea what the last 2 questions were.
I told them they were doing “False advertising” on their signs and I could arrest them for that.

It’s better that they never find the answers. To tell you the truth, I’d rather hear silence from a homeless (___) than (i.e.) someone like Matthis Chiroux making up an elaborate lie based on someone else’s experience. At least the dude who remains quiet is like, “oh, crap, well stick a fork in me cause I’m done.” Stark contrast from “I am a TRUE WAR VETERAN, like, I mean it…. I been there. At night, I dream of death, although I don’t know what it means. But I hurt… Sniffle… I hurt….”

Well, a little steam let off anyway.

@#2- I am wondering the same thing about that “baby wrapped in grenades”, the viet cong were crafty but not that crafty…I’d tend to think something like that would make the 6 o’clock news somewhere, lmao!

The TV station has posted retraction…..not a huge one. But our trinket-peddling hero still claims that he was a Navy SEAL

I never believe these beggars when i see them which may be wrong on my part. But I just can’t see any a veteran resorting so low as to begging, no matter how hard the economy or situation. Most I know have pride and being a veteran know where to find help if needed. I’m sure there are some out there though without self pride and the gumption to find help on their own and think alcohol is their cure, sad. Took me two weeks to go through all the links on fakewarriors.org and I sat there mouth agasp because I never realized how rampant this wannabe disease was. But there is no better feeling in the world then when you see they have been exposed.

I work around the corner from where this fool was: about 5 blocks from the VA hospital! When people started talking about this dude or should I say dud, I said “Bullsh$t! if he really did serve his a$$ would be right over here in line with all the other vets. I am a vet an work at that VA! Real vets know exactly where to go! I saw him a few weeks ago but traffic was too heavy to see his sign.

I run into “Navy SEALs” all the time. I always ask a few simple questions like: Who was your swim buddy? What class did you graduate with? What is the name of the Hotel where rock portage is done? What is “so solly day”? These are things that they will never forget…yet these ass hats don’t even know what the hell I’m talking about…BTW, I WAS NOT a SEAL, but I worked with them and have 2 good friends who are still on the teams, and I was stationed “right around the corner”.
