Joe Cryer; SEAL turned Chippendale dancer
The folks at POW Net sent us a link to the living legend of Joseph Brian Cryer. Cryer claims to have been a secret SEAL – you know those rare individuals who go to secret training and work without a record of the units in which they serve and the missions they accomplish for us.
In fact he was recruited from a video arcade and sent straight to BUD/S without the burden of boot camp. So there’s a lesson for all of you youngsters out there – spend more time in video arcades and the SEALs may pick you out of the the thousands of other glassy-eyed teens and send you straight to highly technical and physically demanding training based on nothing more than your Donkey Kong score.
Apparently, he was in the Gulf of Sidra in 1986 aboard the USS Caron during a time that the Caron had no SEALs onboard, according to witnesses. Then he secretly (how else) deployed into Libya and killed 77 Libyans in 102 sleepless hours. I know, how can you sleep when there are so many Libyans to kill and such little time. But those bloody hours gave him PTSD for which he gets 100% disability rating from the DVA.
And he was discharged as an E-3. Can you imagine that – all that killing and he doesn’t even get a promotion.
Can you believe that this boyish man was responsible for the deaths of 77 Libyans in a secret war we executed against Libya? I think this picture was taken when he was training for his bloody rampage;
After his discharge, he tried to wiggle away the nightmares as a Chippendale dancer at the Hanger Club. The dollar bills in his thong didn’t assuage his guilt, though, so Admiral Mullen helped him get his disability rating. Apparently promoting him from E-3 to O-5 in the process.
But what really attracted me to his story is that he threatened the folks at POW Net with legal process if they don’t take his page down. I want a piece of that action. Well, that and a chance to stomp a mudhole in his ass.
ADDED: Speaking of mudhole stomping, I found a conviction for wife beating. As if he wasn’t already despicable enough.
Category: Phony soldiers
Any of you know many NAVY SEALS who, when falsely accused, would puss out and take their Facebook page down? I can’t find him on FB. Sounds wimp to me.
As a retired Navy SEAL, I’d like to thank the Schantags at POW Network for their work in pursuing this scumbag. They should WELCOME his threatened lawsuit, as they would take him to the cleaners, or at least to bankruptcy court!
Surface Navy–shit floats.
Hey, Crybaby–next time you try to play Chippendale dancer, just remember one thing–the potato goes in FRONT.
Someone ought to explain to this guy about that part of a lawsuit called “discovery”. He might change his mind. Or not.
Larry Bailey: Thanks for the good work you and your folks do.
Here’s what’s sad….the VA will do nothing about this. You can’t tell me it’s not against the law to carry an O-5 card when you were an E-3. How the hell the VA can approve a dork like this for PTSD…100% friggin’ percent when I’ve got real brothers with CIB’s CMB’s struggling to get 50%. I would so love to get my hands on this piece of shit….just once. Whatever base printed up his ID should also be investigated as to why they didn’t confirm his rank. Wouldn’t have happened at Parris Island. I had to show my DD 214 before they would type in the rank. I’m so pissed at this I could just scream. Another BP med..down the hatch.

If the US Navy really wanted to he should be recalled under his officer status and charged with Article 134 “Impersonating an officer”…Since he is/was carrying an “O5 ID card”, then be sent to Coronado, let the SEAL’s have him as their “special guest” for the entire cycle? Just saying…
Uh ohhhhh….Don Shipley caught to his a$$hattery….http://pownetwork.org/horv/horv_831.htm
#6 S.Class….that’s from 2006 but I left a comment for anyone who just may read it. Wonder if he’s been kicked out of Ocean City by now. Probably.
Thanks for that website…this guy is a pathological liar, sociopath, and one of the biggest pieces of shit I’ve ever read about.

#1- the gaydar has pegged with this one.
#2- there is no #2.
According to consumer complaint the link below establishes Chuck and Mary Schantag of pownetwork.org were both arrested for possession and distribution of Crystal methamphetamine.

You have proof? Oh and I love this comment from your website.
which is illegally supplying them with veteran’s private data.
You know that all military records are public knowledge right?
According to consumer complaint the link below establishes Chuck and Mary Schantag of pownetwork.org were both arrested for possession and distribution of Crystal meth-amphetamine.

Then you will also know, asshole, that that claim was a false accusation made by a disgruntled poser.
Or are you that disgruntled poser?
Secret SEAL??!! Ahhhh … would that be similar to Secret Squirrel?
I looked at the website…from 2006. Can’t see anything about a conviction for meth. What I see is an old website that if anything they say is true…the POWNET would be history. Nice try though. Maybe an idiot would believe it…or a wannabee pray for it. Which are you?

Here’s the phony who tried to press those charges. Jerry Beery and I had a furious email exchange for a few days over it. The Schantags were cleared of those bogus charges and I have complete confidence in them. In fact, Anonymous here might even be Beery who enjoys dragging those old charges up in order to redeem his phony ass.
Any ideas on how to hold these alleged drug dealing extortiionist perps accountable?
In fact, I just checked my traffic tracker and Anonymous arrived at this blog by Googling “Jere Beery”. Need a screen shot? The IP (216.36.16.2) is coming from Lexington Park, Maryland. Anonymous has been here for over an hour – the longer you stay, the easier it’ll be to ID you, Junior.
And, oh, Beery writes at Gordon Duff’s Veterans Today. What else needs to be said?
It is POSTED on the internet so it must be true.
You have not presented any evidence to your claims and then trying to call for punishment before they have been proven guilty? Now you want to talk about truthful information on the net? Really?
By the way, dickbreath, now that you’ve started googling my name, you won’t find anything useful. Save that remaining brain cell.
John: Good Job, you are definitely one top of your game.
My buddy who is a SEAL told me that the only SEALs who did not go to BUD/S were a few Vietman era corpmen who got a trident after the fact. There is no such thing as a secret SEAL. Secret missions yes, secret SEALs no. The fact that one is/was a SEAL would not be kept secret from those with whom the person was serving on board a ship.
This guy is a poser and someone should investigate him for theft.
Jonn, Just add LB’s comment to your post and screw the vermin.
Good point about secret missions, Susan. If his mission is so secret, why is he blabbering about it on Facebook?
John: Very good point, Mr. Cryer needs to shut his mouth. That we agree.
Those missions that are so secret squirrel, if he ever DID talk about them he would probably have had a few unfriendly knocks on his door. there ARE missions like that that have an arbitrary date put on them, usually calculated to be after everyone involved is long since dead.
I personally think the POW Net is doing good things. Nothing I can stand less then a faker. Fraud is fraud, lies are lies, and defending scum, will in the end dirty your own hands.
I would think if Mr. Cryer has done something truly illegal he would of been prosecuted to the full extent of the law. A vigilante group stating there opinion on the internet is not the law. After he is prosecuted then run with the story, till then it is simply hearsay. Nothing more nothing less. I am just the messenger, but I can tell you this the POW Network is getting enemies at all levels of the Government. Just search there name: Chuck and Mary Schnatag, don’t take my word for it.
1. would *have been
2. *their not ‘there’
3. till is for money. ’til is abbreviated until
4. again *their not there
And for the record, we dont expect our comments and opinions to be taken as law We do, however, take great offense to Dbags who pose as something more than they’re not. They didnt have the balls to sign on, and they dont have the right to get benefits our tax dollars pay for, when our real heroes go hungry, homeless and without medical care.
Out.
Contrary to what has been represented by the POW Network and (there owners) Chuck and Mary Schantag, they are not an extension of Federal Law Enforcement or even of the Veterans Administration. If they tell you any to the contrary that is a bone faced lie. I personally talked to the VA OIG and they denied any affiliation whatsoever with the Schantag’s or POW Network. They also noted that if a Veteran’s records were accessed without the Veteran’s authorization that is a Federal Offense. So when they try to intimate Veterans and there families let’s get the story straight. Till proven differently, they are drug dealers and run a criminal enterprise to extort money from Veterans and there families. Anyone who is part of this extortion scam is complicate to the criminal activity and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
You do not have to be. Anyone can request military records of anyone that served. I am not quite sure were you think that you need to be law enforcement to do so. You have any proof of them claiming to be part of the law enforcement?
Lets go at this one more time. ANYONE can request military records from the HRC at St Louis without the consent of the person if that are no longer in active duty. Anyone can look up anyone on active duty on AKO that checks to see if a person is legit. Notice that the records that they have removed certain things like date of birth, SSNs and things like that. So just in case you missed this here it is again.
Without the veteran’s authorization.
Limited amounts of information can be released from a record to a member of the general public. This is the information available under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act. Please review the list of releasable items under that topic.
If I want medical records and not military records THEN it requires the person’s consent. I am not sure where your getting the idea that they got military records illegally.
Also once again you have not brought any proof with your claims. Until proven differently, they are innocent.
What’s a “bone faced lie”? Also, there =/= their.
Learn to English.
Turdball of the highest order.
@Larry B: I don’t think that I have ever said this before but thank you for your service. jp
Hey, Beery–shiny, motherfucker!!! SHINY!!!
OK, idiot, it’s “would have”, “intimidate”, and “complicit”.
Christ, my head’s going to explode.
Holy Shit!!!! Mike Sparks resurfaces!

Sorry, not nihilists, narcissists.

All I can think of here is the car salesman pretending to be a spy in the movie “True Lies” with Jamie Lee Curtis.
This loser is the one giving Phildo all of the lap dances.

In the photo of him sitting in the floor, I’m pretty sure he’s reading the latest edition of “The Advocate”. Just saying, it goes along with everything else gay about him!
He’s reading Salon, and what that pretty, long haired hippy dude in the pleather (no animals harmed) jacket said!!!
