Personally, I haven’t been a member of the CAP since Carter was President, so please, someone in the know get me up to date. This person has his unit listed as Crusader Squadron 42076 which is (or was) a CAP squadron in Arlington TX. Since CAP squadron commanders are CAP Majors, why would a CAP Lt Col be in a squadron? I smell more bs.
I called the Tarrant CO. DA office and described myself as a 53-year-old PhD in law enforcement. I told them I wanted to file a criminal complaint because some internet bullies had hacked my adult son’s email account.They politely informed me I could not file a criminal complaint about something that happened to another adult even if he is my son. They then politely inquired as to which color of crackerjacks box I got my PhD in law enforcement credentials from. At this point I tried to explain to them the fundamentals of t I me travel. They hung up on me.
I verified the email to Chevalier with Don Shipley, just now on the phone. Don admits that he wrote the email, but that he now regrets that. It was soon after he wrote the email, for various reasons, Don sent back Chevalier’s deposit for attendance at the Extreme SEAL Experience and asked him to not attend. They also worked to block Chevalier from the various web presences. Of course, he found ways around those blocks, becoming a huge pest.
Not Don’s fault. It actually looks like a typical business letter to an employer explaining why one of their employees will be absent and describing some of the pertinent training that soeone will be involvled in.
Other than him adding that Chevliar contributed to outing phonies ( which he probabably did do some finger pointing) it looks like a “cookie cutter” email that a successful school would send out to someone that has paid a deposit and scheduled a class.
Its not like it would be a good idea to send out a letter saying ” Yeah this fat dipshit is coming to our class, so he will miss a few days work. Hopefully we can get him through training without him having a heart attack or blowing his foot off, anyway he will be better thenhe was with guns than before”

I used to do housing inspections and I would run across people that would have “I love Me rooms” like that. Not that its always a bad or fraudulent thing. Sometimes its just a person quirk. There was one lady that was part of a small coin collecting club of about 20 people. She had pictures, letters and plaques going back 25 years.
Had another guy that was big into Civil War reenacting. Again tons of photos letters, “promotion warrants” and “medals”.
The difference is this guy collects stuff and tries to make it more than what it is.
He reminds of a guy I worked with doing those inspections… He made it a point that every month or so he would bullshit a customer into writing him a hand wriiten note saying he did a good job, supposedly to just put in the property file. Then the Son of a bitch would put it in an envelope and mail it to national HQ. A week or so later he would get a commendation from National for customer service excellence and a pin.
He did that shit at least 10 times while I was there.
