I am retired USAF, not USMC, so I do not know the answer to this question. If Lopez spent his entire career in CA, NV, and VA, how would he qualify for a Combat Action Ribbon? I thought you had to see actual combat, and not by watching movies. I also do not understand all the other medal abbreviations.
Obviously, it is a forgery because of the different fonts used on the DD214. The original is done with an IBM sans serif select ball on a typewriter, the changes are done on a regular typewriter.
