James Gattoni was my bunkie during Hospital Corps School in San Diego. We spent a lot of time together training and partying. He was a honorable simple catholic boy from Boston and I can tell you he was honest and a very smart student and made a good Corpsman. He made a mistake. But looking at his life as a whole and the honorable service he gave to his country, I don’t think people should be trying to destroying this man or his reputation. James N. Kelley, USN
