It is a dumb idea and only the men and women assigned to ghost recon will have any recoliton of the event and if he says he was there he was there there is no reason to drag his good name through a fan of shit. Plus our government alters public records to make it look like nothing classified ever occurred to prevent our men and women from becoming hit targets of any type of terrorist group trying to clean up the mess or a random person out for revenge.
